After hearing about this particular Dairy Queen, I decided to check it out despite the mediocre to terrible reputation. To my surprise, it wasn't as bad as the previous reviewers claimed it is. The fish sandwich the vendor recommended wasn't anything special nor was it terrible apart from its cheap and flimsy appearance but the blizzards on the other hand are pretty great. In this photo you'll see a banana split blizzard and I checked and there were real bananas. The shake has a thick, yet soft consistency and the bananas were soft and tasted fresh. If blizzards aren't your thing and you want cake for some reason you'll be delighted to know this Dairy Queen somehow sells them, albeit I didn't try them. All in all: I recommend their blizzards and I say this place is still worth a chance in my books. read more

Who knew Dairy Queen was so great?! I guess millions of people, eh? Well I'm late on the draw. I've driven up to Oshkosh twice in the past week and these DQs are as common as McDonald's and Burger King's...maybe even more so. Now at this particular location, the workers were a bit scatterbrained. They were busy talking to each other and they worked with the most lackadaisical movement I've ever seen. One lady was just standing waiting for her order to be taken and one worker yelled to the other, I already took care of her! And the lady waiting yelled back, No you didn't! I'm thinking they thought it was still me up at the register. They forgot my drink until I asked for it and took a good 8 minutes to make my blizzard with no other customers in sight. So is this location fantastic? I'm going to say uh, no. However after never having had their food before I was pretty happy with it. $5 between 11-4 gets you a lunch deal. I got 3 chicken fingers, a boatload of fries, drink and blizzard (it comes with a sundae but I upgraded to a blizzard for a buck more). This was so much food it not only lasted me lunch but a decent dinner, too. read more

I was beyond disappointed. I got to the window to pay and no greeting and they held my card for over three minutes. Then the girl in the window just had her back to the window while they were playing around in there. I Got one sundea and two shakes. Gave me sundae within 7 minutes and then waited longer for two simple shakes. I could see the employees eating and drinking while standing there talking. 10 minutes go by and I went inside and demanded my shakes. And the shakes were melted and nasty. read more

When you order a blizzard you expect a blizzard, not a shake. It would help if they didn't make it till you got to the window.

I ordered a chicken strip 4 piece basket with cheese curds and bbq sauce. I got ranch sauce and old cold French fries. I called the store asking for them to send my correct food and was told they don't hire delivery drivers. I got a ton of attitude from the store manager. I will never go back there. I also ordered a blue raspberry slushie and saw something stuck on the inside of the glass which was a big piece of scotch tape. Gross! I normally wouldn't be as upset but I ordered through eat street so I paid 20$ for a chic strip basket :( so disappointed read more

SOOOOO, my boyfriend and I visited this location just a bit ago. We noticed we did NOT have enough butter on his toast and most importantly the gravy sauce for his chicken tenders. HE LOVES HIS CHICKEN TENDERS WITH GRAVY, not with that flimsy little ranch packet you provided us with. We are very concerned that the chefs at this establishment do not care about their jobs. I went through drive through at around 4:30 on June 2, ordered two double cheeseburgers and two large fries. The burgers were horrible, the buns were hard and dry, the burger was cold and the cheese was just a slab of cheese and not melted. I have always loved the cheeseburger. on a good note the fries were hot and yummy, so what they couldn't heat the burgers while the fries were cooking. Will not be back read more

Didn't get what we ordered and the manager was rude and unprofessional. My husband went through the drive-up at 9:00 p.m. last night and ordered two peanut buster parfaits. He said the outside lights were turned off as he was waiting. When he got out of his car the bottom ripped out of the bag. While they weren't even close to being parfaits. I tried it eat it but was like one of their soda glasses full of solid chunk of ice milk with lumps in it with a few peanuts thrown in and a drizzle of chocolate on it. I didn't call until today as I assumed they closed. When I called to complain to the manager, Trina, she was rude and basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about and they always serve it the same way. In fact it usually is in a clear plastic cup and it was in one of that cups like soft drinks come in. She told me I should have called last night and that they did not turn off the light early. She refused to give me the owners name, said she couldn't give out that information and said she would leave the complaint on his desk. We have gone to this DQ before 10:00 p.m. in the past and the lights are off and they won't serve you. I can see not wanting to serve from the grill but ice cream treats?? I am sure because they are young kids they want to be out the door at 10:00 p.m. If they don't want our business we will now drive to the one off Koeller from now on. It's too bad because they are so close to where we live. Don't recommend. Slow service hard to get back out on Murdock afterwards. read more

This is a pretty awful Dairy Queen which I do understand we are talking about DQ so its not that much of a stretch to be bad but this one takes the cake for being terrible. The cashier got my order wrong, wasn't a huge mistake and I didn't say anything because my food took FOR-EV-ER to come out. In reality it was about 20 minutes but still. Could have gotten Five Guys quicker than that. I ordered a BBQ wrap and a burger. I was given the Buffalo wrap instead of the BBQ one. If the burger actually tasted good, I would have sworn they slaughtered its, processed it, and made the burgers right then and there with the amount of time it took. Unfortunately, they tasted like burgers that you forgot about for 2 years in the freezer but don't want them to go to waste so you cook them up anyway. I was the only one at the restaurant. I probably should have taken that as a sign that I needed to run far away. I wish I could say something good about this place but its old and falling apart and the people who work there dont seem to care. I don't even want to try the ice cream because it would probably make me cry. read more

We ordered a turtle sundae and a salted caramel crunch blizzard. The turtle sundae came with 3 cups of ice cream and a tablespoon of chocolate & caramel. No cherry. I brought it back and asked for a new one with more toppings, which they were really nice about. Brought it back to the table, and it was still inedible, as was the blizzard. The quality of ice cream is very very poor. We threw our ice creams out & went to Leon's, down the street. Lesson learned. read more

Besides tables and lobby being dirty. We got out food fast. Wish they would have given us a tray for our food. Manager came with fingers around tray. We are the only ones in here and everyone is small talking in the back. We can here them from our table. No reason tables should be dirty. The 5-6 times I've been here there has always been a problem. They're either out of a flavor of ice cream or just get the order wrong and don't fix it. This is a very poorly managed Dairy Queen and now that I have given them enough chances, I will not be going back. read more

Been going here for over 10 years. This place gets worse each year. Last time we waited 15 minutes without even placing an order. There was only one other customer at the time... we drove to mcdonalds, got our food, and drove past to see the one other customer finally getting his food. Wait in drive through can be long if customers in front order food, ice cream treats very soft/melted. When we go in the store the workers are nice but need more guidance / direction on how to provide better service. Need to fix this issues. read more
