My nails are naturally VERY thin and flexible. Every time I have had a service here, I have always asked for my nails to be hand filed rather than drill filed due to how thin they are. Every time, my request has been ignored. Additionally, when I need my gel/dip nails removed, rather than a gentle soak off with acetone and polish remover, they will try to JAM ANOTHER NAIL TIP UNDERNEATH my nails to remove them and it is so painful!! And when I wince; the techs always act annoyed or surprised. My nails always end up red, rough, and/or torn. I thought these behaviors were normal and I lived dreading these parts of what are supposed to be relaxing services. Thought I was going crazy until I spoke and received a phenomenal service from a professional technician who works at a different salon, and she told me that these poor practices are due to laziness and because a salon wants to get as many people in and out as they can. I 100% am convinced this is the case. Please be aware that this is not ok, and find another salon to go to if you receive similar treatment! Now I know better and will not be back.

I was pressed for for time and decided to leave and come back today. When I came back today, I was told that it would be two hours until I could be seen so I made an appointment for two hours later and came back again. I am so glad that I didn't just give up and decide to go somewhere else. Anna took care of me and saw my thick acrylic nails and read my mind and suggested that I get the acrylic taken off and try the dip nail polish. I was hesitant because my nails are so thin to begin with I was afraid taking off the acrylic would just leave them so weak that I would lose all the nails that I've been finally able to grow out. She was so gentle and took her time.able to get the majority of the acrylic off and was able to file them so they looked flat and beautiful!
