1. Drive Thru speaker was broken with no sign saying so...after waiting for over 7 minutes for the cars ahead to move had to go inside 2. Cashier did not greet a single customer including myself 3. When I told cashier the ice machine was out she did not fill it in the over 15 minutes I was waiting or offer to get ice for my beverage 4. Chili cheese dogs were sent out as chili dogs TWICE 5. 6 piece chicken strip that was paid for was a 4 piece chicken strip 6. Strawberry shake had very little strawberry flavoring or strawberry because the container was empty and same cashier did not appear eager to refill it before making my shake Obviously I won't be wasting my time or money at my local DQ ever again :( Terribly sad as our town has so little to offer as it is. read more

Burgers were cold and stale, they couldn't use my coupon from the app, the chicken strip basket was $10 for 3 chicken strips that were the size of a chicken nugget and got maybe 8 fries at best. Asked for new burgers for them to also be the same as the first. Would not recommend this place for their food or bad service! We will not be back! read more

Took 20 min of standing in line to order and another 20 min to get our food there was not enough staff which I understand but if you see a lot of vehicles in the lot it could be a wait. Zero stars. They forgot the gravy in the chicken strip basket. No syrup/fudge added to Cookie Dough Blizzard. Blizzards weren't even full. Went back through drive through and was told she put 2 pumps is as she is suppose to. Complete lie - it was plain vanilla. I did get the gravy on the 2nd time around but the containers were SO small. Order wasn't close to correct, did not provide spoons or lids for the sundaes or blizzards. Dining room was closed, so I tried calling since the drive-through line was long. Finally stopped an employee who claim to be the manager outside who said that they don't answer the phone among other excuses as to why food was wrong, cold. Don't waste your time or money here. Went here for the first time, and the DQ only had 2 people working total: 1 person behind the grill, and 1 person making the blizzards. The girl who made our blizzards was very nice and made them all correctly. We had to wait a total of 25-30 minutes for our ice cream, even with one person ahead of us. Their ice shaver machine was also down. Note to management: have more than 2 people working at a time in the store!! read more

Hit or miss, I've been coming here for years on our way up to our cabin in Garrison. It's better to skip the food and just get ice cream because for the last few times I've had to wait 20+ minutes and wind up with cold burgers and fries. My drink also tasted like carbonated water, the syrup definitely was out. I didn't bother going back as it would've taken another 20 minutes just to get through the line again, ended up just throwing it all out and getting snacks from the gas station next door. If you really want a fast food burger on your drive up north you might as well drive to McDonald's in Garrison, it takes the same amount of time to get to there as it did for me to get my cold food here. read more

We just ordered food from the drive thru because the inside was closed due to new management. We ordered a crispy chicken flamethrower meal and a 4 piece chicken strip basket with two ranch and a gravy. We got down the road and all settled. We opened the bag to find a flamethrower BURGER with a tiny piece of bacon, 4 cold chicken strips no fries what so ever when there should have been two orders, cold gravy and the vanilla shake with out the whip cream and cherry. The vanilla shake wasn't a big deal but once we realized we just paid someone's hourly wage for two suppose to be meals, it was upsetting that not just that was messed up, our whole order was. I hope that this message gets to the right people so it can be fixed and doesn't happen to others. read more

So I thought I`d give this location a second chance, bad idea. When I got to the window, I asked for a manager to discuss my last visit they gave me another teenager who claimed to be a manager who of course had to discuss the issue with "her boss". I was offered no apology let alone compensation for their mistake.I was told they could help me if I had a receipt, unfortunately they don`t give receipts.This tidbit earned a chuckle from "the manager". Needless to say, no satisfaction from my previous visit. Let`s move on to this visit shall we? Since we know the last visit didn`t end well, I did get a receipt, for all it was worth. I get my food, pulled ahead to check the order only to discover whoever took it, got it wrong. I ordered 2 of the bacon sandwiches, a large fry & a large cheese curd. I received one bacon sandwich & a 1/2 pound burger of some sort the large cheese curd & a small fry (which of course I didn`t notice until I got home). Back through the drive through I go to correct the burger error. A young man comes to the window, I explained the situation, he takes the wrong burger & the receipt & hands me the correct burger. He never gave me the price difference back & without the receipt, I can`t do anything anyway. Now I`m questioning whether or not to eat the food I did get because I`ve heard horror stories in the past. There are no 3rd chances, I will not return to this location. read more

This is your typical Dairy Queen in northern Minnesota. We enjoy stopping here for a snack on our way home from our cabin in Garrison. Our favorites are the cheese curds and blizzards... And a peanut butter bash on occasion. And our dogs love the pup cups. read more

Good food, no problems. there is only a drive through though. they don't have a sign that makes it very clear either, it only says drive through open. they do have a place in the building where you could possibly sit people but when they did have it open it wasn't very clean. sat in the parking lot to eat, had to tell others who parked that it was drive through only, most of them drove away after being told that. one lady even made a comment that it wasn't clean on the inside when it was open. read more
