I am very happy to discover this place out…read morebecause usually if I wanna mail something off I always drive all the way over to the Almeda Mall area and even though the drive isn't that much of a drag. It's still pretty far considering all of the lights I pass when getting to my destination. It is right next to Food Town, and even though it may look small from the outside looks are very deceiving because it fooled me I thought it was going to be a tiny building, but instead it was really big on the inside. The staff is one guy; he is very nice and friendly. He didn't charge me anything to tape up my package (for Chegg), and he gave me the best options to send my gift packages off. He also allows you to see the information that he is putting in, so if what you are saying he doesn't understand your accent. You can see if he is spelling the location right. Yesterday, I went in and I was telling him the location I wanted to send my package and since the guy was hard of hearing he couldn't understand what I was saying, and I was saying it loud. So, he showed me the screen and I just corrected him. The one on Almeda isn't like that; you either have to write it out or if they understand the computer app will verify it. Also, they sell Stamps, small boxes, you can do notary, and mailing here too! They don't just ship local, but all over the US, and countries too! But, this place doesn't have any public restrooms (though Food Town does), and they also sell local pure honey from Santa Fe, TX. I thought that was cool!

The workers are always friendly, helpful, quick and efficient. It's typically well staffed and the line usually moves pretty quickly. The only thing I don't like is that they're not open on Sundays.

I had this center bookmarked fo a while, but had waited to make a trip. They have pretty good hours Monday - Saturday. All of my recyclables this time were easy lifts, so they have a drive-thru where you stop, and somebody comes and gets everything out of the car for you. Like a grocery pickup. They just do everything while you wait in your car. They also have the ability to take larger equipment. Some of those things you have to set an appointment for and certain items have to be paid for for them to take it. It's usually a very small fee just for disposal costs and things like that. Entirely worth it for whatever it is you're trying to do. Nothing here is expensive. Highly recommend if you're looking to offload some extra stuff that you're not using anymore without just chucking it in a trash can. They also have paper recycling and shredding services available. Check out their website and see if they'll take what you have.

The bay holds three cars and they have designated spots for each vehicle. You must stay in your car and let the attendants take whatever you're recycling out of your vehicle. One good thing about Stella Roberts is that they take all sorts of items/materials. On my last visit, I dropped off old electronics and cell phones. They also take the typical materials like plastic, aluminum, and paper. They accept large appliances and hazardous materials, but I believe you have to make an appointment first. You can drop off items during non-business hours. They have large bins positioned just outside of the drive thru gate for old clothes, books, and small appliances. I like to drop off old clothes and shoes here for textile recycling. I'm grateful for the bins since it's difficult for me to visit during business hours.
