I'm mean this is Americana. Long day at the lake. Nice scenic ride home. You have to stop and their place has everything you could ever want. The servers are generally high school and college kids who are super friendly and fast. The inside looks really clean. And the parking lot is wide open for when you're trailering or RVing. You cannot go wrong. I especially like their crafted hard ice cream there are some really cool flavors. We'll be going back. read more

The ice cream gere is absolutely fantastic. My favorite thing they do is making special soft serve flavors. Rhe best cone is a chocolate and coffee twist. Where on the planet can you get that? Stopped by while in need of some ice cream during a long day on the road. I was pleasantly surprised by the black raspberry shake, which at $3 was significantly cheaper than shakes at most ice cream places I have seen across the country and very tasty. If you do arrive at any time before (at about 1:56pm), be prepared to be verbally assaulted, by not only employees, but by a miserable elderly man who appears to manage Dairy Frost (and may I add poorly), as well. PLEASE DISREGARD anything you read on their self created Google Business information, or the many scrambled and disorganized Dairy Frost facebook pages. YOU MUST disregard ALL information available to you by the internet, because management clearly is not capable of updating such basic, and obviously crucial, information. If you do happen to read the hours that Dairy Frost themselves have posted online, DO NOT come to Dairy Frost early OR happy or excited for ice cream; for your excitement will be met by harsh, cold, exhausted, painstaking misery; brought to you in the form of unwarranted verbal assault (even before exiting your vehicle) not only by employees, but also by the miserable elderly man who poorly manages the Dairy Frost.
