We purchased new toilets from George's Kitchen and Bath several years ago. One of the toilet seats came loose and my husband couldn't find the part at Home Depot or ACE Hardware. We went there a week ago today, a Saturday morning. We were helped by a young woman named Tiffany. We asked her to get answers to several questions we had about James Martin vanities. We also asked for a quote on a particular brand of smart toilet. She said that she would next be in on the following Tuesday. We expected to hear from her. It is now a week later. Yesterday, I left a voicemail for her relaying the situation and asked for a call back. I have not heard anything. We've since purchased a toilet elsewhere and also purchased bathroom fixtures elsewhere. We were very disappointed at the lack of follow-up and we won't be returning. We worked with Sal, and he was super helpful, and knowledgeable, I honestly didn't know there was so much to take under consideration when buying bathroom fixtures. The showroom had a wide variety of kitchen and bath options which could be overwhelming but Sal took his time explaining all the options and helped us made the right decision. Our order was delivered sooner than then estimated time, appreciate the fast turnaround. They have dedicated parking but Palmetto St is a bit difficult to come in and out of with many cars parked on the street, so be patient. read more

They allowed us whatever amount of time we needed to look at the hardware. Mason was great at helping me to focus in on the styles that would work in the type of house we have and the look we wanted. He showed us several offerings by some of the brands. He gave us plenty of to think about. I came back about a week or so later to narrow things down to which set of fixtures for two bathrooms. After looking around a little more, Sal asked if I would like some help. After describing what I was hoping to find, he guided me to the collections that would be best for our project. He really knows the merchandise they have and wrote up the estimate and emailed me the next day. We came back a few days later and met with Mason again and made a few minor adjustments to our order. Both of the salesmen who worked on this project for us were incredibly good to work with. Actually, everyone on staff that we met was stellar. This project has been well served. read more

In the past, my wife and I purchased a plumbing fixture (pot filler) for the kitchen at our second home. We are aware of the quality products that they carry. We recently needed to have replaced a mixing valve for our Horus shower fixture and we went to George's for help. The fixture is made in France so procuring a replacement was a major concern for us. At George's, we met Kelvin who after a few days was able to contact Horus and order the part. When we were there, I asked him for a reference for a good plumber. He gave us a business card for Count-On plumbing and said we needed to talk to Kenny. When the part arrived and I picked it up at George's, Kelvin wasn't there but the salesperson confirmed Kelvin's plumber recommendation by saying, "Kenny is best!". Kelvin was right. We were in desperate need of changing the faucet handles for a vintage bathroom sink in our 1925 Spanish style home. We are not experts in old homes by any means, and have always trusted carefully chosen contractors and vendors to steer us towards wise upgrades when necessary that preserve the character of the home. This has largely served us well. We put our trust in George's hands to help us select faucet handles to match a very unique vintage sink, and discussed the issues extensively alongside many photographs we provided. Simply put, we are not happy with the finished product (photo attached). When we communicated this to George's, we were told that there was nothing to be done because their recommended finish was nonrefundable custom order. We're talking about a dozen trips & phone calls in the span of several months, people. No high pressure sales, just good people and good products. Many of the items were in stock which was very convenient. They have curated a top notch selection of products that are well crafted, time tested & beautiful. Prices are reasonable & they carry a good range of items for all budgets (i.e. the garbage disposal was priced lower than the best online price I found). Initially came here though a recommendation from my contractor for a bathroom remodel project. From my first visit just browsing, until the finished construction of our bathroom remodel, it has been a pleasure working with Paynal here at the showroom. He asked me questions initially to get an idea of what we what we were kinda going for with our bathroom style and gave his recommendations and much valued input. We ordered all our fixtures soon after (toilets, sink, shower head, valve, faucet, etc.) Ordered everything once our contractor started construction which was expected to last two months. We received all our parts within a few weeks. Paynal was super responsive with all my calls and emails throughout the entire process. Near the end, my contractor forgot to check the specs on our toilet and installed the stop behind the toilet in a spot where it got in the way of the toilet keeping it from sitting flush on the door. Paynal could have been short and said simply that it was the contractors fault and leave me to deal with my contractor, in which he would be correct. But he still asked me for pictures of the issue and measurements so he could consult with his plumbers and recommend the next best fix if we weren't going to demo the walls and reinstall the water line behind the wall. And he did email me a solution with a shorter 90 degree elbow that would work with the space constraints. In the end, the contractor decided to do it right hand eat the cost to redo the water line. These things are bound to happen in construction projects. Sometimes things get overlooked but it's great when you're lucky to work with people like Paynal who will figure out solutions to a problem rather than just reasons why they can't help you. Anyway, I just wanted to give George's a good review because I had a really pleasant experience with them and I really like the end product for what we paid for. read more

I have been using them for last 20 plus years almost every time I found their staff very helpful and polite. This time I ordered two vanities from them. Both of them were delayed which I understand due to COVID. But they sent me different legs than one on floor. When I brought it up to their attention they said sorry it will cost you extra. Usually when people make mistake they tried to make it right. All they said was we will charge me extra and will give me 10% discount. We are completely impressed and thrilled with both the pre-purchase (make an appointment to avoid waiting and to ensure you get plenty of time with your sales advisor, the wait time for what we ordered was as promised (actually a week early), and the post-sale service (we had to exchange one thing that had an issue, and it was seamless). Communication with Jason was great. Yes, they're really busy, but they are responsive. Jason is knowledgeable about everything from the right fixtures for older homes to where and how they're made.
