We had the chicken barbeque, cheese, Arlie's special, and Eugene's special pizzas and salads. The salads were very fresh with large servings. Each of the pizzas were amazing! I want to like this place better and perhaps it was only a misalignment between my expectations and the delivered product but when you state it is Montana's best pizza place I was expecting something astounding. It wasn't. Eugene's Pizza is located in a small shopping complex that has a few other interesting looking locations. The restaurant itself is fine - social distancing tables are set up to limit spacing and density which was fine but felt bad that they couldn't get more customers though they were constantly putting to-go pizzas out for pickup. The first night we were there I had the pizza burger. It was good - a hamburger patty with mozzarella cheese and red sauce. I had another vision compared to other pizza burgers I have had in the past, but it was good. The tater tots were fine. The second day I had the cheeseburger pizza. I again had a vision in my head as BJ Brewhouse used to have a cheeseburger pizza that was to die for and I was envisioning that. Instead it had a red sauce, an entire layer of finely ground beef, whole slices of pickles, a layer of mozzarella cheese, and an entire layer of American cheese. The American cheese was melted over the top trapping the heat perfectly so it wasn't until the cheese was broken that the steak rushed out. Often as I pulled a slice the American cheese would slide off taking the mozzarella and pickles and much of the beef with it. It ended up being a hot lava mess that burned my mouth. I regret I didn't try something more basic that I could have done a better comparison with. The crust was great. It is a thin slice crust but it was delightful. Maybe other pizza would have been better. If I find my way back to Glasgow again I am certainly going to give it a try. read more

Ohmygosh. Thee best!!! We grew up with a mother tied to the kitchen, never going out to eat. Every once in awhile we would get to order takeout from Eugene's. Now when we go back to Glasgow, Eugene's is an absolute must. The pizza hasn't changed, it's amazing as always. It comes to your table with steam coming off the pie. They don't skimp on cheese, sauce or ingredients so there's no need to order extra anything on the pizzas. The crust is thin and perfect. Make sure to order a salad with homemade thousand island or ranch dressing, all made from scratch. Service is excellent, the place is so clean you could eat off the floor (thank you, MarySue!!) It's a lively, fun atmosphere. They also make their own BBQ sauce and bloody Mary mix which is also quite amazing. The only negative is that they weigh my luggage down! This was the worst service and pizza I have ever had. We waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food. I am not joking when I say the crust was less than 1/8" thick and was like eating a cracker. The edge of the crust was so hard that it was inedible. Not only was the crust bad, but the pizza was bland and they use canned mushrooms. I won't waste another dollar at this place. read more

We were camping at a nearby location and read some posts on an RV website and yelp which were almost all positive. We even received some high praise about the place from some of the locals. We decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. The staff were very nice and inviting. You can tell there is much history in the place by the decor. We ordered the 'heart attack' pizza with extra of all the meat toppings and had them cook it just a bit longer to make a crispy crust. The pizza is a very thin crust which we prefer. The sauce is very good and the toppings plentiful. The place was full for the entire time we were there and there was a steady stream of takeout traffic as well. We even spoke to some of the locals that came in to eat and all were regulars to this place. The feeling is that of a community in this place and many people knew the owners and staff as well as other staff. I am writing this review for my fellow gluten intolerant folks. I was in Glasgow for a work trip and everyone wanted to go to Eugene's Pizza for lunch. I couldn't find any menus online showing that they had gluten free crust, so I'd already decided to go with a salad. However, once we got there I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they did indeed have gluten free crust. And let me tell you, it was some of the BEST gluten free crust I have had and I've eaten a lot of gluten free pizza. And one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The sauce is *chef's kiss*. Can't say the service was terribly fast but once we finally got our pizza is was delicious. I think going up north to see family and knowing we'd hit Eugene's is why my hubby was okay to come up. ;) The tator tots are just that right crunch, I did get a sandwich the second trip and can't say it was all that memorable but you can't expect too much when you are in a PIZZA shop. I had the Maui Jim with oranges and tomatoes added and it was quite tasty. My hubby and daughter got the Arlie's with extra sausage. They do additions if the recipe is a bit boring for you. Nothing fancy, but the prices are affordable, with pleasant service. What struck me at first were the odd, yet imaginative, concoctions found in the menu. Sauerkraut and Canadian Bacon together in a pizza?! It sounds so weird, I just had to try it. It was awesome. All the other pizzas I had were all tasty. My favorite one is probably "The Super", which is a perfectly combined pizza of Pepperoni, Beef, Salami, Sausage, Onion, Green Pepper & Mushroom. This place is the best food stop in town. read more

Took a trip with my parents to see the town where I was born.... Glasgow MT. We are a family of pizza lovers. This is the place where I fell in love with pizza, a special piece of personal history. On this special occasion we got the largest possible pizza with pepperoni and fresh sliced tomato. The Maui Jim is your standard Hawaiin pizza (Canadian bacon and pineapple). It's solidly done but doesn't distinguish itself among other hawaiins. I can't say enough good things about the BBQ Chicken pizza though. The sauce is sweet and tangy and everything is cooked perfectly. We got two 10" pizzas to share between two people and left with plenty of left overs. This is a place I would definitely come back. read more
