Just wanted to give a little review on this nail salon we've been coming here for about 3 months. service is immaculate. It is a family owned nail salon with that being said My Daughter is very picky with her nails since coming Amy son is able to bring it to life any design my daughter shows him as well as I had the pleasure of Mr. son doing my nails last week. very picky with my nail shape which is fine and he was able to execute the shape as well as taking the time to make me feel happy with the end results I will give this salon a five star and we will continue going back for services especially it being so hard being from New York having to find nail salons that can execute what you're looking for. read more

Excellent experience! I came with a friend hoping by chance they had availability, we both wanted mani and pedi's but were told there is just enough time for each of us to get one service. Thrilled with the honesty we both got our manis done. My gosh I'm in love. Tee did a fantastic job on my ANC. Courteous and kind, I felt very comfortable during the entire process. Many new customers approached the front desk to ask for appointments, the staff was honest and sadly declined them because they were booked up with appointment for the evening. I really appreciate the honesty when it comes to situations like this. They didn't overpack they salon and have a mob of angry people waiting. I'll definitely make a appointment next time, and will review my pedi experience. Overall I'm extremely satisfied! My nails came out PERFECT! read more

Prices are OK. Probably average prices if you get your nails filled in or a pedicure. Service is honestly a hit or miss but lately it had been slower for me. The staff is nice and humorous. However, they tend to make rude comments which made me and others feel uncomfortable. After one last pedicure over 6 months ago, I'd had enough of the comments and slow service. The nail salon down the street near Price Chopper is way faster and the staff is much more courteous! Cheaper prices too! read more

Getting your nails done should be stress free! Not at this place! I waited for 45 min for my turn. The owner at the front skipped my turn because I showed him a picture of what I wanted. He was mad because I didn't pick my own polish (I wasn't sure what colors really matched the picture). He told me to pick my polish and I had to wait another 15 mins for the next nail tech! If I could give 0 stars I would. I just left this place in tears. I have been to this salon numerous times since they have opened and have had nothing but positive experiences until today. I went in for a pedicure for myself and my daughter. My experience started with a 45 minute wait just to get in a chair. Once the girl started working on my feet I knew she was inexperienced. I told her to please cut the nails straight across and to be careful of the hang nail I have on my one toe. She then proceeded to butcher my toe. She cut them WAY too short and then to take care of the hang nail she cut the nail on an angle so the nail bed was in the shape of a "U". It looked terrible. I told it I wanted the nails straight across and asked if there was anyone who could help her understand. She said there wasn't, apologized and said she would fix it. She then started to attempt to file my nail straight across but since she cut them WAY too short already she was filing the nail bed. It was excruciating. I made her stop. I again asked her to get help from someone and again she did not. I told her I was done and wanted to leave. She was apologetic but at this point I was in tears over the botch job that was just done to my toe. Upon checking out the owner asked what was wrong, she told him and never once did he offer to help with the situation, offer his apologies or even try to fix her error. Of all the offenses this was the worst. As a small business owner I would expect he would have been mortified to see a customer checking out IN TEARS over a poor service that was just performed by one of his employees, but he seemed unconcerned. I paid for my daughter's service and left. I WILL NOT be returning to this establishment EVER and I will encourage others to do the same. Da-vi nails in the Walmart In Catskill Absolutely sucks I went and got my nails done there for the first time ever with my daughter and two days later my one nail fell off and the rest lifted I ended up going to everlasting nails because that's where I normally go and I didn't know that they were open I called Da-vi nails to try to get my nails fixed and they gave me an attitude and they told me that they couldn't they would have to charge me for a fill ...mind you my nails were only on for a week so why would I get a refill and then to have to pay for it when you did a shitty job!!! Never in my life have I seen such a bad job on nails I advise anybody to not go there when I went to everlasting and they fixed their mistakes my nails they were literally the rest of them were falling off after only a week!!! read more

Been there 3 times just to give them the benefit of the doubt because everyone I see in the area with nice nails always seems to go there. BUT apparently I always get the one girl who doesn't know what she's doing. This time she took 2 hours to do what should have been "pink and white fills" and she was so rough I had to keep asking her to be careful, but of course she continued, made me bleed twice and made a mess of everything she did, then had the nerve to tell me that normally she would charge $40 but today I could pay $35... gee thanks. Next time I'll take the time to drive to Kingston where they did a much better job for the same price. read more

the man who did my nail fill (not sure of his name) did an amazing job. he also informed me that the previous person who did my nails didn't fully put acrylic on my nails. he was very friendly and had a really good vibe to him. the atmosphere was very clean and neat. i will definitely come here again. read more

Ok, I've been to this place for a few years and I have never experienced what I did this time. When you get a manicure, isn't the whole point to take off your existing polish (whether gel or regular) and put new polish on? Isn't that part of a manicure?! Well, this guy not only rushed me (no attention to detail for either manicure or pedicure) through both while checking his phone many times; he also CHARGED me an extra $5.00 to take off my old gel polish. WTF??? I was there weeks ago and not only did I get charged $10.00 less for the exact same thing, but there's a fee to remove polish now?! He also didn't even give me a second coat of nail polish (seems to be the standard, right?) until I asked and then he really tried to rush me out to get to more customers. I got home and found that I had black "strings" imbedded into my GEL nail polish on at least 4 fingers. I would say that was from the brush on the polish, which only happened because of how rushed he was. I was so livid at the rushed and aggressive way he not only did my mani/pedi (never even used anything on cuticles to soften) but also at charging me to remove nail polish! This is so far beyond any "normal" manicure I've ever had before in my life, including this place!! No one has ever charged me that and you can damn well be sure they have lost my business for good now. This guy, I believe his name is Trae, was the worst and most unprofessional tech I have ever had there. His nail station is also the filthiest I have ever seen and he threw all the nail clippings and cuticle pieces on the floor! UGH! The women are much better and do not charge extra to remove polish, which makes this even more suspicious. Due to there being a lot of people waiting, I decided not to argue with him - but if they think anyone is going to pay a "take off" fee (I believe that's what he called it), they are sadly mistaken and I'd even call it greedy. I've been going to this DaVi nail salon for quite a long time. I don't give 5 stars for anything because I don't feel anyone is perfect. That being said, my nails are always done well. Some employees are better than others, but Tee and Tony(especially Tee) have always made me feel good about having my nails done there. She is a really nice person and a great nail artist. About the previous review, it just shows some people can never be made happy. If you like how Kingston does your nails you should have just gone there in the first place. Eileen read more
