Hello everyone, I recently left a review about D. Miller Law and Associates, and after Darren Miller called me on the phone and talked with me at length, I now want to add to my review about the firm. Darren Miller is getting a bad rap about the firm. When you get to actually talk to him and he explains everything to you, you get a better understanding of how many cases he actually has, and it's easier to get a better picture. After I had fired them on Tuesday and he called me and we spoke, I'm now back with them and glad of it. Darren Miller is a God fearing man with a great family and law firm he built himself and worked hard to do it. He's got a lot of clients... And when you have as many as they do, you'll always have people (like me) complain about your case. They're not perfect, but then again, who is? He is a great guy and I really like him after our conversation. Even though my money is coming in a couple of months, he is going to help me with getting transportation now. I'm 67 and so tired of walking for the past 15 years and can never go fishing or camping the way I want to, and not just rot away in my apartment like I have for 10 years now. Life is too short and you need to get out and live it. He's personally going to front me the funds now and take it out of the case after the money goes through the process with Milestone Pathways. They are responsible for the money I've already gotten, not the firm. They pay out the money and that's what we are waiting for. I now backtrack on the previous comment I made, and give the firm a 5 star rating. Thank goodness he reached out to me and is doing what he's going to do for me. I was attacked by a pitbull and also my puppy. The owner of the dog first accepted responsibility for the dogs attack and then when I went to hospital and vet for my pup she stopped answering her phone and kept on hanging up on me .went to her house to try settle the vet bill and hospital bill and said her insurance would take care of it .she refused to give me information for her insurance . Even though police report ,animal control,and fire department came she denied the dog was hers ,they had the dog for over a month and denied ownership even after the came running out of her front door from inside her house.after seeing there was getting no assistance from her I got referred to D Miller and associates and they took full control of the situation,after my intake which was very informative and polite.i got contacted by miss Nashira Gonzalez my case manager and boy I have to say she got the ball rolling she immediately got me to see a Dr for evaluation And pain,scheduled me for therapy sessions, scheduled me with a counselor for PTSD and she has been in constant. Contact with me to make sure I am getting the treatment I deserve.miss Gonzalez is a very caring and informative person the fiem is very lucky to have . W my family and I would like to take the time to give a big shout out the the D Miller law firm .the went above and beyond my expectations . The staff was amazing and very courteous and caring.i cannot thank them enough for the outcome of our case and Bruno the pup had a t bone .once again this firm puts you first and makes sure you are taken care of. read more

Darren Miller stop with the foolishness. You chose to never address my complaint. Ramesh the managing partner ibtained money from my insurance company without my knowledge. I never hired this firm to represent me with my insurance company. You basically stole money from my insurance thinking I wouldn't find out. You then took the money from the third party insurance company and kept it without paying any medical bill. My son settlement amount is still with insurance company that you refuse to request or withdraw from the case so that I can collect. Ramesh is unethical as your self and your entire firm. Which forced me to hire another firm to sue your firm an have yall reported to The Texas Bar Association. I had a case and my Attorney was Anuj. He settled case in October, and said he could get me the amount we agreed upon before I would sign off on the settlement offer, but that was after i informed him that i had filed a complaint with the Texas bar. I still haven't been paid. Now he don't answer calls or text message. I have been calling the office every week since the middle of December and sent to the Reduction dept. They keep telling me that they are waiting for 1 remaining company to settle for 2500, but is being countered for 3300 by the company for the past month. Then Reduction dept tells me on the phone that they can accept that 3300 bid from the company if I accept 3k less on my settlement that anuj told he would get me in my pocket. Now Reductions/Accounting is in the same building and Anuj settled my case for 22k and got another 30k from my insurance and only offered me 15k in my pocket. That was why I filed the complaint with the Texas bar. After informing anuj via text, he replied and said he would get me 20k even if he had to reduce lawyer fees. Why would Reductions/accounting tell me 17k if they are trying to settle with the final company for 2500, but the company countered with 3300? That is a difference of 800 and this has been going on for over 1 month now. Thinking about filing another compliant with the Texas bar again. And I am pretty sure that they are making interest off my settlement that is sitting in escrow which I should also be getting that interest. I have also forwarded this message to the email address wecare@dmillerlaw.com that the company seems to include on there feedback to reviews like these and are all the same feedback to respond to the email so they can help resolve any issues, but nothing seems to get resolved. This has to be some sort of joke. UPDATE: Looks like I am getting the same response back to my review as all other negative reviews and confirmed that no one at the company bothers to read the reviews. I stated that I already forwarded this message to the wecare email address and still the response to my review says to send an email to the same address that I already sent it to at the time if wrote this review. Let's give an update. Initially, like any other relationship, personal or business, everything was on the up & up. Slowly but surely the disqualifying mannerisms begin to un-surface exposing the true scamming nature of their beast. Almost certain no other Law Firm would insist that the hospitalized parties insurance pay the premium of the at fault party! An ignored clients proactive stance disturbs front desk workers who are subjected to your polite, well addressed calls for the unreturned calls you've initially made. The vibe disturbing physiological domino effect this has is endless, like the ripples of a thrown stone disturbing the surface of a quiet lake. Even when you attempt to leave, they still want you to stay, though they treat you bad & complain about the work they volunteered to do to get themselves paid. Every hand involved seemingly had an ulterior motive and it doesn't correlate with the impression of genuine Authentic help, but more or less like out of country telemarketer assistance. If scoreless reviews were permissible, reassured, this experience deserves it. read more

hands down the worst law firm I have ever worked with. My name is Robert Griswold II. I already left two negative reviews on Google attempting to get someone to call me back. I have thousands of emails I have sent with minimal return and when I do get a return response there's so much misinformation that it makes my head spin. people almost 5 years and I have yet to get any definitive explanation as to when I'll be receiving any type of monetary award or how much I will be getting. After being told for several years that they had all the information that they needed to get me the maximum reward, when George reached out to me on December 28 of last year he informed me that there were additional things I would need to provide order to move forward with the maximum results financially. There's so many problems with my experience with this firm that for me to list them all I would be sitting here for a few hours. Lies and pacification. I work in the oilfield and gone from home a lot so I figured a lawyer would be needed to keep things fair. Into this a week and my phone calls go ignored, when they have called offering doctors for my son and wife nothing has materialized.... this evening one of the staff told me he would call me back,, well it's 18:03 and not a word. I signed docs to hire this shady AF law firm and have been completely ignored for "MONTHS". I had a case and my Attorney was Anuj. He settled case in June but I still haven't been paid. Now he don't answer calls or text message. I even went to their office on Thursday to speak with Attorney Anuj but Jennifer came out and stated the attorney accepted payout for bills and they are waiting on Accounting to send my portion. Now accounting is in same building and they don't know when they will bring check. It is now Monday afternoon and no check. I called on Monday to speak with Accounting but was told I couldn' t. I spoke with Jose and Luis who both hung telephone up in my face. Luis stated I couldn't speak with a supervisor because I wouldn't give my name or telephone number but I gave my concern. read more

We were recommended to D Miller by a family member and trusted they would handle my husbands case with care. He was struck by a women who ran a red light in December 2018. He suffered a broken foot that was NEVER taken care of. Marta, the person in charge of medical, has sent him to so many consultations yet no one has done anything! She never returns calls, never provides case updates and is extremely rude, she seems bothered when we call her! Since I haven't received full settlement payment yet, this will be a working, updated review as things go. Thus far, its been really bad. My settlement amount that I agreed to and signed a legal document for, keeps changing.. funny how it keeps going DOWN. This is AFTER the fact of the law firm completing, presenting and deducting their % , as well as their attorney's fees. My dollar amount keeps going down. This is something I have discovered, not them. Checks are sent with NO attached explanation or rundown of amounts. One check was $5,000 short. It was sent with no check stub, no explanation, no note that it was 5k. short. I had to call them and tell them. What if I hadn't? Would I ever have been notified it was missing? Zip codes have been wrong toy address TWICE for large checks. No matter that I've supplied my address no fewer than 7-8 different times. I currently have ZERO trust in this law firm's honesty and accountability. As of late, $600 conveniently disappeared from my LEGALLY BINDING, AGREED UPON AWARDS AMOUNT. Again, I found it- no one said a word. I am currently waiting on two large checks. On the event they match my legally-approved INITIAL SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT amount, I will update here that it all worked out. In the event its short, I am just getting started- not just with reviews, but legally. Let's hope for all involved that everything works out. I had surgery on my shoulder and then 10 days later I was a passenger in a vehicle that was rear ended. This was December 29th 2022. I called this lawyer and they took mine, my spouses and my aunt's claim. They send you to doctors that I was told they have a relationship with, so the medical portion will be reduced greatly. That is a lie. My husband went to chiropractor in our town, they set him up with and my aunt also. His claim was settled months ago. $4500, but after the medical and the lawyers cut he got a little over $1000. Chiropractor charged like 1000 a visit. He went 3 times. My aunt has yet to be compensated, yet her demand letter was supposed to have been sent months ago. I should have known better when calls weren't returned. When I would call and there would be a different person working on it because last person quit and I was actually told by an employee I am sorry I haven't had a chance to look at your file because another employee quit and I was just handed all these cases. Instead of continuing to be told we are waiting on records. I got the medical records myself and sent them to the attorney's office. I asked about my time off from work did they need a listing of time missed. I was sent the form to get my employers to fill out and send back. I should have listened to my gut. My shoulder surgery was to repair rotator cuff and a slap tear. It was repaired until the accident and MRI shows tore slap tear again. Dr. says with my age not going to go in there and fixing it. When I asked how long to heal I was told it won't heal just scar over. I am dealing with pain daily. Now dr. is saying scar tissue has built up from the injury and may have to go into to remove it. So I call the lawyer because on 10/11 I was called, (after me calling numerous times) and told a demand letter was sent because I got the record they were waiting for. I called today 10/26 and spoke with Monica an attorney there. She told me they are offering $9300 and basically said lucky you are getting that. ( That is before they pay their recommended doctor and themselves. I questioned that because of the severity of my injury, time lost at work and pain I continue to experience. She started yelling at me and saying we asked for medical records and you wouldn't give them to us. I told her you asked for ER records not records from my surgery, but I checked my emails and I had sent them the MRI's, the surgery records, so all that wasn't true. She continued to yell at me and my husband was in another room and could hear her yelling at me. Saying this is my fault and even with that info probably won't be able to get me more money so what do you want us to do? Plus it wasn't really that bad of an accident. I told her we were rear ended while parked and the car managed to move a full size 4 door pick up 5 feet, for which they have the video of it happening. She said they will not litigate this case because not worth it. I said I will get you the records, when I went to start sending them is when I found I had sent them with the exception of the physical therapy. This surgery was to end my pain, accident took any chance of that. I will always have the pain. I know this post will probably make them retaliate and I won't get anything. What kind of Attorney yells at her client. I was in tears afterwards. Go somewhere else. It is too late for me. My gut told me to not trust them when I was talking to different people, not for the different stages but at least 3 to 5 each stage because people kept quitting. read more

Very bad firm. Would never get call backs when they promised me they would, also would never update me on my case what so ever. The lack of communication was absurd and the settlement getting paid out was a convoluted deal as I barely got 15% of it. The lawyer is also taking more money than the client (me)in a rear end auto accident where I was found 100% not at fault. Mr.Miller will not budge on his price. On top of this he is charging me (from my measly 15% portion of the settlement) administrative fees as well as to reimburse him for gas and paperwork. This was a really bad experience overall. My case was handled poorly I wish I could give a zero star. I would leave messages no one would call back I was not informed of new developments ever. I would find out information for them and they would not use it. The guy that hit us from behind worked at a dealership and was driving one of the dealerships vehicles there was no license plate on the vehicle and the guy didn't have a drivers license. And also I would call and the people would be rude over the phone. My wife and daughter both have problems and were not compensated enough for the rest of their lives for what happened. These people treat you as a number not as a person . They say that they care about you, but no they don't. I called Thomas J Henry to handle my case at first somehow I was redirected to the Miller and got the least amount of money I have ever thought we were going to get. I blame Thomas J Henry, for directing me to this firm, and it was the unforgiving Worst lawyers ever these guys are totally unprofessional. I can't provide a rating at this time. I was only just now given the paperwork to be filled out. I'm still waiting on the attorney selected and approved for my state to call and evaluate my claim for clergy abuse. I will provide a review once I receive any info on the case and a solution was worked out. They did call me back in a timely fashion. I was transferred to a new lawyer because the one I signed up with didn't work with my state. The abuse from the clergy lasted over a year. The abuse took place in Morristown Tennessee. But I currently live in Pennsylvania. So I'm not sure I can file a claim because I live in a new state away from where the abuse happened. read more

My wife was involved in a hit n run accident in June 2018. And sustained some pretty bad injuries to her spine...that were not noticed at the time of the event due to the adrenaline she was experiencing. I contacted D. Miller and Associates in September 2018 when she started experiencing random numbness in her fingers (turned out to be a dislocated disc). We have been working with Ramesh, one of the Sr. managers in the firm. He has helped my wife get the care she needs, and has found the guy that hit her despite the cops not caring. Both were so very kind, sensitive, caring and just plain amazing as we worked through this early process, re-living a painful memory and making sure that my claim moves forward to no one else has to suffer the kind of abuses I and others have experiences at the hands of Scout leaders who were supposed to take care of us, not take advantage. If I had the option, I wouldn't even give them one star. I've had nothing but regret since day one of choosing to work with D. Miller and Associates. This place is a joke, and no one can provide me with a simple call back. Every time I call, they are extremely rude, promise a call back, and nothing ever happens. I call every 2-3 weeks and this has happened every single time. I understand the process may take longer than one might think; however, informing a client of the process along the way could be very beneficial in keeping clients. Now they have started to call me after receiving information from the insurance money. If I'm lucky, I MIGHT end up with $150 out of it. I've completely been taken advantage of as a client, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I understand the attorney has to make money out of the deal too, but come on. Never again. read more
