Ice cream tasted a bit like expired milk and sadly it took a while to get attended because the employees (expect for one) would rather chat in the drive thru instead of addressing the issue immediately. The one employee that asked what was wrong told the other 2 but they kinda just brushed it off and continued to chat and when they finally got to me they insisted they changed the ice cream on Thursday. Not fully upset though since most of the time the employees either take forever to attend you or immediately have an attitude. read more

White privilege is getting served before the only black person in the store. So i had to wait 15 minutes for a shake & a spicy patty melt but every white person got their shakes and ice cream before they even had a chance to sit down. The manager even yelled at the woman taking orders about making massa's orders faster because they were falling behind but never once asked what did this black man order & why is it taking so long to get him his food? Waited in line for 15 minutes and no one ever came on the speaker to take our order. We pulled up to the window to place our order and the attendent had an attitude once we advised that we weren't able to place an order. We had to wait on another worker to take our order and he didn't seem to know what was available on the menu so I picked another item which was sloppily made. I will never visit this location after 5 p.m. and I advise you save yourself some time and frustration and not visit either. read more

If there's a 0 Star I would give to this location. I've been ordered a banana split and have to hit back to Houston before dark, pineapple in banana split tasted like it's been left outside of refrigerator several days and tasted really really bad. I really like this spot. The ladies that has help was very nice. Lady must have been the manager of the place. She had real pretty eyes. All I can say is those lunch specials are on point. Chicken tenders specials are cook to order I think. Because I seat down and work on them. That Oreo blizzard that comes with it was real good. This will be a go to spot for awhile now. Bathrooms clean the whole place is clean. Food is dam good!!! Out of all the DQ'S I have been to this one is good to me. Take it from me don't let those bad reviews keep you away from this place. Well... been in line for 15min and still nothing. After ordering, I rolled up to the window. I sat there with my card ready for 5 or so minutes while the employees stood right at the window just talking and laughing. It was actually really awkward. Finally I paid, and she asked me to pull around to the front. That was nearly 10min ago. There's cars in front and behind me... no one gets food. Even if people behind us got food, they wouldn't be able to get out, they're so backed up. read more

Worst Dairy Queen ever! I ordered the tacos they were just thrown in the box unwrapped. I love Dairy Queen tacos and have never had a bad experience at any other location. I had the box on my lap for a second while I drove off and when I removed the box my lap was covered with grease. The tacos were greasy, sloppily prepared and nasty. They have the DQ sign out front and it looks like a Texas DQ--but they don't have any of the specials advertised by DQ, they don't honor any of the DQ coupons (including the app specials) and their own house 'lunch combo specials' which are not written down anywhere prove to not come with a drink (whoever heard of a combo with no drink). So add $2 to each of those. Crooked. Dairy Queen should be ashamed of letting them damage the brand. If you want real DQ drive on south on 45 to Ennis...or eat somewhere else where you can count on the brand to mean something. Dairy Queen should never allow this, and our family will make them pay economically until they do something about it. read more

If you want fresh food, come here. After placing your order at the drive thru, you will be asked to proceed to wait at the stop sign so that your order is cooked fresh. If you call it in ahead it time, you're most likely to get your food at the window without a wait. If there is any type of mix up, management is always happy to correct things to satisfy the customer. read more
