They recently started offering Plumbing services and my first experience was so-so. As part of the maintenance plan, you now get a plumbing inspection every year. The plumber who came out today was very nice but missed an issue that I pointed out to him. He did have his Master Plumber that was hiding in the truck (? Seemed odd haha) come take a look. There was some estimate issues leading me to think the installation of a toilet would be $1,000 for labor alone. However, the owner was quick to rectify and look into the issue personally once he became aware, and was very open to feedback on how to make the estimates more clear. I would still like to see them itemize the cost of materials in the future, but it seems to be something at least on his radar. I would give this company a chance if you're having issues. They seem to truly want to do the right thing by the customers and their employees, which is important.

The estimator advised it should cost between $3000-$3500 with my discounted labor rate as a result of a maintenance contract I have. I get the written estimate the next day and it was for a 40 gallon water heater and the cost was $4,100 with my discount. In the meantime, I got 2 other estimates for a 50 gallon water heater for $2,395 and $2,250. It seems as though this company is not giving the customer the promised labor rate discount they promise when they have you sign up for a maintenance contract. Either that, or they just inflate the actual price to make up for the discount. Either way, I am now looking for a new HVAC company with honest pricing and accurate estimates.

I first discovered this honest, hardworking, and professional plumbing service when our church had an issue that several plumbers either didn't want to take care of or wanted to charge the church in arm and a leg for. I fully understand that in plumbing there are elbows to be had but we were not about to give up our arms and our legs. The pastor of another church said Hempsey was the plumbing contractor to use for home or for business and that he trusted them completely That word trust really matters! Honesty really matters! The ability to take on difficult plumbing tasks or the simplest most minor issue that an elderly individual or disabled person might need help with matter. This weekend a problem arose with plumbing and I knew who I had to call. The call went out to Hempsey and I couldn't be happier. All in all the guys were wonderfully kind and friendly. It was done all in a day on NYE.. We wound up having to replace a water pipe too so that was added to our estimate as agreed. They were courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and local.. I will highly recommend them to anyone I hear has plumbing issues.
