We unfortunately used this company for our July 13th wedding. This company had the absolute worst handling of management and customer service I have received ever. My husband booked them a couple months prior for our wedding, we initially booked the wedding for a 22-person bus from 11:30am-5:30pm so for 6 hours. Two weeks prior to our wedding I personally called and spoke with who I was told was the owner named John about upgrading the bus as we wanted to accommodate more people, 26 to be exact and that the times had changed from 12:30pm-5:30pm to which I was told this would be no issue to change buses and since we now only needed the bus for 5 hours instead of 6 hours there would be no additional charge.
The day of my wedding my first meeting of our driver was instantly offhand. I answered and said hello to him to which he responded "I need to be paid (his tip) and get this signed, we have to get going" I sarcastically responded "I'm Katie, it's nice to meet you too and my sister is grabbing the money and Ill happily sign that for you" he then apologized said he was stressed out and that he had a party of 50 cops who had to be picked up after our wedding that he could not be late for. So that was the first impression.
After getting all of us girls to the church, he was then to go pick up the guys and put in the wrong address into his GPS, this resulted in the groom, fathers and groomsmen being 45 minutes to the ceremony. Now, to be fair my husband and I both truly do understand human error, it happens we get that. However, the following hours after our ceremony before being dropped off at our reception of how we were treated, our bridal party was treated and even our photographer was nothing sort of awful. After our ceremony, which was supposed to start at 2pm and didn't end up starting until 2:50, we were going downtown to the DIA for pictures but since it was so late our driver was strongly trying to talk us out this, instead wanting to go somewhere closer and even told us his boss told him not to take us to Detroit. We were again notified that he had a very important party after our wedding that he could not be late for. Which as this point, I was so upset I did not care about the other parties? I did not feel it was just to sacrifice our wedding photos for his error. So, he did take us downtown, after a few choice words between him and my husband. Once down there we were asked how long we would be, if we had enough photos yet, and quite mockingly asked "if we were satisfied with the photos?" I was appalled.
Our reception started at 6pm, we got there at 6:20pm exactly. Did we go over on our set time of 5:30pm drop off? Yes, but only because we had the delay of 45 minutes from the ceremony starting late.
After our honeymoon we made the call to Emmanuel whom told us he was part owner and the manager. This was the part that was truly the most upsetting to me, the way our complaint was handled was awful. We told Emmanuel everything above and his response was immediate defense mode. He verbatim told us if we were this upset imagine how upset the party after us was, that we were being selfish in not caring about the parties his company had that day, that he never should have agreed to upgrade our bus for us (he at one point even said none of this would have happened if he didn't, which I am still not sure how that would have solved anything?) he told us we went over on our bus time without any additional charge (which again was only because of the lateness to the ceremony, because without that we would have been dropped off to the reception right on time) He informed us he was aware that his driver was "rough around the edges" and that he was so flustered because of his lateness that he took it out on us, Emmanuel did admit that and halfheartedly apologized for that component only. Other than that, the sheer lack of empathy or understanding was so disappointing. He then kept asking what we were looking for? To which he answered his own question with a let me guess you want money? This was not our goal, the company did get us from point A to point B, so I guess you can say they "did their job" but to be talked to so condescendingly by the person who owns the company was unbelievable. After realizing us telling Emmanuel about our complaints with his company's service was getting nowhere, my husband was trying to wrap up the call when Emmanuel, as what seemed to be a pity offer, said we could get a free limo for 3 hours of our choice (as if we would want to partake in their services ever again) but that he "wasn't in the business of losing money so that was what he could do."
I would strongly advise against using Top Luxury Limo, we felt as if our business was so inferior compared to whatever else they had going on that day. The much unnecessary anger and stress this caused on our wedding day I wouldn't want another other couple to endure. read more
