I've tried a lot of nail places in Tyler, but this is my favorite. All of the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing and homey. The way the spa is set up makes it pretty private and cuts down on excessive noise since you're in your own room. Sal did my nails and he was such a delight to talk to and helped me get exactly what I wanted (which I was being kind of picky due to a work event I had the next day). One of the two owners also spent the time to help me find the colors I wanted. I got a lot of compliments on my nails. Also good to know is they have a student discount!!!! And complimentary beverages- water, soda, red/white wine, margaritas, etc. I definitely enjoyed drinking my class of Cabernet while getting my gel mani :) I'll be back! read more

I spoke to someone on yelp and was able to get available appointment times. I called the salon and the super friendly receptionist was great! We received a text when our agents were ready (10 mommies before our appointment time even) so we weren't hanging out inside. Everything was clean and sanitized. We choose our polish from a sample so, again, we weren't hanging out in public places. We were placed in a private room and the services were spectacular!! read more

Horrible SNS by Kasey. I just moved to the area and I got nails that were too thick, lumpy, and too long. I showed her several pictures with the length I wanted. When I asked her to go shorter she clearly was not happy. They also are wayyyy to wide at the end like corn chips on some of the fing. The other odd thing is the only bottle used throughout the whole process that was labeled SNS was the powder. It is a system to be used step by step using the SNS base, color, and top coat - at least that was the process in CA. Attached are pics (lighter color is the length I wanted) the blue nails are what I got. Oh, and they don't clean up cuticles, push back cuticles, or out lotion on your hands when finished. $40 - won't be back! read more

I had the best mani and pedi of my life here today. Tu did an excellent job on my feet. Great massage. Kimi seriously did the best gel ever. Ya know how sometimes nail techs can be kind of lazy and leave some spots unpolished? Not Kimi. She did a meticulous job. Went here today on my lunch break, very convenient, super clean and very nice in there! Atmosphere is amazing and very secluded, the staff was very attentive and nice! Stopped in for a mani/pedi and was greeted right away by a young lady and was excited to see the fabulous selection of polish choices. My technician, Christine was fabulous and provided me with some education and even fixed the mistakes made by a different salon. My pedicure was relaxing and in a semi private room so there was not a lot of chatter and loud televisions. This salon is clean, relaxing and they use great products(OPI, CND, Etc..not thr knockoff stuff). My nails have never looked better. I will be back! read more

I've been a regular for a few months now and I've just about had it with this place. I've been here too many times to find anyone that is even good enough to do them correctly. My nails have either peeled off, been caught on things, or just plain ugly. I recommend that no one go here if you want consistent nice looking nails!!! Ps don't even think about requesting them to redo them or give you a refund. They dont listen nor try to listen to understand what exactly you want done. They just smile and nod like idiots. My daughter and I visited to get pedicures and I was immediately turned off by the young man who apparently would be assigned to us. Although the woman who greeted us when we came in was very nice, it was clear right away that he didn't want to take care of us. He reported that he had a client who had scheduled an appointment which was 50 minutes from the time we arrived. He stated he couldn't do it and the lady in charge told him he had plenty of time. He was obviously upset. She showed us to two pedicure chairs where we should be seated but it was so uncomfortable with the tension between the two of them and his undeniable resentment that we just left. I just couldn't imagine spending any more time with this man who was acting less mature than the eight year old I brought in for a special treat. My daughter was frightened by his shocking behavior and was so relieved when I told her we would not be staying. Very disappointing experience. If you are looking for a relaxing pedicure, I would not recommend stopping here. read more

After about 15 years of using another nail salon here in Tyler, I decided to give D'lux, which is closer to my home, a try. It was a great experience. I had a gel manicure, an eyebrow wax, and a pedicure with Kassy. I recommend her work. The price was $12 less for the total treatment than what I paid at my former nail salon, and it took an hour less time. I did schedule my appointment in advance and there was absolutely no wait time. I am supporting D'lux Nail Salon in hopes that it stays open. My next visit is already scheduled. Thank you Kassy and staff for great service and efficiency. read more

I loved this place as it is 5 minutes from me and the prices are good. The only reason I have been hesitant to return some of the weird conversation the nail tech kept talking about I tried to be polite and say I don't agree with that belief but the conversation didn't end. I love how they do my nails though the people there are usually really nice just had that one weird circumstance. read more

Best nail spa in Tyler...hands down. The salon is clean and organized with beautiful décor that instantly makes you feel relaxed. I love the private rooms for pedicures because you can actually sit in peace and quiet and not listen to all the noise that comes when you have an open concept floor plan like most nail spas. The staff is awesome as well. read more
