However after the waiter removed our dishes he sat down at a table near ours (where he obviously know the patrons) and proceeded to eat dessert with them and chat while we sat waiting for our bill. Not wanting to be rude we just sat and waited, but had to wait 10-15 minutes before he turned around and we caught his attention for the cheque. Other than the wait time, I would recommend based on our meals!

My son has dairy allergies and they had no problem whatsoever making him a cheese less pizza. My daughter had the margherita, my wife had the pepperoni and I had the Calzone. All of the meals were prepared very quickly and were expertly cooked in their pizza oven. The dough which was homemade extremely tasty. The sauce and toppings were fresh and also tasted exceptional. The service throughout the meal was excellent and the waiter/owners were super nice. Overall great lunch experience here in St. Johan. Definitely recommended to solve your pizza/Italian fix when I'm Austria. Oh, the house red was also good as well.

Hint - if you are heading towards Wagrain there is a car park on the left before the gas station. Great schnitzel, great pasta and good pizza and my 11 year old is a severe pizza critic! Servers don't start until 6 - so if u arrive before then there is a skeletal crew! Great views of the alps and you can peak into the old church. Our 2nd favorite spot in the area.

The bread was super cool (check out the pic!) like a pita type thing but perfectly toasted and fun. Weird way to describe bread- fun, but whatever it's how I feel. Anyway, service was good, atmosphere was lovely and so was the food. We came at a strange time in the afternoon so the menu was limited but there was still something to make us happy!
