Despite the immediate cancellation request, I was told the deposit was completely non-refundable and could only be applied toward a future purchase. I fully understand businesses having policies, but customer service and reasonable flexibility matter -- especially for repeat customers and cancellations made almost immediately after ordering. Instead of working toward a fair resolution, I was simply referred back to the policy. The cakes may be beautiful, but unfortunately this experience left a bad impression and made me feel more like a transaction than a valued customer.
