Came with one scoop of ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter, a brownie, & whipped cream :) the space was very open with lots of place to sit inside & then a couple of spots outside. Love this for the location, it's charm, and of course the friendly girls scooping your favorite flavor of Cedar Crest Ice Cream. It'd be awesome if they put in an old school Ms. Pac Man game or some other throwbacks. Consistently HUGE scoops. Tables outside can get super duper sticky (obviously), and the mosquitoes get thick. A must do while in Waupaca. This place is hidden behind the Wheelhouse. Parking can be tricky but well worth it. My favorite is rocky road. The picture I took is "kids scoop" and is plenty. The over sized scoops make this place very shareable. With so many flavors to choose from and containers of plastic, waffle, brownie or sugar cones the possibilities are endless. I went canoeing with my husband on July 4th and we needed something cold after. This place is right next to the boat launch so we wandered in. They serve Cedar Creek ice cream. I am happy to say I overhead a local telling someone else to get the kid's serving size and it is HUGE. I am really glad I did as it was the perfect serving size. I'm a Chicagoan... yeah, I said it. And even I can tell the difference between ice cream that uses real cream versus ice cream that doesn't. And this place actually uses REAL cream! Don't believe me - come to Chicago where they don't use real moo-juice. I visit this location almost every chance I get when I'm spending my time in the area. It's basically the only place I NEED to visit after boating around the amazingly beautiful lakes! Otherwise, if I don't, It's the same feeling I get when I forget to put on deodorant for the day. It can be a bit crowded, but the lines move fast. They've got so many yummy flavors, and their prices are extremely reasonable for what you get that you'll forget you ever stood in line. And what you get is the largest single scoop of ice cream you'll ever eat! Although, you better remember to bring cash because that's all they accept. It's a bummer, but it's well worth hunting down an ATM... I think they have one of those in their store (don't quote me, though.) Did I also mention there is a mini arcade tucked away beyond the fire place? It can be a little difficult to balance your cone while playing an arcade game, but it's even more fun watching a friend juggle the two for you! Once again, this place is well worth getting out of your boat and heading in to. You'll be surprised how lifted your spirit will be and how happy you'll feel after some good ol' fashioned REAL ice cream! :D read more

I love Scoopers! They have a ton of flavors, my favorite being Coconut Joy. You get a huge amount of ice cream for the price, which is pretty cheap. If you go there and the girl with the curly red hair is working, have her make you a frappucino. She made me one once--with mocha, almond syrup, and coconut--it was like heaven. I fantasize about that drink sometimes. Service is good, product is great, prices are good. I'll be there again and again, and I recommend it. read more

Our favorite spot to walk to at night when we are in Wisconsin to visit our grandparents. We've been going to Waupaca for the last 19 years and we would always wait until it got dark outside and then walk with our flashlights for ice cream. Was recently at Scoopers as one of the leaders of a camp bringing boys there on a trip. We had 15 boys arrive by bike all get helped with smiles and then we brought in a group of 20 boys immediately after that. Scoopers kept 2 ladies helping our group and one line for their other customers. Service was phenomenal, with only smiles, they did a great job of tracking all of the transactions, and who doesn't love a "single scoop" of ice cream that would be four scoops at other places.
