Im not from this area so I asked a friend where to go to get a nice pedicure. I called and made appointment and during appointment I explained I wanted my "big" toe fixed. My big toe breaks all the time and it catches on socks so I have to have it fixed. . My large toe nails are both broken/half there. When I get there I explain I had an appointment. Yeah yeah! I had booked the appointment with a lady. So the man at a station come over. I explained about what I need for the two toes. I said I can show you photo. No no, I fix. Then I get my feet in the water. I ask, how much. They had me just a chart of scents. I ask again. No, there is no price. She states $45.00 I said, is that with the acrylics on the toe. Yes yes. He gets started. I notices he is drilling all my toes. So I mention. I just wanted the big toes acrylic the rest just polished. He just keeps going. While doing the cuticle work he nips me pretty good and draws blood. I understand that can happen. I said nothing. (My nails had nothing on them. I had not had polish on in months) no reason to SAND the toe nails. He then proceeds as normal. Then he slaps on the acrylic. And only does the part that is missing. I'm like, that doesn't look right. He must be gonna let it dry. They he does the other toe the same way. He never brings the acrylic down on the whole toe. He lightly sand it but doesn't buff it, I'm like hmmm. Then he starts to put polish on, no base coat! Then proceeds to polish all the nails. I'm like, hey..: these toes are bumpy, they didn't understand. I said lumpy. Lady tells him. He snaps in his native language that he wasn't finished. She tells me he wasn't finished. Like, that's odd he is polishing the nail. She said, he will make right. He continues to paint my toes. I say, it's still very lumpy cuz you didn't do the whole toe. He then proceeds to just FILL in with Polish. I say, now you know that is not right and it's not gonna dry. He still is trying to get my other toe to stop bleeding. Uggg, so I decide that I'm just not gonna tip him well. When I go to leave she says $50. I said, you told me $45 plus he filled in my acrylic with polish. She just looks at me. I noticed I didn't have the right change I had her $60 and she says "thank you" I say. No no you owe me $10 and then I will tip. She says, NO CHANGE. I'm like, wtf! Now mind you, I'm not one to usually speak up, I let people walk all over me I'm told. So again I said. No I would like my change. The man who did my pedicure shouts BYE! So no, I will not go back and I'm gonna yell at my friend for recommending this One positive is the place did seem very clean. read more

I took my daughter with me yesterday to get our nails & toes done for my wedding. We drove all the way from Muskegon, to come to this place: It took forever. We were there from 3:25 until 6:30. They're really nice. Very clean..... but holy cow very slow. I went in and I told them FOUR separate times how I wanted my daughters nails. Very easy. French manicure. With gel. White tips. Two of them repeated what I said every time too. One of them being the girl who did hers....After an hour and a half she came back and her nails were painted ALL white. I told them she did it wrong that's not what I asked for and this is for a wedding everyone's nails are supposed to be the same and now she's the only one with a different nail color and we have to leave because this took forever and we don't have time to stay and we leave the next day for Mexico for my wedding.. instead of saying no problem I'll get this done really fast and redo them before you're done with your nails or at least give me A discount since it wasn't what I asked for and I have to get it redone....they laughed and said this better for her... and then talked in another language while laughing so I had my translator app on and let's just say they weren't being nice... they just kept laughing. Then she left for the day. Meanwhile I'm getting a little frustrated because you envision a certain way you want for your wedding and I just felt nothing was going right... now I'm getting my nails done and I told him at least 10 different times.. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my fingers you can even see which ones because they're bent and crooked they don't bend certain ways and it will be very painful and he just kept bending it and I started getting tears in my eyes because it was hurting so bad and he just smiled and said sorry and then would keep doing it.... And would smirk whenever I would jerk from the pain...Then he brings out this peach color nail polish and I said oh isn't it supposed to be white and he said yes and then continued to paint my nails with the peach.... I just thought OK maybe it's part of the process of how to get the nails the way I wanted them which I posted the picture below. I sat down in the chair around four... When I was done they did not look the way I wanted. So I said no I thought they were supposed to be more white looking like the picture and the glitter isn't done the way the picture is. It's clear! So the owner comes over looks at them and starts bringing him different glitters (that isn't even the same) and they start putting on more glitter... and missed doing my thumbs...then brought White over and put it over the glitter then said no that's not right took off the white then they just continue to put more glitter on.... I was just sitting there with tears in my eyes because I was so frustrated because I felt like instead of sitting down and saying OK we are not able to make them look like this do you want us to just do it a different way? But I didn't get that because it was closing time by then it was almost 630..... so they again started laughing like it was no big deal and charge me $200 for nails I did not want and now I'm going to have to get them re-done in Mexico... Don't get me wrong they are very kind people and they usually do a great job as I'm told...but I was really frustrated because they did not do well with me for something that was really important to me. They laughed at something that is really important to me and I just really wanted it to be a certain way and instead of trying to solve the issue they laughed about it and charged me full price because not their problem I guess.... I really believe that I should've received a discount of some sort... I don't believe I should have gotten my nails done for free because at the end of the day it takes time and materials that they have to use that they paid for and I understand that but when you see that a bride is that unhappy because you did the work wrong not once but twice I believe that there should've been a discount applied to go towards me having to now get them re-fixed when I get into Mexico. Taking time away from me doing my other stuff I needed to get done for the wedding that's why I got them done before I left so that it was some thing checked marked off my list and done with and now I have to get them redone and pay even more money when I shouldn't have to... I cried the whole way home out of frustration it's been a hard a week and this was supposed to be a relaxing thing that instead turned out not that way either. read more

I've tried this place a few times and finally won't be going back. I called to make an appointment specifically with Kelly, the owner, because the last few times I had gone, the younger men who work there were very sloppy and rough with my nails. I waited an extra week more then I wanted, to specifically get an appointment with Kelly to do my nail removal and shellac manicure. Once I got there, kelly was late and I waited 25 minutes past my appointment time. Ok fine, no big deal. However, once Kelly had removed my nails she looked at me and asked, "it's okay if someone else does your manicure, right? It doesn't have to be me?" Umm talk about put on the spot! Not wanting to be rude I said that was fine but was actually fuming on the inside and then once again, was handed off to the same man I was worried about ending up again with which is WHY I made the appointment with Kelly! And Kelly proceeded to go do a pedicure on a different client who had walked in! Talk about unprofessional! The guy Kelly rudely handed me off to was once AGAIN extremely rough with my nails and this time, actually cut me extremely deep on my pointer nail finger, to the point it bled. I will NEVER be going back to this ridiculous excuse for a salon and I would suggest you save yourself the time, pain AND the money by not going here!! read more
