I'm a vintage boot collect high-end made boots mainly through the 1970s. I have had the soles and heels of a few pairs of fry campus boots including some 50s western boots and replace pool tabs with some stitch work. I am not an easy customer because each pair of boots has its own unique issues.. I have confidence bringing my boots here, which says a lot. I need someone who knows how to refurbish rebuild repair and someone that can tell me if it is even worth putting the money into. I have a 30 year old pair of black Wellco/ Ro-Search hot weather army boots I used and abused in the mid 90s. Special emphasis on SFAS try outs at Camp McCall, NC in 97'. These things were beat to hell. The Panama soles were basically gone and missing a brass grommet on a vent hole of one boot. One week later the brass gromet has been replaced, a new ripple sole installed, and a spit shine was put on as a finishing touch. I'm impressed! I'll be proud to wear these old veterans around Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, and Pearl Harbor in the summer of 2026. Thank you! read more

Small Shop- BIG HELP I bought a pair of boots at an unnamed nearby store but found out after that the left boot was MISSING two rivets. Unnamed store would not exchange or return because of some weird warranty nonsense with the boot company. I found DaBootShop and in FIVE MINUTES he put on new rivets and painted them to match! Everyone there was so kind and helpful and patient to listen to my ranting, lol. The store name can be a SMIDGE confusing as it is nowhere on the storefront, but I do highly recommend their services. read more

I bring my Dress Shoe to Dabooyshop for repair due to the worn-out heels and cleanup. It takes about one weeks for me to get the shoe back due to all the work on it. I got the sole protection and put a new rubber part on the heel. After I got the shoe back it was shining and new looking. They also help me rebuild the wood part of the heel without charge. I've been here several times, all for women's shoes. The first time I came here it was to repair the heel of a pricy leather ankle boot my dog had chewed on. I thought the shoe was probably a goner, but they filled the bite marks and re-wrapped the heel, and it was as good as new! It cost me significantly less than replacing them would have, plus I didn't have to break in a new pair! I have continued to go there since to have the heels on my pumps re-tipped. As a realtor I spend a good portion of my day walking through homes, and it's amazing how quickly I can burn through a pair of heels. It is important to me to buy comfortable quality shoes, and replacing the whole paid every time I went through the heel tips wouldn't be affordable. So first off the name of this place isn't the one listed. It's [Marco's] "Da Boot Shop." Went here to get a pair of boots repaired that I anticipated I would have to replace entirely. A super nice guy (whose name I can't remember ) quoted $25 to fix them. Picked them up in about 3-4hrs and he did a great job. I'd highly recommend. read more
