Unfortunately sub par customer service seems to be the norm these days. That said, it was nice to run into Koscha. Her pleasantness simply asking what I wanted to order carried through to her greeting at the the window. Positive energy is contagious and hers was both recognized and appreciated. *Bonus* My freeze was even better than normal :)

Giving a 1 star, this Dairy Queen is right near my house. My aunt and I went to this location after dinner because we wanted some icecream. When my aunt got hers she expressed that it did not taste right. Also the photo shown below is what mine looked like right when i got it, if im not mistaken it shouldn't be so melted and i believe it should look different. However, I still ate mine not wanting to cause problems. It was alright. The employees were kind, however when my aunt went to try to exchange hers and she had a hard time. Also, when they give you the drinks they should do a flip test. They did not, it is shown on the receipt that if they do not you should get one free, i did not.

We walked to Dairy Queen and inside wasn't open and they wouldn't let us go through the drive through. We had to make an online order and wait 25 minutes in the sun. One woman's only job was to kick everyone out if they went inside because she was on her phone. They didn't flip our blizzards upside down because they were melting already.

The visit to DQ was okay! Im happy they remodeled the place but the custom service needs to be better. I guess we went when the crew was a bunch of teenagers. Teenagers equals PLAY TOO damn much! My blizzard was good almost $5 for a small and babe got a dipped cone. Around $3 I believe. He was happy with his!! Thanks DQ!

My husband wanted banana split at DQ so I went to this place since is on my way home. First time here. So I ordered 2 banana splits at the drive thru. Didnt have much to say. When my brother share half of his banana split to me, Im gladly to taste it to see how is it. A little bit of disappointed . Not a lot of ice cream but lots of whip cream. I asked my hubby how is his and he said same thing, more whip cream than ice cream. So, nah-ah for me. However, they have a good health score.

    Lovin' the retro!

Dairy Queen on a warm summer night. You can't beat it! They have a patio area to sit with your honey and eat your dipped cones or whatever form your DQ weakness finds itself. You'll find yourself among old timers eating foot long slaw dogs and families anxiously awaiting their order.

The best customer service around! The night crew is always friendly, smiling, and makes you feel welcome even if they are about to close. They help recommend things when you just can't make up your mind. lol Patio area available to enjoy being outside on nice days. Plenty of parking, even for big trucks. Sometimes you can see 3 or 4 firetrucks there when the firemen (and women) decide to stop by for some ice cream. I always recommend stopping by in the afternoon or anytime on Saturday.

Tax deduction #2 first star treat. It wasn't a push up but it tasted close enough.

Good customer, decent ice cream, and food. I saw one of the employees bring a group of people their orders. I thought that was pretty cool. I appreciate they had the air set to 73 degrees because 5/1/16 is a humid, sticky day. Icecream and such will set you back $12 for 4 people. The restuarant was clean for the most part and people were enjoying their treats. Will come back. In all honesty I was shocked east Indians weren't running the show, they usually are in most dairy queens I've been to. This one appears American owned, no wonder the prices were reasonable! Lol lol those who frequent dairy queen KNOW what I'm talking about.

Over halfway done. STILL got them toppinssssss

I opted out of the arugula that comes on it by default. I also got their mac n' cheese, and a chocolate shake. It may be the way their brisket blend always is, but the burger patty was a bit tough or overcooked compared to what I'm used to with a standard Angus beef burger or steak burger. It also lacked seasoning, but was saved by the goat cheese and jam. The bun was ok, and it was very messy as 3 of my 4 fried green tomatoes slid out immediately along with a healthy portion of goat cheese and jam. I ate at their outdoor seating area so no biggy, but I definitely wouldn't eat this in your car. However, the fried green tomatoes were very good. The mac n cheese was mediocre and the chocolate shake was good but had an overpowering flavor of Hershey's syrup. Even though it was very busy between the cars at the drive thru and delivery drivers waiting for order pickups, my meal came out in about five minutes. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I've eaten burgers all over the world and I would recommend the visit, but it doesn't rank anywhere near my top 25. Since this was my first visit I plan on returning a couple more times soon so I can try other burger options and update my review if I experience anything different. Burger: 3.7/5 (the toppings carried it) Mac n cheese: 2.5/5 Shake: 3.5/5 Note: No indoor seating. Outside seating available.

I'd sent it to my better half and he said, "let's go." OK... it's a hole in the wall in a strip center. But you know that sometimes those places are absolutely wonderful. And this was one of those times. From the time we walked in, we were welcomed. The lady working the front went through the menu... explained the options and even told us about options that weren't listed. I decided on the Heat Combo... the hubby decided on the Regular Combo. You're going to find that everything is made to order. So nothing just sitting around. The sandwiches are what I'd call burritos in a bun. Wrapped in foil and then paper. We were warned to keep the foil on... And with good reason! These are not sit in the car and eat sandwiches. They're moist... they're juicy and DELICIOUS! Now, I got the one called the Heat. It was not overly spicy but had a good level of heat. I was told if you like it spicy, just ask for hot sauce. I'm kinda torn by that because the general flavor of the sandwich is really good and wouldn't want to cover that up. The Combo comes with thick potato wedges. They were good and neither of us were able to finish all of them. They have some side dipping sauces I want to try next time. We opted to dine in. The dining room is a bit small and standard. There are only about 4 or 5 tables. But, it's clean (spotless clean) and does the trick. I imagine if it's busy it can get quite full. Honestly... this style of food is pretty unique to the Metro. It's not quite a Philly Restaurant... it's not quite a traditional Chili Shop... It's more of what you'd see with a "loose meat" restaurant from the Midwest. But whatever you think it is, it works. And we'll be back!

Great service and great food. Highly recommend. I will be back to try additional dishes very soon.read more

The sausage was ok, it had cheese inside of it. All of the sides were average to good. I like that the platter was served with onions, good pickles, and white bread. The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.
