Very, very happy with the party bus we rented and over-all service from D & D. All and all I was 99.9% pleased. I initially communicated with Scott Archer. He was professional and answered all my questions. I was satisfied with everything, so I booked and paid. They did not let me down. They kept in contact with me and texted the name of the chauffeur (Edward) a few days prior to the party. They texted again the day of the party. Edward, our chauffeur was early and (thank GOD!) we had a chance to get our things into the bus and get organized before all the people boarded. Edward was courteous and professional. Perfect! No issues! - and no issues, when there is a party in progress, is golden! The only little teeny tiny thing that was not perfect, was the t.v. in the bus did not work. At first, they told me the remote was missing or misplaced (prior to renting the vehicle) but I thought they were going to locate it and I thought the big screen t.v. would be working. The remote was never located and the t.v. did not work. However, it was a non-issue to my daughter. who didn't seem interested in it anyway. She was more interested in the music and the sound system which worked great with the blue tooth that connected to her phone, so she could play her playlist. My daughter and her friends also loved the lighting on the bus that faded from one color to the next and flashed if programmed. They did have the remote to the lighting system. They also provided ice and cups, which was a nice touch. In the end, I was very pleased with D & D and I would definitely go through them again to rent a vehicle if I have the need. I am very impressed by the professional and personal service provided by D&D. I have used the company twice for transportation needs, and have been more than happy. The first was transportation of my daughter from her high school to the airport to join the family for a vacation trip -- it was an odd request for a public school pick-up, and snow was falling, but the car was waiting when she was done with class and got her to the airport without any problem in time for her flight. Most recently was for senior prom. We arranged for a limo for 4 couples, and the service was impeccable. The company checked with me on allowed stops in advance (so that the kids would not have the ability to ask for any side trips), picked the group up after pictures at a park, got them to dinner (additional location) and the prom, and then returned them to our house at the end of the evening. The driver provided sparkling cider (at no additional charge), and we were able to wrap the tip into the pre-payment so that the kids did not have to worry about carrying cash to pay for it. The driver was outstanding. I heard some horror stories from other parents about other limo companies stranding kids at the prom (when part of the group wanted to leave early) -- and while that wasn't an issue for our group of kids, I truly believe that D&D would not have allowed anything like this to happen. D & D Transportation was amazing and really came through for us in a clutch. Our original limo company had cancelled 2 weeks before our wedding saying that they double booked and did not have a limo available for our date, even though we had already paid in full. With only 2 weeks to find a limo/bus to accommodate 14 people during wedding/homecoming season was a nightmare. Everywhere I called was booked or would not rent for only 3 hours. When I felt all hope was lost I called D&D transportation and they came through. Scott was so helpful. He really listened and worked with me on the hours/pricing, which was very competitive. He put my mind at ease and ensured me I would have great transportation waiting for us the day of our wedding. When we walked out of the church there was a red carpet, complimentary wine, and a beautiful fully equipped party bus waiting for us. The driver was fun, polite, and very professional. Our bridal party was so impressed with the bus and the service, we all felt like rock stars. We are so grateful to Scott and D&D Transportation for all they did. I first visited 10 other limo companies for my wedding because I've heard a lot of horror stories about other companies from trusted friends. Every single one I went too couldn't guarentee the Limo I would receive was the Limo I was looking at. Every other place I went too people were rude and the Limo's were really used and abused, not to mention their prices were very high. When I Went to D&D I was sold!! They are a smaller operation but make no mistake they are heads and hands above the rest in quality and customer service. The Day of the wedding they were early and the Driver (I hate that I forgot his name) was the utmost professional and Literally rolled out the red carpet for us. The prices were also cheaper than the larger companies. Such an Awesome time ! I was trying to plan a big 30th birthday party for my husband and I came across this gem. I rented their largest bus and took my husband and our guests on a pub crawl in Royal Oak. We filled that bus up no problem. We made pub crawl shirts and glow sticks for party favors. I had so many compliments on how much fun the party was. I had one person tell me it was very nice bus in comparison to others they have been on. Our driver Edward was excellent he was able to communicate effectively with me throughout the night. I'm sure my guests were obnoxious due to the alcohol and he was polite the entire time to everyone. He made sure we all made it back to our final destination. We have used D & D two times now. The first time was 3 years ago in Detroit for my daughters wedding we rented the limo. From the initial contact of setting up the limo to the night of the rental we were so pleased with everything of course they were the first call when we had another daughter get married October 12th. I contacted Scott Archer directly who not only set us up with the awesome limo for the wedding party but also 2 shuttles for guests to go to and from the venue to the hotel. Everything went so smoothly. The busses are clean and new. The drivers are personable and fun. We look forward to hiring their services for more in the future. I had to change dates due to a funeral and they were very accommodating. They k.i.t. up until the date of service. I forgot my driver name, I think it was Darryl, but he was awesome. He was on time, very courteous and professional in his attire and behavior. His driving was great as well, we all felt safe. The vehicle was nice and clean: I rented the stretch Lincoln limo. The only thing I noticed was the carpet coming up and was bunched up, but it wasn't an issue for us. I had no issues with payment, but I was under the impression I could pay the balance with my credit card, but I couldn't and had to go to the ATM at 2am; I should've inquired before the date. I can't say enough nice things about this company. I worked with Scott during the quote process and he gave me such a great deal for an awesome 15-person party bus that I rented for my best friend's bachelorette party. Dave was our driver and he was absolutely perfect. He arrived 15 minutes early and was just as excited as we were! He also went out of his way to take pictures of our group and help carry coolers/bags to the bus for us. If you really want to make his night, pack him a brown bag-dinner of your leftover party appetizers, he'll just adore you and your group! I hired D & D to provide a SUV with a chauffer for my son's prom. They provided excellent service at an excellent price. His driver, Ali arrived early with a clean Cadillac Escalade. He was very courteous. I also like the fact that they would not add any stops to my son's route without parental approval. The only issue was that the driver didn't have a red carpet as requested. However, this is something they don't normally provide but were willing to do so for me (so I would give them 4.5 stars, but since I can't I won't hold it against them). Everything was excellent! We are so glad that we booked D&D for our wedding transportation. Our driver was very courteous and friendly. He delivered us exactly where we needed to be at the perfect time. We didn't even notice that we were too early to our event because he did laps around town as to not interrupt our fun and make us arrive perfectly on time. The bus itself was beautiful. The people at D&D have always taken care of me. Making reservations is quick and easy. The drivers are well dressed and professional. The cars smell showroom clean. Seeing that I was a tall person, right away he adjusted the seat to give me plenty of room. He asked if I would like to listen to the ball game or maybe some music. Dave was great as always, and handled our round trip to the airport. Our flight was crazy-early, but I knew from experience that we would be picked up on time and have no problem getting checked in on time. Since D&D had our flight information, they were already aware of our delay on the return.
