For example, they scheduled us for 8:00 in the morning, however the driver showed up at 7:00 in the morning because he says that's the time they gave him. Instructors weren't always the friendliest nor very knowledgeable. I had an instructor who said that there was no need to pay attention to speed limit signs. Also had an instructor who wasn't shy in using vulgar language either. Also had to use driving time as a way to run errands for the instructor; I had to drop him off and wait on him. The last instructor did give good advice on the actual driving test which was certainly helpful. Overall, it got the job done, but was certainly a pain.

they did make it right and got me in for my last one on the same day so that is a plus…read more I am taking my drivers ed through the Dnd drivers ed and dont get me wrong my driving instructor is great and so was my teacher but the problem is when they choose to cancel a in car they did it at the exact time I was supposed to be in the car and we had to drive 30 mins to get to my pick up location and I already had my drivers test scheduled for the next available time after today because it's was supposed to be my last in car with an instructor. They sGould have told us at least 30 min in advance because the radar showed the weather and that is why they canceled it's been on the radar since yesterday so they should've notified us earlier.

The wait was about 2 months, which was what they had noted it would likely be. I called to check in and they kindly scheduled all my daughter's sessions. My daughter's instructor was Rich and he was excellent. He was kind, relaxed, funny and personable, making my daughter feel relaxed and at ease. But he was also fair, professional and incredibly helpful in providing guidance, feedback and insight to my daughter to prepare her for her driving test. I had a few calls with D&D for a few other things/questions and the people I spoke to were always kind and helpful. My daughter took her test and passed. Horrible place to get your CDL! Paid the $5500 out of…read morepocket to go to school. Did the classroom training which was easy and learned a lot but when i got to the yard it was a different story. First week i got some pretty good training however instructors were all on their phones the whole time which made it difficult to really learn. When it got time to the 2nd and 3rd week there was so many new students that it was difficult to even get ANY seat time. Before lunch i sat around and didn't get to do any maneuvers while I waited. Shortly after lunch i was going to do my "on road" driving but the truck was stuck in re-gen and didn't get any driving time the whole entire day. Once the school has your money they do the absolute bare minimum for you to pass through the school. Completely unfair and unprofessional way of teaching. i also noticed all of the other students were in the same boat as i was, not being able to get any seat time behind the truck and getting fed up just sitting around. Do yourself a favor and spend your money on a difference school where you can actually learn and get drive time. This school is a complete joke

She made him feel confident behind the wheel and helped him pass his test on the first try. Highly recommend this school to anyone learning to drive! The state of Ohio requires an NRA approved class in order to get a CCW permit, there are lots of…read morepeople and businesses that offer the class and they are not all the same. The requirements are the same but the methods and quality of instruction are not, some just check the blocks while others really care about what they do, Family Tactical Training is definitely in the the later category. Vince and Brad made this training practical and enjoyable from start to finish, safety was always first and foremost in everything we did both in the classroom and on the range during the second day. I enjoyed the entire class but the Bob the attorney's overview of the state and federal laws and their practical application was extremely useful. I also very much enjoyed the simulator, even though I think I did pretty well I would love to run back through the scenarios again (a few times!). Carrying a weapon for defense is a HUGE responsibility and requires constant training, practice, and the right mindset ,these aspects were also heavily stressed throughout the program. If you choose to carry and need this class or just want to learn more about handguns, I highly recommend Family Tactical Training, they are true professionals! Obviously this is a highly personal choice, there are some out there that are totally against all gun ownership and others that are for totally unrestricted carry and ownership, I wrote this review based upon my own stance on the issue and my personal choice in the matter.
