Until this weekend, I hadn't been to a Five Guys in years. Sometimes when you skip breakfast and you're on the road, a burger before 11 a.m. sounds like just the thing. We checked the hours for Five Guys before exiting the highway, and they were supposed to open at 10:30. Approaching the parking lot, we were certain that this was wrong since the parking lot was empty. But, the sign in the window said open so we tried the doors. Open! We found a friendly server and placed our order. We munched on a few peanuts in the shell while waiting. The dining space didn't have a ton of seating, but enough for the patrons that visited while we were there. And there was fair amount of customers in and out before 11. Soon we were enjoying fresh patties, which were cooked fresh in sight. We each had a burger and shared a side of fries, which is generous, for around $24. We also noticed they had a small burger, small fry, and small drink offer for a value price of $13, which is a nice deal. read more

First let me say that the food was great as usual. My problem is with the price and the implication of a required tip. I understand that hamburger meat is expensive but $12 for a single patty cheese burger is well... NUTS! Then after the credit card is run, the display offers a choice of three levels for a tip. Mind you this is before I have tasted a bite. If I choose not to tip here, how might this affect my order? Not only that, they won't even bring your order to the table. Come on guys, this is fast food! Pay your workers!!! The total for two cheeseburgers, two small fries and two small drinks with this ridiculous tip was over $51. That is absolutely obscene. It's probably my last visit. Culver's is right next door and about half the price, no tip required and they bring your food to the table. The five guys value proposition in fading away. read more

Was just passing through and needed some dinner. Never had Five Guys before and heard it was amazing. I found it to be quite good. The burger had good flavor. No complaints. The fries were also excellent, having both the salted and Cajun varieties. The menu selection is fairly limited - you had better want a burger and fries if you come here! This is one of the best burger places I have ever been. It's one chain that you get the outstanding service and food everytime you go. I usually get a bacon cheeseburger. It's always delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly. They also have lettuce wrapped burgers or a burger in a bowl which has been what I have been getting lately. Pro tip... Add grilled Jalapeños to your burger. They post where the potatoes that made your fries come from. They also have delicious milkshakes with free mixins. Coca Cola with lots of different choices if you do not want a shake. Walked in and got shouted at asking how many patties we wanted. Seeing how this was my first visit I didn't know what that meant or why they were shouting it at me instead of saying "Hello!". When our cashier came over to help us she went to the register and an older man came up behind her took her by her shoulders and physically moved her to a different register, that is not okay. Our food took a long time to get and when we received our burgers they were lukewarm and the buns were soggy. Taste was just ok, not what I expected for the price. While we were eating a glass object broke. The crew was attentive to pick it up but decided to use the broom they sweep the floors with on the counter where people order. They did not clean the counter after the broom swept it. This unsanitary cleaning made me lose the appetite I had left. Bathrooms were not clean, unknown substance dripping from walls... This was our first experience with this restaurant and needless to say it will be our last. read more

I honestly stopped here because Culvers drive through was way too long. The employees were nice, however the food is overpriced. I got a small burger and small fry and paid almost $11. Definitely not worth it. I was very disappointed, the bun in the little burger was bigger than the burger. read more

Great French fries. Food has to be ordered at the counter and then is brought out to you. Be careful not to get a double meat burger! Menu isn't clear about the number of patties. Standard burgers so save room for fries! read more

So I came in on a Saturday I've been here before and as usual I get my drink and I got some of those Dasani flavored water when I push the button it was so for about one second and then stopped I talked to the young manager who gave me a bit of an attitude and said all I could go to Bubba blah and then told me well it's not that big of a deal I think I'm not going to be back for a while and I highly recommend to others not to go to this particular store read more

I just tried curb side here. I tried stopping by and calling. No one answered the phone. I was in the parking lot and I tried honking my horn as I saw an individual looking the other way at the counter probably on their telephone. I honked several times he never moved and I drove away. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. Please help local businesses, they provide much better service. read more

Although the hamburgers tasted ok, we waited 22 minutes for our order of 2 burgers. They were not busy. Order was incorrect. The 4 orders picked up before us all had problems too. I was here yesterday with my family for lunch after a stressful morning of holiday shopping and the service blew me away! Every single worker went above and beyond. I have never received such genuine and welcoming service at an establishment like this. I will keep coming back and raving about the wonderful service and delicious food. The burgers are simply okay but very expensive for 3 people it was 50 dollars they also don't hire the best employees one of them didn't speak English and drank my mother and I's milkshakes the rest of the employees weren't friendly and at first refused to make my mother and I new shakes the free peanuts though was a cool idea and my family really liked it read more

Took forever to receive the food, then it was lukewarm. Fries were salty and greasy. Had a veggie and reg burger w/med fries no drink and over 15.00! Blah tasting food, "free peanuts" were ok however. All table were not cleaned and floors were sticky. Not sure what they mean by fantastic buns and all as they were nothing special. This is a fast food joint, so not sure what some of the reviews mean by phenomenal service. I recommend bypassing and going to Red Robin like my husband mentioned and I said to give them a chance.
