The Wind Chill Factory used to be Mr. Bill's. I believe that they are now owned by a couple. They don't have as many ice cream flavors as some other places. However they do also have grill items on their menu, made to order. They have seating outside and they also have a small mini golf area which is always fun! I tried their soft serve maple vanilla stacked with blue raspberry. Both flavors were tasty but a little on the sweeter side. Still good in my opinion but perhaps a bit less creamy. Its a cute establishment if you are looking for a bite and or a goodie!

The best soft serve ice cream! I live in Texas and am so thankful for this soft serve stand- we don't have these in Texas! I ordered cotton candy swirl and next time I'm going back for the pistachio chocolate! Really great customer service!

Windchill is a takeout window serving soft and hard as well as grilled items like hotdogs and hamburgers. The windchill factory used to be Mr. Bill's. New ownership has cut back the number of soft ice cream flavors to only a few. The menu consists of mostly grilled items. I don't think they smoke BBQ anymore. They also removed the playground. I mostly view changes as a downgrade. One place they did improve was resurfacing the mini golf courts that needed updating badly.

Over toasted bun.

I wanted to have a fun day with my granddaughter and saw this business with food, ice-cream and mini golf. The high points are the hand cut fries and onion rings. The low points started out with a frozen Pretzel and cheese. I watched my 11 year old granddaughter trying to break a piece of Pretzel off as I watched the salt mush away. When I went to help I was shocked to feel ice. The girl said she would( bring) me out a new Pretzel. From the window she yelled your Pretzel is ready. Michigan dog buns were toasted dark brown and the sauce was lacking flavor. We were going to play golf but after walking around the building found no one to pay. No signs to start. So we just left.

We went here to go miniature golfing and also decided to grab something to eat while we were here because it was available and figured we'd give it a shot. I wasn't too happy with the food it was unfortunately very greasy and did not sit well with my stomach but that's probably because it's more of a fried food type of venue. The miniature golf course was okay, they should definitely think about rebuilding their corners because the ball keeps popping off the course which takes time away from the game which then bottles necks people and then turns into this big traffic jam and then there's certain people who will skip holes because they don't feel like waiting and it just makes for a very hurryed experience. Instead of feeling relaxed while you're playing it feels like you're being rushed all the time to try to hurry and finish the hole. Overall though we did have a good time and I would definitely recommend that you go check it out it's a good time for just to get out and have time away and I thank you for listening.

Located right on the corner of U.S. Route 9 and Malta Ave in Ballston Spa, the outside is pretty low-key. The parking lot was a bit dark, with most of the light coming from the building itself but don't let that fool you. You walk in and you're right at the bar , with plenty of seating barside or table, if that's your vibe. Not into sitting up front? No problem, there's additional seating in the back for a more relaxed feel. Service was a win. Our waiter was courteous, attentive, and accommodating without hovering. Now the food, the Gooouda Burger caught my eye immediately. I ordered it bunless, wrapped in buttery romaine lettuce, topped with crispy bacon and fried onions. Paired it with their straw fries (seriously good) and a cold beer to wash it down. First bite? Exactly what you want. Food to temp, everything was crisp not soggy, the burger was cooked perfectly, even at well done, which is not easy to pull off. I can only speak for the burger, but based on that alone: don't judge this place by its exterior. Give it a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised. (And yes... the picture is of a burger I couldn't wait to bite into )

It's nothing fancy, no lavish decorations, but nice and clean with a beach front feeling. The menu was huge, something for everyone! Our server was the bar tender who was courteous and friendly. I decided on trying a hamburger with American cheese and mushrooms, my buddy had a Buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. The burgers are 1/2 pound! We both agreed that this place was a good find and easily located right off interstate 87 at exit 13S. Prices are reasonable and the food is good! Definitely worth it.

I'm more attracted to non-fried food so the Grilled Haddock was right up my alley. This time I had that with the side order of baked beans and macaroni salad. Again I was not disappointed. My wife gave me the thumbs up on her food also. So I guess I did good. I read the review about the cleanliness. Let me say this, this place is clean. I'm sure they have food inspectors that come in and if it was not able to pass, it would not be open. On the other review which they gave one star, I don't know when this individual called in an order but must understand that you only have a certain amount of people working, trying to please their customers so you have to give them a break. Obviously they don't want to lose customers. If it is a certain time when people are calling in phone orders and coming inside for take out, things happen. Nobody is perfect unless you walk on water. I have been telling a lot of people about this place. Thank God I'm retired and can go there anytime I want. Now I don't have to make seafood at home anymore. The only thing I'll continue making at home is the baked Salmon. Going two days in a row, I guess I'm trying to make up lost time since he has opened up. I'm good with that for sure!

I decided last minute that I was going to take home a bunch of shucked oysters with my tuna. Score! They shucked them right there (you also have the option to take them home and do it yourself). The oysters were delicious-even though they forgot one. I was sad. Honest mistake, I guess. The ahi tuna was great-I made it in 2 different ways-tartare with spicy mayo and seared. Delicious. Really fresh seafood and I like the new (ish) location. Very spacious with a counter for coffee and takeout. I spied beer taps and there might be plans for getting those up and running at some point. Moby Rick's kitchen is not ready yet so they don't have the ability to prepare any of the fish at this location. They are hoping to have the kitchen completed by Summer. For cooked fish you'll currently have to go to their Clifton Park location (which currently is only providing takeout during the COVID-19 restrictions). Since we were in Saratoga we decided to check out their new location and bring something home to cook for dinner. There was a lot of fresh fish to choose from and we narrowed it down to either halibut or sea bass. I decided on the sea bass because we've never cooked it at home before. It was about $35/lb., which is a fair price. My wife prepared it with some white wine, butter and shallots and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was so fresh and tasty.

Makes plenty of leftovers, but it doesn't reheat well since the sauce breaks. The chicken fettuccine alfredo was also good, but not much chicken in it. They give you a quarter of a loaf of bread, which is huge! Calamari was good, they come with the tentacles and the sauce is fantastic. The desserts were the failures. The key lime pie, which I was told was made in house, was incredibly tart. I've had a lot of key lime pie in my life and that was the worst one I've ever had. The creme brûlée was better, but the presentation made it unappealing. The custard was oozing out from under the caramelized top.

OUTSTANDING flavor and value! $17.95 Check out photo. --Fish and Chips - Fresh Haddock was battered in a light coating. Fries were shoestring size and crispy. I would have preferred larger size fries. Coleslaw was fresh but had little savory flavor or seasonings. Seafood sauce was unusual. It was chunky with horseradish but not too strong as expected from the amount of horseradish in it. It had minimal ketchup. It was good but not great. --Tiramisu to share was a little too boozy for our taste. However, the Mascarpone cheese based cream filling was delicious. $7.95 Ordered a Cheeseburger for my Grandson and fries on a Kaiser Roll to go. It was excellent. Only $10.95!
