Grilled Chicken Wrap with Hand-Cut Fries
    Kristen K.

A great place to visit for a summer treat and fun. It has mini-golf, serves food and ice cream and has a playground for kids to enjoy. There's lots of covered seating which is great to get out of the sun and heat. We did not get ice cream this visit only lunch. The hand cut fries were fantastic!

The Wind Chill Factory used to be Mr. Bill's. I believe that they are now owned by a couple. They don't have as many ice cream flavors as some other places. However they do also have grill items on their menu, made to order. They have seating outside and they also have a small mini golf area which is always fun! I tried their soft serve maple vanilla stacked with blue raspberry. Both flavors were tasty but a little on the sweeter side. Still good in my opinion but perhaps a bit less creamy. Its a cute establishment if you are looking for a bite and or a goodie!

The best soft serve ice cream! I live in Texas and am so thankful for this soft serve stand- we don't have these in Texas! I ordered cotton candy swirl and next time I'm going back for the pistachio chocolate! Really great customer service!

Windchill is a takeout window serving soft and hard as well as grilled items like hotdogs and hamburgers. The windchill factory used to be Mr. Bill's. New ownership has cut back the number of soft ice cream flavors to only a few. The menu consists of mostly grilled items. I don't think they smoke BBQ anymore. They also removed the playground. I mostly view changes as a downgrade. One place they did improve was resurfacing the mini golf courts that needed updating badly.

    Over toasted bun.

I wanted to have a fun day with my granddaughter and saw this business with food, ice-cream and mini golf. The high points are the hand cut fries and onion rings. The low points started out with a frozen Pretzel and cheese. I watched my 11 year old granddaughter trying to break a piece of Pretzel off as I watched the salt mush away. When I went to help I was shocked to feel ice. The girl said she would( bring) me out a new Pretzel. From the window she yelled your Pretzel is ready. Michigan dog buns were toasted dark brown and the sauce was lacking flavor. We were going to play golf but after walking around the building found no one to pay. No signs to start. So we just left.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a drive and check out the new Wind-Chill, and we loved it! The food was delicious with hardly any wait, the mini golf course is very well taken care of and so much fun. The ice cream comes in generous sizes and so delicious, everything reasonably priced. Definitely will be returning!

It's nothing fancy, no lavish decorations, but nice and clean with a beach front feeling. The menu was huge, something for everyone! Our server was the bar tender who was courteous and friendly. I decided on trying a hamburger with American cheese and mushrooms, my buddy had a Buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. The burgers are 1/2 pound! We both agreed that this place was a good find and easily located right off interstate 87 at exit 13S. Prices are reasonable and the food is good! Definitely worth it.

Located right on the corner of U.S. Route 9 and Malta Ave in Ballston Spa, the outside is pretty low-key. The parking lot was a bit dark, with most of the light coming from the building itself but don't let that fool you. You walk in and you're right at the bar , with plenty of seating barside or table, if that's your vibe. Not into sitting up front? No problem, there's additional seating in the back for a more relaxed feel. Service was a win. Our waiter was courteous, attentive, and accommodating without hovering. Now the food, the Gooouda Burger caught my eye immediately. I ordered it bunless, wrapped in buttery romaine lettuce, topped with crispy bacon and fried onions. Paired it with their straw fries (seriously good) and a cold beer to wash it down. First bite? Exactly what you want. Food to temp, everything was crisp not soggy, the burger was cooked perfectly, even at well done, which is not easy to pull off. I can only speak for the burger, but based on that alone: don't judge this place by its exterior. Give it a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised. (And yes... the picture is of a burger I couldn't wait to bite into )

I'm more attracted to non-fried food so the Grilled Haddock was right up my alley. This time I had that with the side order of baked beans and macaroni salad. Again I was not disappointed. My wife gave me the thumbs up on her food also. So I guess I did good. I read the review about the cleanliness. Let me say this, this place is clean. I'm sure they have food inspectors that come in and if it was not able to pass, it would not be open. On the other review which they gave one star, I don't know when this individual called in an order but must understand that you only have a certain amount of people working, trying to please their customers so you have to give them a break. Obviously they don't want to lose customers. If it is a certain time when people are calling in phone orders and coming inside for take out, things happen. Nobody is perfect unless you walk on water. I have been telling a lot of people about this place. Thank God I'm retired and can go there anytime I want. Now I don't have to make seafood at home anymore. The only thing I'll continue making at home is the baked Salmon. Going two days in a row, I guess I'm trying to make up lost time since he has opened up. I'm good with that for sure!

The oysters were delicious-even though they forgot one. I was sad. Honest mistake, I guess. The ahi tuna was great-I made it in 2 different ways-tartare with spicy mayo and seared. Delicious. Since we were in Saratoga we decided to check out their new location and bring something home to cook for dinner. There was a lot of fresh fish to choose from and we narrowed it down to either halibut or sea bass. I decided on the sea bass because we've never cooked it at home before. It was about $35/lb., which is a fair price. My wife prepared it with some white wine, butter and shallots and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was so fresh and tasty.

This was an amazing experience. Every touch point was a pure joy, from the moment I entered and was promptly and politely seated, to the last few minutes as I chatted with one of the owners, Chris. Every single interaction we experienced gave us the comfort of being amongst friends who were happy to see us, and more importantly happy to be here. From our fully engaging server to the wonderful highschool sophomore who never let our water glasses get below half full, each and every person made our experience just that: an experience of excellence and perfect attention to detail. Our meals were just as delicious as the people. The Grilled Double-Cut Pork Chop was an absolute triumph--impeccably juicy, beautifully charred, and perfectly balanced by earthy morels, rich creamed ramps, and the bright, sweet pop of local cherries. The reimagined "Ratatouille" was a stunning work of art, featuring a beautifully seared zucchini steak, smoky eggplant crème, and a crisp, fresh nest of squash topped with plump, perfectly grilled shrimp. For the perfect conclusion, the Espresso Crème Brûlée delivered a silky, robust coffee custard beneath a shatteringly crisp caramelized crust, brilliantly elevated by the crunch of cacao nibs. What truly elevated the evening, however, was how flawlessly they handled my strict wheat- and grain-free dietary needs. Navigating menus with these restrictions can often feel stressful, but our server and the chef made every possible effort to accommodate me. They proactively verified every sauce and reduction to ensure they were safe, and the kitchen effortlessly modified the dessert by putting the biscotti on the side. To enjoy a multi-course, world-class meal with that level of meticulous care and total peace of mind is incredibly rare. They didn't just accommodate a restriction; they crafted a masterpiece around it. We certainly won't be waiting another 8 years to return.
