HUGE single scoop of you get two flavors for just $5 Got the cookies and cream which is my favorite and caramel pecan as well. Suggest getting a bowl as it melts quickly (which means it's made fresh) Make sure to get the sugar cone!

The sundae was so good! Came with one scoop of ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter, a brownie, & whipped cream :) the space was very open with lots of place to sit inside & then a couple of spots outside. Also right on the lake so it has some nice scenery. Service was quick & they made it on the spot! The line & where to order was the only thing that was a little unorganized but when we went in there, it wasn't too busy. It might be a little more hectic to navigate if it was busier.

Good ice cream. Definitely should stop in but they do not accept Credit or Debit cards. Cash only

A must do while in Waupaca. This place is hidden behind the Wheelhouse. Parking can be tricky but well worth it. My favorite is rocky road. The picture I took is "kids scoop" and is plenty. The over sized scoops make this place very shareable. With so many flavors to choose from and containers of plastic, waffle, brownie or sugar cones the possibilities are endless. Save room for dessert and come get a scoop or 3!

I went canoeing with my husband on July 4th and we needed something cold after. This place is right next to the boat launch so we wandered in. They serve Cedar Creek ice cream. I am happy to say I overhead a local telling someone else to get the kid's serving size and it is HUGE. I am really glad I did as it was the perfect serving size. I opted to have the waffle cone with peanut butter Mackinac island fudge. It was delicious. If you are in the area stop in you cannot beat $2.50 for an ice cream cone.

Cedar crest ice cream and in the heart of the chain of lakes! What a great place to drive up by land or sea. Be sure to get two flavors on a single waffle cone for your best value! Definitely enough to share :)

Taking our son to his first ever visit to Scoopers!

The enjoy in quotations is because what would have been a five star experience was knocked down due to the chips and salsa. The salsa was blah but still bordered on overly sweet, and the chips were funky. I mean they were so funkadelic that they tainted our enjoyment of the cheese sauce, and by all that is holy in the Cheesehead state, you don't detract from cheesy deliciousness with sketchy chips. So Mexico Grill & Bar, fix that flaw. Now, I had the Azteca Special and my husband went with the Burrito Fiesta. Both had the right perfection of flavor and were decimated: no to-go boxes needed. My husband also had fried ice cream for dessert. It's been years since he's had a proper fried ice cream that's actually deep fried that he almost cried with delight when they brought it to him. He devoured it in no time.

Chips and salsa were warm and just needed a good sprinkling of salt. I had the California special which included grilled chicken and shrimp with LOTS of veggies (carrots, squash, broccoli, mushrooms, and onions) in a cheese sauce and rice. The chicken and shrimp were beautifully seasoned and tender, not overcooked and dry. The salad was crisp with more fresh crunchy veggies and a nice sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Hubby had a steak and cheese quesadilla. Lots of cheese (see photo of cheese pull) and savory fajita steak. Service was thoughtful and had frequent checks for more water or any need we may have had. Atmosphere was friendly with lots of customers. We didn't have a wait even though we got there around noon. We will definitely return and plan on trying more options.

I showed the owner a simple layer cake from their Facebook page with frosting flowers up the side and on the top. I provided a topper for the cake. Nothing fancy. I came to pick it up the morning of my wedding and the girl at the counter looked confused and had to go ask a man that was there about it. He looked around for several minutes also confused then directed her to a cheesecake in the display case that has whip cream on top (which wasn't fresh because the whip cream was no longer set). He said "just give her that one." Then I heard him calling someone in the back to ask where the cake was. As I peer around the corner, I see him getting a cake out of a display cooler that matches a small cake next to it. This cake had cookie-like flowers on the top that were nothing like what I had asked for. My cake topper is not on it. He starts boxing it up and tells me $70. I said, "I know thats not my cake, and I need to get to my hair appt. I will come back and I hope you get this figured out." He says nothing, but the whole time my daughter and I can tell that they didn't have my cake. My hair appt took quite a while, so I directed my husband to take care of it. He went to the bakery (which had finally found my cake topper) and was told that the items they tried to sell me were my order (New York style cheesecake does not have whipcream on it - nor did we ask for it). They said they could wipe the whip cream off , and they told him thats how all of their frosting flowers are made - like cookies that crumble. He mentioned we had shown a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like from their fbook page. He was then told that the picture was of a cake a customer had brought in and that they never made that cake. This blows my mind because why would you have it on your page then - nothing like false advertising. If they couldn't make the cake like what I had shown them when I ordered it - they should have said something at the time! What really happened is they never made my order to begin with and tried to pass off an old display cheesecake and someone else's cake instead and charge me full price - then lied to us about it! I would think twice before ordering anything important from this bakery. I left a comment about the situation on the picture of the cake I had wanted and they deleted my comment and blocked me. Don't believe all of their good reviews - they censor the bad ones.

Staff weren't overly welcoming or chatty--no carried conversation or small talk--but they were polite and friendly enough. If you're looking for warm, high-energy service, this might not be the spot, but if you're okay with a more reserved vibe, it works. There was a bit of a wait for our drinks, which felt a little long considering we were the only customers being helped at the time. That said, the quality of the drinks made up for it. I had the lavender lemonade--super refreshing and light. My partner tried the orange cream chai and really enjoyed the flavor balance. Both drinks were thoughtfully made and tasty. That said, if I were in the area again, there's another local coffee shop I'd likely choose first--it had a more welcoming atmosphere and a similar drink quality. Still, this spot was a pleasant stop with creative options and might be just right for someone seeking a quieter, more laid-back experience.

The cheese curds arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly tasting... absolutely delicious! The old fashions and Bloody Marys were also made to perfection. The bread basket was a nice touch, although as a typical Wisconsin supper club fan, I was surprised the relish tray came at an extra charge instead of being included. The dining experience itself was unique and welcoming. The servers greeted us at the bar and escorted us to our table once it was prepared and the salads were already set out for us. The smoked salmon appetizer was a bit disappointing, as it was essentially a piece of smoked salmon served over lettuce with capers and crackers. My steak had quite a bit of gristle, although the flavor itself was very good. The standout dish of the night was definitely the pork ribs....you can absolutely tell why they are known for them because they were delicious! Overall, I would recommend checking this place out for the atmosphere, drinks, service, and their famous ribs.
