I wasted almost 6 months waiting around for a "training program" that never happened! It was pushed backed once and I accepted it and was willing to wait for the next opportunity.( I worked there as front desk in place of working as a stylist , which that is a whole other issue I could go on and on about) Mind you, only getting paid $15/ hour for the work they had me doing, picking up after their stylists and doing everything for them but the hair. I found out I was pregnant, let them know as soon as I felt comfortable, around a month from when I found out, and from that moment I knew my chances of still being considered for the training were low. They initially told me I could go through with the training or push it to the following year after my maternity leave. The owner and manager took that option from me and told me I could start next year or be an assistant for the holidays. Mind you I am fully capable of working in this field, regardless of being pregnant. AND STILL NONE OF THAT HAPPENED! I worked my last shift on a Friday, my next shift was a Wednesday and the manager cowardly called me the morning of and fired me, with no warning. Coincidentally I was fired after the manager went on her almost 3 week vacation, while I worked all of her hours. ALSO THE SAME WEEK I WAS FIRED THE GIRL I WAS SUPPOSED TO TRAIN WITH ORIGINALLY STARTED THAT WEEK.How coincidental is that!!! The "well" timed termination and unjust reasonings behind their firing me. Says all it needs to! Claiming I "didn't take the trash out one night" and " I was leaving early" Even though all my timestamps show me leaving after all stylist were finished. I performed everything to the best of my ability and made normal human mistake throughout the way. All of this to say... all new stylist( or even interested already working stylists) the favoritism here is real, with stylists and other front desk receptionists, and the professionalism and communication are non-existent. Almost all of the stylist are lovely and great people on a personal level, but this is not a place you want to start your career at. Yes, my pregnancy played a part into why they treated me the way they did, but regardless, the way this business is ran is horrible and their sanitation practices are also questionable from my knowledge of safe practices. If you do decide to work here, GET EVERYTHING WRITTEN ON PAPER AND SIGNED BY BOTH PARTIES!! and do not be as naive as I was. I wasted too much time on this place and I don't want that to be you!

I walked in and was greeted right away and asked what I was in for. They do seem to take appointments as a couple people came in after me and mentioned their appointment. However, one group was turned away because they were late for their time slot - so be timely if you have a reservation. I chose a nail polish from the huge selection - I will say that many of the polishes looked like they were separating. I don't know that much about nail polish (remember, I only get a pedicure like once a year lol) but that kind of seemed like maybe they were old. I'm sure you can also bring your own polish if you have one that you like. I got seated quickly and the pedicure was pleasant. They have a few options for pedicures at different price points. I wasn't asked which level I wanted, nor did I specify, but I ended up getting the Basic pedicure for $35, which I feel is reasonably priced and in line with other spots I've been to in the past. The scrub and hot towels were nice. The pedicure itself was gentle and I was really pleased with the results. They do take credit cards for payment, but their receipt slips don't have a tip line, so you can either let them know you'd like to add a tip before they run your card, or they can run it again for the tip amount. They do prefer tips in cash, so I'll be sure to bring some next time.
