Called the number, left a message asking about the possibility that truck might need something to do. I wasn't holding my breath. Less than 20 minutes later, I get a call. Not knowing what prep I needed to do, I was leaving everything to the experts. I was lucky enough to get THE Mr. Morrell, who explained everything. He found and dig out our tank cover easily after a little inspection. After 8 years, we were overdue, but sometimes good just falls in your lap. Pleasant & honest, and the price was right!!!! The overwhelming answer, was Anderson. I called, a gentleman answered, asked for our address and said his guys would be there in a bit. He also told me how much it could cost, depending on what had to be done. Two men pulled in a large truck, with a large tank. I had already removed the snow from ground where our septic was. They knew exactly where it was, it took them just a few minutes to dig them up and to take the covers off. He showed us how and where to pull up a filter and clean it out, so there would be less back up. They then did the dirty and finished up. They recommended we get it serviced annually. We will, with them, Anderson septic. They were fast, polite, knowledgeable, and just very very nice. Form call at 8:30 am to the job finished by 12:30. Amazing. We thank you ! We would recommend them to anyone !

They said they'd replace my leach field in September. They showed up in November with one hour's…read morenotice. They did the job, but they knocked over about 5 feet of stone wall and just left it there. My plumbing backed up a few months later; I called them and they said they "may have" crushed the pipe from the house to the septic tank by driving their equipment on it. They didn't seem surprised at all, like they knew they had crushed it and were hoping I wouldn't call them back. At least they fixed it for free a week later. I will do septic work myself with a teaspoon before I call these hacks again.

Roots had invaded the pipe going from my house to the septic tank. A crew showed up less than a…read moreweek after I called. They dug up and replaced the pipe and increased the pitch for better flow. They got rid of the roots and installed a manhole to the tank, so I'd never have to dig it up again. They pumped out the tank while they were at it. The crew worked within inches of the backyard birdbath, garden and bird feeders without disturbing so much as a single flower. When they were finished, they raked out the excavator tracks, leveled and seeded the lawn. The cost was on the low side of a very fair estimate. I surmise that they are just plain good at what they do, and hence are more efficient than the competition. They were polite, courteous and caring. None better.

My…read morehusband and I contracted with Ken Morrell in Sept 2019 to replace our septic system on our seasonal cottage in Maine. Included in the agreement was putting down erosion control after the system was installed. I had to bug him about getting a signed agreement-should have been a warning sign right there. Ken said that the work would probably get done before winter and if not, in the spring. He suddenly started doing the work in February when the place was closed for the season. I only found out because he cashed the first payment check and I contacted him to find out what was going on. When we met him at the property in Feb to give him the final payment we discovered that they had cut our surface water supply line. He assured me that they would fix it before the we opened the place in May. I followed up with him several times and he kept saying it would get fixed. We got up there mid May and it was still not fixed (couldn't use the house because we had no water) and we discovered that they had left our property a mess! Many large holes on the hill going down to our house and where they installed the system (even at the top no where near the septic system/ leach field). One hole was about 2 feet deep. They had moved our boat from where it was parked- we had expected this but they never moved it back. The terrain problems weren't visible in Feb because the ground was frozen and still had snow cover. I left Ken a message-no response. And no response to several other emails, texts and voice messages I left asking him to call me so we could discuss our concerns. My husband wound up repairing the water line himself and we hired someone for over $1000 to move the erosion control material, bring in material to repair the holes, pack down the soil and move the erosion material back. I lodged a complaint and started the mediation process with the state of Maine and found out he had 2 other similar complaints in the last year or so that he had never responded to and big surprise-the mediator couldn't get a response from him on our case either. We've hired many contractors over the years and have never dealt with such an unprofessional, unresponsive and sloppy company. Save yourself some headaches and money and stay away from them

They sent an inexperienced technician who…read moreinitially cleared the clog but then went back in aggressively and cracked the pipe, causing major flooding and extensive water damage to my home, including the first floor. Instead of taking responsibility, the company blamed the issue on "old pipes" and has been completely unresponsive to my repeated calls and requests to speak with a manager. To make matters worse, after causing thousands in damage, they had the audacity to send me a bill for hundreds of dollars. This business has shown a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care. I strongly urge anyone considering Zoom Drain to look elsewhere.

We had an emergency septic issue this past week where we could not use any toilets, sink, washer,…read moreshower - nothing! Allen from Doyon came to our house, analyzed the situation and figured out it was a frozen pipe outside - under 3 feet of snow and frozen ground. He helped us dig into the frozen ground to thaw the pipe. We hit a snag when he realized the pipe had a fork - and was creative, thoughtful - and hearty - enough to dig into the ground in another spot to get to the offending ice. Meanwhile the temperature was minus 10 with the wind chill. We are so pleased and thankful to Doyon for sticking with this problem and fixing it!
