Was offered a coupon on Facebook for buy one get one free classic poutine showed up at the restaurant with a coupon three hours before they close and my coupon was not ordered. They were not able to scan it and I was not able to get my free poutine. The service was friendly the restaurant was very empty as we were the only table in there at 6 PM on a Saturday. We came in to celebrate my friend's birthday. The restaurant is absolutely adorable and so cute! It's bright with such fun candy colors. I love that they had booths and nice seating options. It was consistently busy with people dining in and take out orders. Our server Hannah was so kind and friendly. She did seem very busy so service was a bit slower than I would hoped for. I don't blame our server, but more help may be needed on the floor to help serve tables on busy nights as Hannah was running around working hard! The food was great! Our group had 3 different kinds of poutines and each one was so delicious and huge! Fries were crispy and toppings were plentiful. My friend loves her Meat Poutine and the Chipotle Chicken had great reviews too. I would get the veggie one again for sure. The tornados are upscale blizzards made with premium ingredients. The small was so BIG and could easily be shared. The portions are so generous with all the desserts. We are so lucky to have such a great option in NE Edmonton. Wow sugar! This was Definitely! DEFINITELY a sweet spot cafe! The menu was delightful, right off the hop I was engrossed in all the creative work they did with their menu and presenting the desserts. It's beautifully done. Service was alright, seeing as it was our first time here we didn't know if someone came to take our order or if we had to go up to order, and then when we ran out of water I had to go find the water jugs myself. So a little disappointing on that end. We went on a Thursday night and it was quite busy as well. Still got in without a reservation. And there is plenty of parking here in the Manning town centre which is convenient. We opted to try a little something from each category but definitely couldn't finish it all! The funnel fries weee the most interesting, very carnival food. We got the strawberry sauces ones. I personally enjoyed the Croffle the most, we got the dark chocolate and pistachio. And to finish it we were recommended The Hidden Gem, which was a crepe with a lava cake wrapped inside topped with Oreo crumbs, strawberry, banana, Belgian white and chocolate. The fruit on this one was refreshing paired with all the sweet we had going on but the lava cake was just too much for me. Definitely go to split to Hidden Gem it's big! Oh and did I mention like everything we ordered came with a side of ice cream! We also ordered their virgin mojitos, the blue lagoon and strawberry were really tasty. Stopped in to pick up some Red Velvet cake and a milkshake to go. Service was fine and the decor is pretty in a Zumbo's Just Desserts kitchen kind of way. Place was dead empty (around 2 PM on a Friday). Point of sale device screen forces you to choose a tip or manually opt out of the screen while server stands over you; tip choices start at 15% and if you've perused their menu, you know you'll be paying top dollar for that milkshake -- total was $25.24 with 15% ($3.29) on $21.95 to prepare a takeout order. At least they have real milkshake straws (if you live in Edmonton, you know). Surprisingly, no bylaw officers descended during our visit. Speaking of the milkshake (vanilla) it was certainly tasty. No one asked if we wanted the whipped cream on it or not prior to serving (we would not, but few places actually think to ask). I had a couple of sips and liked it OK but it was quite thin so I left the remainder to my spouse. He put it in the freezer once we got home to see if its consistency would improve. If you are keen on thick milkshakes, you may be put off by paying three times the price of a DQ medium for a thinner product. Spouse was also a little taken aback by the echoing emptiness of the place, but we were only seated for the time it took to prepare the items (10 minutes). Red Velvet cake came in a giant plastic container and looked impossible to consume in one sitting for one person. Cake was drizzled with a vanilla sauce and had an attractive appearance. Son ate half on arrival and half remains in the refrigerator the next day. I tried a bite and it was definitely well made, with a strong dark chocolate flavour to the cake itself and a pretty unassuming frosting between layers. The vanilla sauce is very sweet. If you are keen on ordering a whole Red Velvet cake, prepare to fork over $110.00. It's possible that one day I could return to try the savoury menu. Hard to say, since there are an Opa! and a Chopped Leaf right across from this location and I am much more likely to go there. read more

Googled this before I went to check it out and was totally boggled at what to order as there are numerous amazing desserts to try. We settled on Lotus buttercream and cheesecake milkshake, sticky toffee pudding cake and vanilla ice cream, and a double chocolate scoop. We had EXCELLENT service with the server bringing samples to try. WOW this was an incredible desert place! Apparently they have burgers, poutine and hot dogs too. My only advice is you must try and go hungry. read more
