My husband and I (both of us are senior citizens) stopped today, August 2, 2026 (around 2:30) for takeout lunch passing thru on our way up to a cabin. While paying for my food, I didn't realize all the money I had saved for taking this trip, had fallen out on their counter. I walked to fill my cup from the soda fountain and the young man who had just taken my order, walked up to me and said "excuse me ma'am, but you dropped this on the counter....handing me all my money. The customer service is nonexistent. How it can take twenty minutes to serve two cars ahead of mine with three total items passed to the drivers in the drive through is explained by the attendant having her back to the window when sticking g out her hand to take payment and deliver the blizzard while flirting with her male co-worker. I was wanting to pick-up a Dairy Queen birthday cake for my mom's birthday. I was short on time and this location wasn't scheduled to open for another 45 minutes. As luck would have it the owners were there doing prep work and went above & beyond to let me come in and pick-out a ice cream cake that they personalized on the spot. I've been to Many DQs around this General area and in my opinion this has been the worst, i've only been to this place two times and out of the both times I've been here you'd think they would've at least done one right. The first time I went there I ordered a Smore's blizzard and all the toppings were at the top and the bottom was just plain ice cream, and just this time I went there for lunch and to my dismay when I ordered chicken strips with barbecue and ranch sauce The order came without any sauce and this was no simple mistake because when they read off our they specifically stated that they had put barbecue and ranch in, now most days I would've just let this go but since they messed up my order last time too I just thought that I would let others know about this unsatisfying experience read more

Took 10 minutes to get my banana split. Manager kept yelling at people in the back and no one was up ringing people up so they got a line and they just continued to yell at each other in back. So not impressed with this place. Owner should really have a talk with the managers. read more

There is significant room for improvement at this DQ location. There was a general sense of minor chaos and a lack of attention to detail during our visit resulting in a few errors with the order but primarily a sense of unease. A lot of these issues could be addressed with strong leadership, taking orders and preparing the food is a formulaic task that the staff is certainly capable of. It should be a management priority that staff is trained properly, cones should be consistently poured correctly and blizzards should be uniformly mixed. Focusing on these fundamentals as well as details such as customer service and ensuring to-go orders are complete with napkins and appropriate sauces will go a long way. It is also critical that, in addition to continually training staff, managers support their teams. Yelling at them and fostering an uncomfortable atmosphere is not pleasant for the customer and obviously is not an effective way to get the team to do their jobs well. Honestly three stars is pretty generous based on our experience but I did feel like the staff genuinely tried. This location has potential if managers/supervisors/franchisees lead by example and empower the employees to do their jobs well. That being said my very unsymmetrical dip cone was pretty delicious even if it took us a few miles to shake the weird energy. read more

If there was a no star I would do that! The lack of leadership and letting teens run your business it's no wonder why it is failing! I ordered a chix strip basket and only had maybe a dozen fries and no gravy, which I asked for and no toast. My daughter ordered a treat after dinner, a royal cheesecake blizzard and I couldn't use the kid 50 cent off cause it was a royal which I said was fine, but when you get in the car only to find out that it wasn't a royal, no strawberry filling. Really! And to hear a rumor that teen workers have been caught SPITTING in the cups, hence why they need adult supervision here! You want a business, then RUN it don't rely on kids! read more
