We found out that our bathroom shower wasn't sealed correctly and were faced with having to re-do our bathroom. We started the process looking at Floor and Decor which was fine but felt impersonal. My husband suggested we stop by Glendale Tiles and Tops which is in our neighborhood. It was there that we found our dream tile for the shower statement wall. Martin and Abel were the team who did demo, tiling, constructing the new shower etc. They were lovely to work with. Martin is a very talented tile installer and Abel was his right hand man, always professional and hard working. They set up and protected our floors every day, were very clean and considerate and maybe most importantly did an excellent job. The electrician and the shower door guys that were brought in by the team were also very kind and good at what they do. Whenever we hit a snag or problem - for instance we had to figure out placement of the mirrors and that was a bit of a puzzle, Sam would come by noodle on the problem until we came to a solution. We ended up buying a vanity base and Sam made the vanity top - we used the same quartz on the shower bench, looks great. I couldn't be happier with the final result. It's truly a dream bathroom and we had a wonderful experience.

John was the first person I spoke with over the phone, and he patiently listened as I explained our unique kitchen layout. To create a more open walkway between our kitchen and living room, we needed an extra tall, narrow 30" x 80" European-style refrigerator. As it turns out, the only freestanding model sold in the U.S. that fit our requirements is made by the German brand Liebherr. The frustrating part was that although other retailers near us offered the refrigerator for sale, none of the showrooms had the model on display. But guess who did? Snyder Diamond! So we made our way to Pasadena, and we're glad we did. Linda warmly welcomed us and immediately took us over to the Liebherr refrigerator. It is beautiful, well built and checked every box on our wish list. Linda was very knowledgeable and generous with her time. We ended up walking around the showroom with her, picking her brain about everything from kitchen fixtures to appliances. When I mentioned I was a coffee addict, she even offered me a cup from their built-in Miele machine--a small gesture that reflected the personal service we received. The showroom itself is beautifully organized, with a huge variety of high-quality appliances and fixtures. We highly recommend anyone planning a kitchen or home renovation to visit this family-owned business. They've been in business for decades, and have an interesting history to share. In the end, being able to see the exact Liebherr model in person gave us the confidence to make our purchase. It didn't -- and we only found out because we had to follow up ourselves four days later. Jesse wasn't available, so Denisse Trejo informed us the items wouldn't ship until the end of May, a full month behind schedule. We had to cancel the order because the delay puts our entire installation timeline at risk. Jesse should have verified stock availability before taking our order. Instead, we were given information that turned out to be inaccurate, with no proactive communication about the delay. This level of service is not acceptable, and we hope steps are taken to prevent this from happening to other customers. We ordered from Fergusson - no issue.

Manuel is fantastic! We talked a couple times and got an initial idea of what we wanted to do. Then he came to measure and talk a bit more so we could refine the project. We are not starting our project just yet because of timing but once we say yes, I'll come back to talk about that experience. From the beginning Manuel was challenging to get ahold of (no responses on emails mostly). Work started a week later than we had agreed on and Initially the project was supposed to take 3 days - demo, install, finishing- and it was suggested that it could be done in one week. The project started September 25 2024 and was finally finished November 15, almost 2 months. During demo we had to ask them to stop because they did not tape off the space and spread huge amounts of dust throughout our house that we ended up needing to do lead and aesbestos testing to move forward (not to mention, I had to take a day off of work to clean up the mess created). We had to call and text and basically beg them to send people out to finish the work and we could tell we were a very low priority- mostly working Saturdays, canceling multiple times after committing to dates, unwilling to commit to days until a day or two in advance, etc. He pretended he would work around our schedule but if that was the case, this work would have NEVER been completed. I canceled plans 3 times during this process to make myself available to get this work done. After demo, I think they realized this job was more complicated than originally anticipated but instead of telling us that, Manuel just kept us guessing, unsure if the timeline had changed- he did not want to communicate specifics with us which we would have really appreciated and welcomed. We learned quickly that they were not particularly respectful of our space so we began taping up our own plastic space dividers to keep dust and fumes out of the rest of our living space. The workers were very nice and I believe the issue is with management rather than the workers themselves. In the end, the work is nice enough which is why I give 2 stars instead of 1. The finished work was absolutely not worth the headache and displacement we experienced to get it done. It was a truly painful experience. I have other cabinetry projects I would like to do but will absolutely not be hiring MJ Custom cabinetry again to do the work.

He even pulled the tiles to a display to show me what they looked like under different colored lighting. After some consultation, I was allowed to grab the tile sample I settled on to browse around the showroom and search for other combos I might like. He even showed me grout options (there are plenty!) They also offer services for custom tiling. I don't have a designer and I've never remodeled a bathroom before, so Richard's knowledge of current trends, molds, and flooring helped a lot with my decision making! 10/10 would recommend anyone I like to come here.
