There's a lot going on over here. -

I originally came with the intention of just relaxing and window shopping... you know how that goes. Somehow, those are always the shopping trips where you find the best deals. I ended up leaving with way more than I planned, including a bunch of cute clothes and new shoes. Can we also talk about the lululemon outlet? Where have these deals been hiding?! It was such an unexpected gem, and I found so many pieces I loved. Another thing I appreciated was how easy everything felt. Parking was simple, walking around the outlets was stress-free, and the overall atmosphere was much more relaxed than I expected for an LA shopping center. If you're looking for a fun shopping day without melting in the summer heat, I'd definitely recommend making the trip. Just be warned... if you tell yourself you're "only window shopping," you're probably going home with shopping bags.

When this happens and my kids are in the backseat, I just take a deep breath and start whistling "Move Bitch" by Ludacris as I drive by. Lol. The Habit in Pico Rivera has to be the slowest operating of this chain in all of America. The burgers haven't been all that great during the pandemic. Their PA system sucks. Check your order before you go! PARKING Ample free spaces... not so much near Walmart, though. Lol. TIP During COVID-19, many places are offering order online and pickups in person or takeouts. This is so worth it when you have kids especially. OVERALL I'm a fan thanks in large part to Lowe's, Wendy's, ULTA, Sally Beauty, Dollar Tree, and Bath and Body Works.

Then they send security to "check" on you after less than a minute of being in the restroom. I do not look like a junkie or homeless at all btw. They just decided because of their prejudice to do this. Security knocks on the door, then looks inside the restroom (supposed to be for 1 occupant at a time btw) and behind the door as though you are a criminal, for literally no reason. Felt very violating of my privacy and gross. I literally just needed to wash my hands and pee, but after that, i decided to just hold it til i got home.

As I walked around, I kept seeing groups of people arguing loudly or acting in ways that made the environment feel unstable, and it surprised me how often it happened. It wasn't just one moment -- it felt like something concerning was happening every time I turned a corner. What bothered me even more was how poorly monitored the mall seemed. There were areas with almost no staff or security around, which made the whole place feel even more unpredictable. Even the parking lot felt uncomfortable because of the lighting and the people wandering around who didn't seem to be there for shopping. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt like I had to constantly watch my surroundings, which is the opposite of what a mall should make you feel. I really tried to give Stonewood Center a fair chance, but the longer I stayed, the more I realized I wasn't having any fun at all. I didn't feel safe, I didn't feel comfortable, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to teenagers or anyone who wants to enjoy their time without worrying about what might happen around them. I've lived for 24 years, and I've been to plenty of malls, but this was one of the few times where the environment itself felt like the problem. I only visited Stonewood Center once before writing this review, and honestly, that was enough. Monterey Park Marketplace is a 500,000 square foot shopping center that is adjacent to and directly…read morevisible from Fwy 60. The main businesses anchoring it are Costco and Home Depot. There are a handful of other biz plus some open spots up for grabs. I have only been here for Costco visits thus far. Unfortunately, my first impression was not the greatest. I feel the parking lot is tight. I'm not sure if it is because of the elongated-ness of the center. Nevertheless, it holds some of my favorite tenants marked with an asterisk below. I have yet to offer my patronage and support to them, but one fine day, I will. I look forward to new tenants that wishes to complement this center. Happy Shopping and Dining! Universal Bank is also here, but it is not as prominent. Mr. Baguette is in a building on the street... and so is Jim's Bakery... Another building (yes - there are several buildings here) at this mall houses NutriShop, SW Merchant, and MPJ Nail Spa. I actually parked under this building. Because... Even though there's free shared parking... when it's full, look for the Additional Underground Parking. Some of the spaces at the Underground Parking are covered! Enjoy!

The restaurant is still here and probably took over most of the small stores for their space. There's a boba shop, a gym, bakery, and a few other businesses here. Remodeling this plaza, not a mall, really looks good. Fixed all the parking spaces with clear lines. Not like anyone knows how to park but helps to know where my space starts and stops.
