I came to CVS because of the customer service, but my Rx was called in early last week. I stopped Friday to pick it up only to be told it was not approved by my insurance. Why wasn't I contacted earlier? I called this morning (Tuesday) to get more information (thus the phone hold and unpleasant conversation) and 5 minutes after getting off the phone I finally received a text message informing me of the problem with insurance. They always have really great deals with their Plenti Points program. When I go in the store, they always greet me with a "hello" and ask me if I found everything okay when checking out. They always have their sale items marked (which is something that other stores sometimes don't always do). They make it very easy to save money. Whenever I check out, the staff is always very kind. As a couponer, they are always very nice about my coupons. If I have ever a problem with a coupon, this store will make sure to resolve the problem anyway that they can. I haven't ever been to the pharmacy--but as for the store, it is incredible. I believe that the Zanesville Rite Aid has truly earned 5 stars.

The gas price is generally a bit higher than gas stations further away from the interstate but hey, it'll do if you're on empty and don't want to stray far from 70. The inside has the usual gas station staples, like slurpies and terrible coffee, grungy bathrooms, and snacks like potato chips and donuts. If you find yourself driving through Zanesville and need something, this Speedyway will do just fine. If you live in the area, I'd save a few bucks on gas and go a little further in town. However, I wouldn't avoid if I needed a six pack or a snack to nibble on.
