Larry stated that he probably would not be able to get repaired that day and would that be OK with me. I said sure. Well, at about 3 in the afternoon he called to inform me that it was fixed and ready for pickup. Now, I saw quotes for the high $600's to near $900...my bill was $450! This is just my most recent example of what Supreme Auto has meant to me over the 35 or so years I have been a customer. Isn't that what everyone wants from an auto repair service and mechanic? Quality work, no surprises, fair prices, and above all, peace of mind I would say. Well, Larry and his team at Supreme have it in spades!! Their website home page says: "We take great pride in providing you with the best customer service around. We are honest, dependable and friendly. Our customers are our #1 priority and [we] strive to make each and every customer happy!". That is not just some sound-good, feel-good motto. That is what Larry and his team more than live up to...each and every day! He will make sure that you understand exactly what needs to be done to get you back on the road and running without doing other nice, but not necessary work just to create revenue. A hard-working, honest, old-school, and genuine person who knows his stuff. Go there...you will not be disappointed. Note: I noticed a 1-star reviewer said: "Disrespectful and incompetent. Unable to fix very basic issues." Not having any possible understanding of what the circumstances were with that review(er), I can only say that it stands completely opposed to what I and almost all others have experienced. My sense is that there may have been more to it than what was in the review.

The other two were just unreasonable and problematic. They caused us more money and a couple times I had to do a repair that I paid them to do. Rather than arguing with them I'd fix it and find a new mechanic next time. I haven't had to do that with Gary. Well, by 10:30 the very personable receptionist was calling to let us know this was a simple fix, found quickly (though it was causing my father A LOT of grief) and he could come get the Jeep any time. My biggest surprise, the price. Hundreds less than I expected. And because he is recovering from multiple surgeries and being robbed by our lovely healthcare system with out of pocket expense, this was such a relief. Even my parents go here when they don't take their cars to the dealership, and my parents are hard to please. Farm Car Care is always the cheapest in town. And just because they have the lowest prices doesn't mean the quality is cheap. They've been working on my cars for over ten years and I've never had a problem. In fact the last time I went there, I thought I needed new valve stems for my tires and Mike straight up told me mine were good. He totally could have sold me a part I didn't need, but he was honest! He comes back and says I failed because I dont have catalytic converters .... I thought this was a joke, however he was serious. At this point I am getting really pissed especially since the ODB2 passed but he failed me on the visual CAT check...? The funny part is that the same truck passed there 1 year ago .. I have a Kooks exhaust Green cats and headers i bought years ago and it wasnt a problem. He already put me in the system as compliance fail. I told him hes an idiot and went to another test station and they laughed and passed me with no problems. The shop was FarmCare in Rockville CT ....Stay away if anyone lives near by. The Subaru Dealer I went to had no issues. He also said I have fake cats and reprogrammed the ECU to pass emissions. I needed my rear bumper replaced after a another driver hit my car. I brought it to Olenders…read morebecause some people highly recommended them. The work was completed on my bumper and it looked okay. When I got home. I walked around my car and checked everything out. That is when I noticed there was paint residue on my new back tires and the lip of my rear alloy rim was bent. I know it was damaged by someone at Olenders because I had just checked my tire pressure the day before, and my rim was fine. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Olenders. You could bring your vehicle in to have one thing fixed, and end up leaving with something else damaged. Now I have to pay extra to have my alloy rim fixed or replaced.
