TERRIBLE Customer Service and timeliness I just left a bad experience with Katy at the Pink Rose Non-toxic Nail Salon in Bullard Texas. Prior to my appointment I received a text from Katy saying she was going to be 20 minutes late. I reluctantly agreed, knowing it would push my own commitments back. I arrived at the salon on time, for my original appointment time. Katy stated she would be with me in a "few minutes". 25 minutes later, I asked how much longer it was going to be. She stated 5 or so more minutes. Finally, she was done with her previous appointment who had arrived late, which was the reason my appointment was pushed back. This salon has a strict on-time policy for clients; If you are late, late cancel, or no show, they cancel your appointment and charge you half the fee. When I stated that respect goes both ways, and asked Katy why the same on time policy did not apply to service providers, she became defensive. She stated she had let me know she was running late, and asked if she should have cancelled my appointment. I replied that she should have applied their stated policy to her previous customer who was late. Katy completely disagreed with this, and then said my appointment was cancelled. I stated that I completely agreed, and left the salon. I will not return, and definitely do not recommend anyone else patronize The Pink Rose Non-toxic Nail Salon in Bullard, Texas, either. read more

We recently moved to the area and my husband gave me a gift certificate to get a mani/pedi for my daughter's wedding. I scheduled my appointment and they got me right in. They were so very helpful, assisting me in choosing my services as well as the colors that would compliment my daughters wedding colors. I have never been to a salon where the service was so accommodating and attentive. They did a phenomenal job and my mani/pedi not only lasted through all of the wedding activities, the colors they helped me choose were absolutely perfect for the big day! Very professional and amazing service!! Thank you to Laura and Melanie for making this such a pleasant experience and for helping a mother of the bride a hit at the wedding! First time here and it was awesome. Kevin was my nail tech and he was friendly and did a great job. Just moved here from Dallas and was so happy and surprised to see a non-toxic salon so I had to try it. I suffer from hand and foot Eczema (probably from having chemicals on my hands and feet twice a month for the last 25 years) and decided that I was going to quit the chemicals for good. I got the 'Naked' mani/pedi and it was just what I needed and without the pressure to spend money on services I don't need or want. I will be back! Highly recommend the salon and ask for Kevin!! great concept and environment, wonderful people; however, the performance nail polish didn't last 24 hours and the performance toenail polish lasted only 48 hours. super bummed for the price and time spent. I really wanted a toxin free polish to be as suggested and long wearing. read more

Not the best pedicure I've ever had Wouldn't go back a second time Like the concept of the place though

I loved trying The Pink Rose and will be going back! Laura, the owner, recommended the Performance Polish. This lasted SO long compared to regular nail polish on my fingers and toes. I was able to get longer lasting polish, without having to get gel polish, so I was able to take it off at home myself. There is a local ventilation system at each manicure and pedicure station so I didn't feel like I was breathing in any harsh chemicals or particles. Overall, I'm a happy customer! read more

I have never been committed to a salon before, but WOW, I'm definitely a new regular of the The Pink Rose. I've finally found 'my place'. The decor of the salon is beautifully and creatively done, with pops of color and pastels throughout. I loved the cozy teal chairs with puffy pink pillows that replaced the typical 'massage' chairs you find in most salons. Brilliant move! Laura, the owner, knows exactly how to create a space that is welcoming, fresh, and vibrant. The ambiance is relaxed and casual, and I love that there are little personal touches throughout the salon, like a wall covered with framed photos of customer's pets, and an adorable portrait of the owner's dog Leo as well. The choice of a bath bomb in your pedicure water was such a cute touch, and I love that they sell them there as well! I'm definitely going to be picking up a few next month. Most of all, I love that this salon is committed to using non-toxic products. This is, hands down, the best salon in East Texas! read more

I had made a reservation that day and they texted me asking if they could push it back 2 whole hours.... i told them i couldn't and if they could squeeze me in, seeing as they'd only contacted me an hour before. They did not reply to my text message. When i had came in for my reservation they said they wouldn't be able to take care of me and to come in two days. The women at the front desk seemed oblivious and the nail tech wasn't trying to accommodate me at my reservation time. They had obviously taken too many walk ins and tried to make excuses for not taking me in. The nail tech asked the front desk girl "isn't that so weird", looking for an excuse to not take me, because they couldn't cancel me. Overall bad customer service and very unprofessional. I'd rather them tell me they had done an error on their part and recognized that they had overbooked themselves seeing as they're short staffed instead of lying to my face. Couldn't even offer a coupon for their mistake, or try to make sure that they could keep their business and assuring a content customer, just gave a sarcastic "sorry."
