Avoid Domingo and D&L Tree Service and Landscaping. Domingo pulled a bait-and-switch scam on me twice, and is now harassing me for a third. Both times, he agreed to a price, then showed up and demanded more money before starting the job. His written agreement clearly said "removing weeds and haul away," but he never hauled anything away, HE NEVER EVEN BROUGHT A TRAILER! There are piles of mulch and weeds still on my property, and now he wants more money to finally complete the work. It was obvious he planned to upsell and charge extra after arriving. This is not an honest way to do business. There's a reason why Domingo and D&L are not recommended by Yelp and why Yelp doesn't back their work. You're better off hiring a company with verified reviews and a real reputation. I highly do not recommend. Plenty of better, trustworthy landscaping services out there. read more

We needed our sprinklers replaced in our front yard due to a massive leak. Domingo gave us a fair price and the estimate was free. The job was completed on time and the work was superior! Domingo was very friendly and efficient. He also removed about 10 plants, some very large, from the front yard that I did not like and took them away. Domingo was attentive and responsive to all of my requests. Not only did he provide a free estimate, but he and his son completed the work that very day. His work quality was exceptional and thorough. He replaced a sprinkler valve and capped off another that had been leaking forever. He also got all the way under a concrete slab to remove an entire tree trunk that another service said they got years ago but kept growing back. Best of all, his work cost me a third of what everyone else said it would cost. I don't know why I have to keep learning that family owned businesses are the way to go, but here I am. I had to hire another irrigation company to come out and fix the mess that D & L Tree Service and Irrigation created. He found Domingo (the owner of D & L) had tightened one of the sprinkler main plastic tubes too tight causing it to crack thereby a brand new leak. I had a pay an additional $300 to a local company, Mosqueda Brothers Irrigation, but they did an absolutely outstanding job fixing the damage caused by Domingo/DL Tree Service. read more

Quoted us $65/month for weed removal, tree trimming and general maintenance. He's seen our yard before, so he should know what that involves. When he got here, he suddenly changed it to $180 to handle any trees over 5 feet tall. 5 feet! What trees are that short and need regular maintenance? Then when he was finished, we noticed he didn't even get all the weeds. $65 for 15 minutes of half-assed work. Avoid at all costs. read more

Domingo came to put in a new valve for my sprinkler system. He found that not only was the old valve defective but he showed me that there was 3 pipes leaking my my system.
