WOW!!! How is this place in business?? I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Get it home (around the corner). It's SUPER cold, but I just figured, it is what it is. Until....i look and there is no burger patty. Literally NONE. The cheese is in broken pieces. The veggies are a mess. I wrap it up. Take it back. They ADD the meat and rewrap the burger in the same paper. They hand me the rewrapped, still cold burger with their bare hands and say "here ya go". I look at it. They ask "oh, do you want a bag?" I just walked out. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I expected a freshly made burger, in a freshly wrapped package in a bag. I know these are children that are working there, but isn't the manager supposed to oversee and possibly train? Is this the norm for fast food customer service in Kingsland? We got there and they took forever to stop talking and finally take our friend's order (which was 2 small blizzards). While we were right behind them in line it took them 10 minutes to finally take our order for 2 Blizzards and a Dilly bar. We sat down inside and THEY FORGOT ABOUT OUR ORDER. We walked up and they were handing out orders to customers who came in at least 10 minutes after us. I start with- I don't normally think of Dairy Queen when I think of someplace to eat. But, today I took my grandchildren there for lunch. I have nothing but praise for the staff working at lunch today. They went way over to make sure we were taken care of. Believe me, a little grandmother with two demanding small children presents challenges. They continued to make sure all was well. When my granddaughter dropped her chicken strip, they brought a new order. No one ever acted as though we were a lot of trouble.....we were. Thanks to those working today. Ordered the spicy chicken strips and was given half regular and half spicy. I know this is a fast food establishment so I wasn't expecting a gourmet dish, but I do expect good customer service! When I brought the issue to an employees attention she asked me, "Is that all? Thank you," and continued about her day. Once I got her attention again I asked for the manager and pointed out the issue. She asked me if I was sure because all the product came from the same bag. I showed her the difference and told her I could taste the difference between spicy and not. I'm sure they fry the strips in the same basket or oil, but once I had brought the product to her all I wanted was the mistake resolved! Wish I could give zero stars. Here on 10/03 around 7:00 pm. We order a patty melt meal and a triple bacon burger (plain & dry) meal. They bring it out shortly. Husband bites into his triple burger. First bite he spits it out thinking there was lettuce or tomato on it. IT WAS A USED BANDAID. A. USED. BANDAID. WITH BLOOD ON IT. Was so disgusted we forgot to take a photo. Take it up to the counter immediately for a refund. All the manager did was tell them to put gloves on and he was sorry and refunded the money. I got a text message from my father the other day saying "Dairy Queen was much better with you here " The staff at this Dairy Queen is unbelievable during this pandemic. here's what my father told me about his visit. " The guy was standing there playing & picking his nose standing over the ice cream machine making people's ice creams , his face mask was under his chin , & everyone else's was below their noses. The only person wearing the mask right with gloves was the cook. The first time they bring the wrong order then we waited EVEN longer .... I really debated telling them to give me a refund & take the food back. Not a single person had gloves on. " My parents wouldn't make it thought this sickness if they got it. Hubby and I went here to get a blizzard after the 3rd time Sonic has failed miserably with their blasts. If I wanted vanilla ice cream in a cup then that's what I would've ordered. Anywho we ordered a large brownie blizzard & a small Reece's blizzard. Our blizzards were not only made quick, but they were packed with chocolate goodness. Perfect! This Dairy Queen is quite slow even though we've only been there at night when there has been no other customers but at least 3 people working. I always make sure to go somewhere at least 3 times before judging and giving a bad review. All I had was ice cream which was nice and haven't had any food from there yet but one of the times they got my simple order wrong and it was something I couldn't eat and made me feel sick, the staff inside were chatting to each other and were distracted at what they were doing. The worst dairy queen I have ever been to. If you eat here make sure to eat INSIDE ONLY. If you use their drive thru you will have to wait until your hair turns grey for your food.
