Service is always kind and helpful, food is good but tends to be slow. Very good ice cream and treats :)

1/2 2.5 Stars -- Glasgow, MT McDonald's…read more Honestly, I'm giving this McDonald's 2.5 stars because there were some things they did right... but there were also some things that made me question whether I had accidentally walked into a fast-food survival challenge. Let's start with the good: our food came out fast, our order was correct, and the food itself was good. So credit where credit it's due. Unfortunately, the fries were VERY cold, which was disappointing. Now for the rest of the experience... The second we walked through the front door, we were hit with the smell of what I can only describe as a humid fart. And not a McDonald's fart either. This was a whole different level of biological warfare. There was nobody working the front counter when we went to order, so we used the ordering kiosks. Fine, whatever. Except the kiosks were pretty gross and dirty. The tables weren't exactly inspiring confidence either, and the drink fountain counter looked like a bacterial infection waiting to happen. Then I went to use the women's bathroom. After I peed, I discovered there was NO TOILET PAPER. For context, it's summer, so I was wearing a one-piece swimsuit with shorts over it. So there I was, having to hobble naked from the waist down, with my swimsuit and shorts around my thighs, trying to get to the other stall before someone walked in and witnessed the absolute nightmare unfolding. There are only TWO stalls. I make it into the second stall, finish what I'm doing, and then... THERE'S NO TOILET PAPER IN THAT STALL EITHER. At this point, I'm questioning every life decision that led me to this McDonald's. I peeked my head out looking for a cabinet, dispenser, emergency toilet paper stash--ANYTHING. Nothing. So I had to hobble my naked butt back out of the stall, over to the bathroom door, and yell for my boyfriend while praying to God nobody would walk in and see me standing there half naked behind the door. He came over, I explained the situation, and sent him out to the truck to get my purse because thankfully I had wet wipes. Crisis eventually averted. Then I went to wash my hands. NO SOAP. And the motion-sensor sink was barely putting out any water. So after surviving the Great Glasgow McDonald's Toilet Paper Crisis of 2026, I had to go across the street to the gas station just to properly wash my hands. And THEN, after we had left McDonald's, my boyfriend tells me he went to the men's bathroom... He got soap on his hands and went to wash them. THE SINK PUT OUT ZERO WATER. So he literally had to leave the bathroom with his hands covered in soap. At this point, I'm starting to think the sinks at this McDonald's are participating in a water conservation program that nobody told us about. The food was good, the order was correct, and it came out quickly, so I can't completely trash the place. But cold fries, dirty kiosks, questionable tables and drink area, bathrooms with no toilet paper or soap, and sinks that either barely work or don't work at all is a pretty impressive collection of problems for one visit. I came to McDonald's for lunch and left feeling like I had completed an episode of Fear Factor. 2.5 stars. Please stock the bathrooms, clean the restaurant, and for the love of McNuggets, make sure the sinks actually have water.

I only ate at this establishment when exploring Scobey because we had a couple home cooked meals…read moreand ate at the fair for the full experience of Daniels County. I did have the burger chilled and reheated and it was still flavorful. Apparently this place has been around since the sixties and has been treating locals to a proper local beef burger and soft serve ever since! They also have a lot more than that to offer, as the menu is as tall as the building it's glued to. I saw Mac 'n cheese bites as an option. Imagine what the first Dairy Queen or Sonic was probably like before mass production and freezing everything for distribution. The vanilla soft serve is SO good (the chocolate has a faint powder taste to it). The cold front option is just like a blizzard, with as many add-ins as you wish and nestle cookie dough straight from the tub. It's hard to have a burger in Scobey that isn't delicious because the meat is raised down the same road, but it's awesome to know they take the time to share it with the rest of us! Just be aware they usually close by 8 pm and will close on a Saturday so they can also enjoy the fair festivities. If you find yourself flying across the Great Plains of Montana and want a fresh burger and or a sweet stop, you'll be happy when you drive up and see the open sign is still facing out.

Food is good but a little spendy about like everything else these days with inflation.read more
