I understand it's a regional specialty, but it wasn't something I enjoyed at all. I also ordered a chocolate shake. It tasted more like vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup added than a properly blended chocolate shake. The syrup wasn't mixed evenly, so most of what I tasted was chocolate syrup. The service was okay--I'd give it about a 3 out of 5. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the staff was friendly enough. Overall, I'm glad I can say I experienced it, but I definitely wouldn't make the drive from Omaha again for it. In fact, even if I lived nearby, I don't think I'd come back. The old-school atmosphere was the highlight of the visit, but for me, the food didn't live up to the hype.
