I had a blown electrical socket in my kitchen and needed a new one. John returned my call within an hour from my request and was able to come out that day. Absolute worse. Poor character and uber shady practice. Had wiring done in our home for remodel and would not have picked up on shady practice unless our General Contractor pointed it out. 1. Wiring for many canned lights not to code and poorly secured with wire nut with many if not all light wiring loose! Holes in ceiling cut inappropriately too large leaving large gaps which John replies can be taken care of by drywall contractor with some mud and paint! 2. NEVER obtained inspection for work although charged for permit...I wonder what he was concerned about by not having his work inspected, hmm ....he even applied for permit for wrong address which was brought to his attention but never corrected and refused to rectify stating he moved out of state. Asked whether he would refund our permit fee since it was useless and he just ghosts us. 3. He installed exhaust fans in bathrooms but does not attach the duct and never tells us! Says it is not his purview as an electrician and that we should hire HVAC company which we certainly would have had he informed us. Again we would not have know unless brought to our attention by GC. 4. Outlets not working in area of home and we had another electrician come after John did his damage and are being told the wires were capped in order to accommodate new switch that prior electrician (John) installed. Again another corner cut . These are the problems that we are aware of after the fact and we are still dealing with the complications and aftermath of poor work by D&D. Anyone dealing with him should be cautious and prepared to double check his work. We reached out to Yelp to see if they would help resolve this but they washed their hands of the situation and said it was too long after install was complete. Caveat emptor read more

Fixed what needed to be fixed (re-routed to new breaker, interior switch upgrades) as well as troubleshot and fixed what we didn't even know what needed to be fixed (at no added cost).
