I told maintenance that my reaction to any one walking into my apartment with a key while I'm home (and likely undressed) will result in horrific consequences for him. I'm friendly and very respectful to them, but showed them boundaries. They knock and they don't use the key now. Although I don't attend events they are providing more. It's still very quiet and if you like lots of socializing this may not be for you. The building is clean, quiet and well kept. It's made affordable for 55+ and handicapped. Cell phone reception is not great. Xfinity is still charging the tenants here astronomical fees. I recommend you use a ' hotspot ' and you won't need Xfinity. You'll save close to $200 on the basic cable, internet and phone.

Since we currently are building a house in the Pocono Area, We live 110 miles or so away. When we arrived at the Store we asked for her. She came over and asked if we had an appointment, we did not. She was short with us, telling us she could give us 5 to 10 minutes before her next appointment. We explained that we drove over a hundred miles, that didn't seem to matter. So we looked around and made an appointment for the following week. We got there 30 minutes early and she had people at her desk. She told us to go look around for ideas. 10 minutes before our scheduled time, she came and found us and spent the next 2 hours working with us. We then realized that her "attitude" the last time we were there was just her way of saying that her customer she is working with at the moment is her first priority. For 2 hours we were hers. She was constantly interrupted by other employees needing things and other customers (without appointments) trying to get her to do something. In her matter of fact tone, she told them that if they want to wait until she is done with us then they could, otherwise make an appointment. She is also straight forward with her opinions and designs. She will make you think about your choices and suggest some other ideas. The final design was more than we would have ever expected. We left there first by saying sorry for being pushy the first time we met and leaving there with a friend. If you go to Arley, call first, ask for Megan and make an appointment. Be prepared to be told "No you don't want that" because You will not regret working with her. She is our Tile Hero! We will go back again for our basement bathroom! Prices are a little higher than Lowes and Home Depot, but you get a Designer like Megan, Well worth the small extra money!
