When I first found this store, I thought i found a hidden gem because all of their great deals. I had bought a stroller from them that was advertised on offer up. It was very clean and seemed like it was in great condition but it broke on my second use with my newborn. I was pushing him in the stroller and one of the wheels completely fell off and it was apparently zip tied into place under the hubcap. Guys. This place could be so much cooler. I'm afraid it is currently desperately uncool. Why? You ask? So. Many. Reasons. My story: I absolutely LOVE a bargain. Bargain is my middle name. So when this Amazon returns store opened in my hometown it went right on my bargain radar. They advertise a system where on Thursday, new items are loaded onto huge tables in their ratty beaten up boxes, and everything on these HUGE tables in these HEAVY boxes that are THRASHED is $40 each, then on Friday. $35, Saturday 30 etc. (prices are my best guess, but they do decline) by Wednesday everything is a dollar! Fun, right? The first time I went to Daily Bargain I took my kids early in the workweek, and everything was $7. We found a few fun little things, and all was good. I've been a few times since and indeed, bargains were had. BUT the weirdness emerged. It showed up in an undeniable way. Creepy weirdness that could not be ignored. Weirdness like: 1) Christian CD always on full blast with five discordant songs played on a loop. Until you're ready to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. 2) It may sound like heaven, but it's hotter than hell in there. Even though there are boxes and boxes of fans for sale. No fans for sinners. 3) Came on Wednesday this week. EVERYTHING's a DOLLAR YAY! Oh, wait no. Just one table that, I kid you not, is primarily stocked with debris that seems to have fallen out of other boxes. And two bags of lye. The other tables with the big returns are $20/item. 4) Car parts for specific make/models, meat slicers, machinery parts and other straight junk have been hanging out on the $20 tables for at least the 3-4 weeks I have been stopping by. I thought we clear the old then bring in the new each week? Nothing about a Mazda side mirror is fun. That is trash now. Nobody wants that. Just face it and move on. 5) Ok this is the straw that broke my back. The point of no return. The reason we had to break up. **They don't let you look in the boxes** These absolutely thrashed boxes are taped back up by these clever business owners at COB each night. You are not allowed to remove the tape to look inside. Should you want to know the content of an unlabeled box you have two options: A) Scan label with Amazon app on your phone. A great choice if you hate inspecting returned items for visible flaws. And complicated! I'm just wanting an analog shopping experience, so no. B) Pick up each taped up box and carry it to the register to be personally untaped for you. Sounds exhausting. And did I mention it's hot in there? I guess if they aren't busy managing inventory (which they often are) you could also call over the owner or his wife (sometimes daughter) for help un-taping a box you are interested in. Even all of them, just keep calling them over. You know, about once every 30 seconds. That's not weird at all. WHY can't we open and look inside the boxes independently? Well, we can ruin the boxes! The boxes get all messed up! Then no one wants to buy them! **These boxes have already made a trip to a customer somewhere in the USA and they are displayed in their dinged up torn and shabby glory on day one. To a bargain hunter that looks great, because it looks like a bargain. New boxes look too expensive. I would never base my decision to purchase an item at the Amazon return reseller on box integrity. No one ever would ever. That is straight ridiculous.** I suggested removing items from their boxes then, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE PRODUCT YOU ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING. And just NO to assisted taping. No no and absolutely f-ing not. That is weird, deeply uncool, and no fun at all. I communicated my opposition to this system to the proprietors and they were less than appreciative. Some may even say they were downright defensive, and others may have noticed them being clearly offended by my refusal to comply with their restrictions on untaping their unlabeled boxes myself without permission. What would Jesus do? So that was it. The end of a perfectly matched bargain hunter with her bargain store. Nice knowing ya!" So my experience at this store has generally been good and usually find pretty good deals up until today. 3 months ago, my wife found a beautiful 10' x 10' fluffy carpet on their Offer Up page and she fell in love with it and wanted to use it for our expectant baby's nursery. So I went to go pick it up and paid $75 for it, took it home, and put it off to the side until we were ready to set up the nursery. Up until yesterday, my wife opened up the box in which the carpet was in and put it to wash. After pulling it out of the dryer, she noticed that it had some odd looking black spots on the back of the carpet. After looking at the box, she noticed that the word "Mold" was written on it, and she was horrified when she read that. Later, when I got home, I inspected the carpet and it was filled with a bunch of little MOLD SPORES. Today (11/19/2025), I came back to the store to explain to the owner that they sold us this carpet without inspecting it, and those mold spores could be really dangerous to our health and our expectant baby, so all I really asked for was a credit or an exchange in which he was not willing to do either. I kept my cool, but I was so upset (I didn't make a scene, yell, or shout obscenities) and I told him to keep the item, I will never be shopping here ever again and walked out. The owner followed me outside and tried to work with me by offering me half of the $75 I had wasted on the defective blanket. I told him that to keep the blanket and the credit and also mentioned that if my wife had been here, she would have really carved into him; so he was lucky that I came and not my wife. The point of this post is that this store should be ashamed of itself and should not sell people defective items, and their unwillingness to cooperate with a customer when they have a legitimate claim and proof that an item is defective, especially a pricey one. Our baby is due in three weeks or sooner and now we have to scramble to find a carpet that my wife would like for the nursery. read more

I've been coming here for a few months, almost every Tuesday and Wednesday after work because I take the train to work. I found a few great deals here and there like a video game arcade emulator setup for $40 (sells for $200 on amazon(!), look up "pandora box arcade"), a set of stairs for my dogs to walk up for $5 (I think maybe $20-40 on amazon?), and some Quest 2 head strap that has an integrated battery for $3 (probably around $30-40); those were the ones that stood out to me the most. I can confirm from Crystal's review that there's always the same car parts, meat slicers, random machinery (some that seem to have been dunked in oil, ew) etc etc that has always been there since forever every Wednesday when they're doing that $20-40 sale. I don't know about getting rid of them since someone could try to sell them on eBay yourself if they got the time for the sake of reuse / recycle... maybe they should separate the repeat items and put them in a dedicated bin for items have been told for a long time and decrease the price over time until it hits $1 instead of wasting people's time spreading them randomly all over the place; that would be my main compliant about it. Also can confirm the Christian music being blasted 24/7 which is very odd... but it's a free country and doesn't bother me the slightest unless I'm told to be converted in order to buy something... but it is odd though because it's not like random store music. I can't say much about the AC; I came much later in the day... but I can say there is only one AC vent outputting cool air and it's only at the cash register. Also, they don't seem to close the door to keep the cool air in. As for opening boxes, I think the reason why they don't want you to open them is that you might steal stuff in it. But then again, you got big ass boxes that contain heavy stuff or just big boxes that are big items in general... be hard to steal them. Plus, I don't think they really enforce the rule since I see people trying to open the boxes all the time since I've been there. Maybe if people opened boxes and stole critical screws to build something, that would be a concern... but who's to say that maybe it was never there in the first place when it was returned to Amazon? Going to have shrug on that one. However, it doesn't matter anymore.... because it seems my days of going to this store are over as they decided to close an hour earlier (from 7pm to 6pm) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday... ... yep, the two days that sell any items in the bin for $3 (Tuesday) and $20-40 (Wednesday... earlier half of the day is $1 but the last review seems to implied it's VERY limited) are the days they decided to change the closing time to the worst time.... (Thursday is a weird choice though, I would think they would keep those hours long but I guess, to be fair, people must have realized that there are some things not worth $25...) I would think those two days in the middle of the week would be hard enough for anyone take part of... and I only come there near the end of the day (like the last 45 minutes) so most the good stuff are probably gone anyway (but sometimes I get lucky or find what I need).... so why close earlier and lock out even MORE customers? Their business must not be doing good, can't afford Amazon return pallets, or bad luck with Amazon return pallets if they're reducing their hours... that's the only reason I can think of and that's just not cool that the only solution is to reduce hours on the most popular (but most hard to come) days. ... but business is business, just hope it was worth it. Genuinely hope you can restore the old store hours at some point. read more

Since Advanced Outlet was closed and Costless is very busy, I was told about this place that used to be a rental video store. Finally visited this new store for the first time yesterday afternoon. It looked like most of their sales were from Amazon. Just stopped by a few days ago and gotta say that this place is awesome. Has a variety of different products ranging from clothes, electronics, technology, and so much more. You just have to look through the boxes to see what's inside. It seems like each day has a set price depending on the Friday. For example, all items on Friday are $12 and all items on Wednesdays are $1. Fridays are expensive because they restock their new shipments on Friday morning so lots of people seem to be lined up outside to get the best items first. Many of these items appear to be over several hundred dollars that sell for merely $12.. This place is definitely family friendly and has staff that is willing to help load items into your car for you. Highly recommend you guys check it out! read more

Welp found out both pairs and the battery pack are fake and they all had the same serial numbers. They asked where we got them and we told them. Straight rip off. Beware of what day you visit - you may end up paying $40 for a $15 or lower item if you just wait for a day or two - I would definitely wait to go on Friday / Saturday. Have been to other bargain bin stores that are way more organized and better deals - citimall being one of them. We had that experience and the store owner could care less about it ripping us on the items bought. Not the cleanest store. Unorganized as well. Hope they make things right to stay in business longer, as La Habra / Whittier definitely have other bargain stores that are much more welcoming and customer friendly. If I could give this a zero star I would. Everyone beware! He advertises stuff on the boxes that aren't even the rite product and when you ask to make sure it's that product he assures you that it is when it really isn't. I paid more than what the product is worth because they advertise it as 2 half heart shaped plant stands so I bought 2 for $40 each box thinking I'm getting 2 whole hearts. What was in the box was a completely different stand not even a half heart stand. when I went to just get credit in the store not even my money back they said that it's my fault even though they're the ones that have pictures of a different item taped on the box. I will not buy from here ever again. I would buy something from here spending at least $80 each time at least 3 times a week but never again. I understand it is a return store but don't advertise something on blank boxed products when that's not really what's in the box. Here's proof, walk in the store and I'm sure you'll see more of these "heart shaped plant stand with a printed paper advertised as new on Amazon for $139.99 or $169.99" and he'll sell it for $40 when the product is really a 5 tier plant stand that's only worth $35.99 brand new on amazon. They also put stuff back on the shelves that didn't sell the previous day for more so beware!
