Came here for a pedicure and I am very pleased with the result. A nice gentleman did mine and I thought he did a great job. I got a French pedicure and I loved the way he shaped the white line. This was a fast and efficient pedicure. If you are looking for long and leisurely you might not be happy. I loved the chairs for the pedicure. Does not except credit cards ... they have an atm machine that charges for you to take money out. Walked in for a pedicure yesterday.. sat under the dryer longer than my pedicure service. 35$ for a 15 minute pedicure, if even that long. Zero stars if I could. As a professional in the industry, speaking only from my personal experience and opinion with my "nail tech" at D&K Nails of Easton Pa. I think you need to go anywhere else unless you're ok risking getting someone that will treat you like an animal waiting to be plucked, pruned and shipped down the conveyor belt. I would be ashamed and completely embarrassed to treat another human beings the way that I was treated. And in a paying, customer service environment nonetheless. My friend and I were given a prepaid gift for our Mother's Day gift. When my friend and I arrived, there was ZERO communication on what we were able to get. We were rushed through the entire process. There was nothing but irritation, frustration and again ZERO and when I say zero, I mean zero communication from this woman. I showed a picture of a color (pink with glitter) asking for their closet match. I was literally just stared at in frustration. Waiting for me to just choose one from the swatches after already being told to pick one off the shelf and rushed to our seats. There was so much confusion and no clear communication of anything. Once we found out our husbands paid for gel, imagine the anger on my "nail techs" face when I had to pick from the GEL color swatches. I asked for glitter about 7 times, my exact sentence, very politely was "I just wanted to make sure you know that I want glitter over top" since she was unresponsive the first 6 times I asked. And I was yet again just stated stared at. She treated me like a piece of meat she was prepping for food service. If my foot moved an inch out of her liking she would push my foot down with her fist as if she was kneading dough. Not trying to give me any kind of relaxing massage, flopping and moving her hands around like she was prepping meat. She was so annoyed with me she moved my hand off of the buttons of the back massager that I was trying to adjust, she moved my hand and turned it off. So I was no longer allowed to get any ounce of enjoyment out of this appointment. My friends nail tech who spoke English and went in and out of speaking directly to me when I was asking a question about the pink color but never once helped communicate anything at all or help me so everyone can be happy and things can move efficiently. I was so uncomfortable and unsettled when I left. When I got home I looked down at my toes I truly could not believe my eyes when I looked closer and realized there wasn't any glitter. As a professional I had to let them know it was unacceptable service. So I tried called but it was busy...and busy...and busy. Our appointment was at 5. We were out by 5:30...they closed at 7pm. I called multiple times and got a busy signal repeatedly, finally after closing 7:05pm, someone picked up. I explained myself, they asked what I wanted to do, I said I'd like to be refunded and they weren't willing to refund me. So I said you know what, keep the money because it's not about that at all. I needed them to know how truly unprofessional and disgusting it is to treat people like this. I showed up with a friend to do something with never do for ourselves, I was supposed to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing pedicure. Instead I was treated like an animal, a piece of meat, whatever reason she chose to take her bad day out on me and ruining my entire experience. If you hate your job, get a new one. If you hate people, don't serve them. I recommend supporting smaller personally owned nail salons/techs. Unfortunately I cannot and will not ever recommend D&K anymore and I will make sure everyone that asks me will know about my experience. Our walk in was short. No scrubbing, very little filing. It hurt the tips of my toes. Horrible! The soak was less than three minutes before my salon technician started clipping. It really wasn't until I got home and took my socks off that I still felt the sharp dry skin was still there. Im 60 years old. I have my feet done at least 1 once month. No massage. No lotions. I have had much better service at all the other shops in Easton. No worth the money read more

I got my nails done here, I was actually very upset by the outcome of my original nails after being done by a tech here. I told her I did not like them, and she explained that they will grow out and look good after a couple fills. After looking at them closer, I went back in and asked to have them reshaped at least. The tech who reshaped my nails was understanding and reshaped them for me. Although the previous tech did not mention it when I expressed that I did not like them. One person here ruins the whole salon for me. Each time I get a pedi from Tan he aggressively scrubs my skin so hard with the exfoliating gel, and over an anklet, that my tattoos raise from irritation. He's smashes back my cuticles then cuts them so fast he catches skin over and over. He's in such a rush that all of my French lines are crooked and now my toes look wonky, nor are they thin but not like he asked if they were okay! For my mani, the polish was done fine and I love the color, but when I asked him to shape my already square nails, more than half are now rounded. No one is perfect and nails don't always come out right the first time, but these mistakes would not have happened if he took his time and gave a little more care. It is sad to say I don't think I'll be back, everyone else there does a great job. read more

I went here today for a pedicure and got seated promptly. The gentleman then came over and got me and I sat in the comfy pedicure chair. You can set the settings for a massage and recline the chair for comfort. The massage was good but he could've been a little firmer and paid attention. He kept looking around at what was going on in the shop. The foot bath also could've had an increase in the jets for a better circulation of the foot bath, it was very weak. Overall it was a nice experience and my nails look awesome. He did pay meticulous attention to the cutting of nails and buffing my heels and trimming the cuticles. I would definitely go back! The place was clean with friendly atmosphere. I don't understand all the bad reviews for this place!! And let me tell you, I am very picky with my pedicures!!! I had not been to this salon in several years and thought I would try it again. I was happy about the prompt service and respect to my appointment time. However, I was very disappointed at the lack of attention and quality in my pedicure. The attendant was not rude but made no effort to make me feel comfortable. As he did my cuticles he was not the least bit gentle and in fact it was somewhat painful. I have had many many pedicures and this was by far the most disappointing. The polish was poorly done, when he got me up out my chair to dry elsewhere, he never told me where to go. Although they obviously put money into the shop since I had been there, they forgot to train their people. I am really quite sad it didn't turn out to be a good experience. I used to get my nails done here quite often. But it can get alittle pricey on what you get. I happened to get UV gel with a tiny gem & I got my nails shaped & it came out to 60. I got all of that at another place without the gem and at the other place I paid about 45$. But overall the staff is very nice and helpful and clean! read more

2 hours later and the girl did a good job on my pedicure but when it came to dip/sns struggled until close. Not only did she cut my cuticles several times, the staff that seemed willing to help and translate proved otherwise. One man even started to help, then tried to say my nails should look round like jelly beans, and when tried to politely ask for what I wanted, he got up mid conversation and walked way. Then when I went to pay I noticed it looked like they dry brushed each of my nails like a child didn't put top coat on correctly at all. Luckily 15 mins to close another man helped her correct the issue. Not to mention I have dip nail acrylic stuck all underneath my nails and cuticles. Went to the nail salon on my lunch. I walked in and sat down. Everyone looked at me but no one person acknowledged me. I sat there at least 15 mins. In this 15 min time span, 4 Caucasian women walked in. They didn't even have the chance to sit down before the managers of the salon jumped to service them. I kindly brought it to their attention that I am waiting. The only male working in the salon turned and said to me "do you have an appt?". Ok first of all you didn't even ask me if i had an appt when I first walked in. You just overlooked me like I was not there. After he said that he turned around and walked away. (Mind you I am on my lunch. Only had a few mins to sign back in.) I stand up and leave thinking I will call and deal with this when I get home. I get home and call, the lady that answered the phone asks me what do I want her to do about it. She then stated that it was his word against mines and he stated something different. I told her that the customer is always right. She said "OH really?" I kindly told her that I was going to but the shop on blast. If I had my way she will never see any money from a person of color ever. I am posting this and tagging the salon. If you know like I know, don't ever go there. This is the best service I have ever received at a Nail Salon. I was visiting my family in PA, and just so happen I wanted to visit this decorative/elegant salon. It is very nice compare to PL nails (my cousin used to take me here when I was in high school). I like how the workers speak ENGLISH and not another language. At PL nails, I feel like I cannot communicate with them....I recommend going to Kim or Liu. They are real sweet, and easy to talk to. I love DK nails!!!! read more

I've tried to make last min appointments for a job interview that I had the following week (and by last min I mean 2 days in advance ) and they tell me no he can't do it! The only reason I liked going to this place was because of Lou, but the rest are not professional at ALL, called in to ask if Lou was available for a pedicure they said at 3:30 go in at 3:30 and they said oh no you didn't say Lou he's not available, that was my breaking point for that place will not go there again. I made an appointment for acrylic tips for a friend and I at 4:15 and we weren't seen until 4:45. Then, the lady who did my nails asked me what length and proceeded to cut them way shorter than what I'd asked for. Then when I told her they were short and too thick, she said "girl, let me finish" and did not fix them. This used to be my favorite nail salon. Bad experience I arrived at 5:30 for a pedi and mani and there were two ppl waiting. They did my mani starting around 6. When done they Told me no time for pedi even though they do not close for another 20minutes. I would have had them do my pedicure instead of The mani if I new they weren't gonna have time. Also girl was rude when I asked her to make my thumbs even she had one round and the other square. I also wanted French manicure and she told me they take to long!!! Your in the nail business I don't understand why they don't want my money for extra work. I have had many pedicures all over nj and pa and this was one of the worst. The woman I got was so distracted by the tv the entire time she skipped the massage completely. When I told her she skipped the massage she tried to convince me that she did it. She didn't use any lotion and right before she stared polishing she smeared some oil on the front of my lower legs. I have been to D & K Nails 5 times; 3 of the 5 my nails were done wonderfully. My other times my nails were horribly done. It was sloppy, either the polish did not cover the entire nail or it was all over my cuticles. I told the person who had done my nails that he had done them badly the first time and I expected he would pay more attention. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I called the salon and the person I spoke to did everything but take responsibility. She offered to do my nails again; however, I think I'll pass. read more

Said her nails looked better than they had with the guy she uses in NJ and was $15 cheaper too. She was warm and friendly and did a great job. My first visit was good. Kim was friendly, so I went back again and got a fill and a pedicure. A week later broke a nail, went back to get it fixed, waited 30 minutes, then a guy came over to me and said pick the color you had, turned around and he went to do a pedi.
