Baristi has a casual ambiance, free WiFi, patio or indoor seating, and a nice selection of traditional and specialty coffees, tea, infusions, iced or hot, etc. They also have a nice selection of baked goods and some other food menu items, freshly made as opposed to previously frozen and thawed like at Star****. Prices are very reasonable, parking at the Plaza is secure, and Baristi is surrounded by bukoodles of other shops, eateries, and even a movie theater, making it a great stop while walking around with your friends. I enjoyed Baristi coffee several times during my stay in the area.

When I finally heard my name called, I walked up to the counter and saw two drinks sitting there. Since neither was labeled, I politely asked the barista which drink was which. Instead of simply helping me, she responded, "I haven't made yours yet," with a pretty obvious attitude. It was an unnecessarily rude interaction and definitely didn't make me feel welcome. I went back to my seat and ended up waiting another five minutes for our drinks. And unfortunately, the coffee itself didn't make up for the wait. I ordered the salted maple latte, and my husband had the French vanilla latte. Both were mediocre at best and left us pretty underwhelmed. Overall, I really wanted to like this place, especially because of its cute atmosphere and convenient location. But between the long wait, burnt pastry, unfriendly service, and disappointing coffee, our first experience was not a good one. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
