If you're going here for a Blizzard you're safe, but basically every time I've eaten food from this location I've gotten sick.

50 MINUTES! 50 MINUTES....that is how long it took to complete my order! I placed an order online for curbside pick-up and then headed to DQ. I waited in the parking lot for at least 10-15 minutes before I went inside to see what was going on. My ticket was still on the machine. Nobody had seen it yet. They seemed like they were working on it so I went to wait in my truck again. I waited another 10-15 minutes and saw people (who got there after I did) coming out with their orders. So I went inside again. I basically had to stand at the counter and watch them until they completed my order. I usually never have any issues with this location. It seems when they get really busy, they lose track of who placed the order first. The staff seemed very lost and chaotic on this visit. read more

Dana is truly outstanding. She exemplifies true customer service. She checked on my family several times to see if we were doing well. She replenished our napkins and even asked if it would be okay to give balloons to my children. Low and behold, each balloon was filled with a coupon for a free cone. This woman is a gem and deserves a raise! It's the little things like this that makes our experience memorable. read more

I drove through yesterday for Blizzards for my family. While our desserts were delicious as always, I was extremely disappointed to see that none of your staff were wearing masks. I was wearing my mask at the drive-thru window, and overheard a staff member joke about it. I will not return to your restaurant until I see all staff are properly masked. The pandemic isn't even close to over. Please take care of the health of your employees and customers. Require masks! read more

We stop here every once in a while because its convenient, but honestly I'm not thrilled because it's more expensive than other DQs. I'd rather drive over to the old established location on 79 and I-35. Lunch here today, three hunger buster meals and small cones is $30. And is not gormet, its fast food, that wasn't delivered very fast. read more

I used to frequent this Dairy Queen quite a bit - the location is convenient for me and the establishment is extremely modern. It's always been a little more expensive than other DQs, but that didn't really bother me too much. The thing that made me stop going was their menu - they seemed to have pared it down quite a bit, to the point where I am not really sure what they offer. It's fine if you want a Blizzard - they will always sell those I'm sure - but if you're looking for the full DQ menu, you would be best served going somewhere else. read more

I have tried ordering food multiple times from this location when they are nowhere near closing, and they cancel the order every single time. Another time when my family went through the drive through, they told us to park and wait for our food. We did, but they ended up giving all of our food to another person. Usually the this DQ is very friendly - but tonight our experience was very different. The woman at the drive through window tried to overcharge us and when we corrected her she seemed angry and didn't apologize. We were kept waiting, being the only car in the drive-thru, and when the order was finally done she thrusted the order out the window and walked away. Austin Tx 78750... I waited almost 15 minutes for a banana split in the drive thru line and wow look at that mess... it wasn't even ready when they gave it to me seeing as though I stay 5 minutes away and this is what I open up to is SLOP... there's supposed to be chocolate and strawberry in it and where is it? They went crazy on the cool whip, but how freakin careless.... the line wrapped around the building shouldn't matter but the quality of any thing we pay for even $7.00 ice cream should... how disgusting for them to know something was wrong with their ice cream machine not working properly but take my money and send me home with such a slop.... and then 2 days ago I was there and they left out a drink and then handed me a dirty cup with fudge all over it.... WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN THEY DON'T care.... They force us to give a star but that is not deserved.... thank God I don't act the way I used to act but they can have that little money, but my business they won't ever get again it wasn't even edible and my money went right down the garbage disposal.... Buyer beware. Apparently franchises can make their own decisions about meals, combos, prices, etc. The steak finger "combo" meal I purchased was over $11. At this location you must buy your drink separate, even if what you're purchasing is called a "combo". The food was good, but if you're trying to pinch pennies, I wouldn't recommend eating meals here. It cost me $11, I cannot imagine how much it would cost for a family of 4 to dine, if they plan to charge $2.50 for every medium drink that's purchased with a "meal". Definitely just turned into an ice-cream only joint for my crew. read more

Do not waste your time! I went there on my lunch hour and waited 1/2 hour for my food. They started serving people that came in after me. That's when I knew I wasn't going to get my food. I don't eat Dairy Queen often, but I'm never disappointed when I do. Today I had the Jalapeño Hunger Buster. It was delicious. One of my favorite things here is the Peanut Buster Parfait. Also good are the Blizzards. A Snickers or Butter Finger are my favs. read more

Just had lunch here, it's a rare thing when I eat fast food, but I really wanted a Blizzard. The girl at the counter, Rayana, was super friendly and polite. Our order came out quick and hot. I wanted a Snickers Blizzard, but they didn't have any, so I settled on Reece's PB Cups. It was everything I wanted it to be. I ordered a mini (I'm trying to be reasonable!), but I wish I had ordered a small ...or maybe a medium. ...ok a large. I did find that $22 for a burger and fries, 6 chicken tenders with fries, a small drink, and a mini Blizzard was a bit excessive, but I do appreciate that they start pay for their employees at $12 an hour. read more

I love this place! Great and awesome service by all the staff and they genuinely seem to like to interact with the customer. I went 7/9/15 around 9pm and while I did not get the name of the people at the drive thru I do remember their friendliness to my family and especially to my two dogs in the back that got free dog treat with ice cream. The service of that staff will be the reason I go to this DQ and not the one by my home in Cedar Park, Tx. Also, by the staffs recommendation, I tried a freeze they made that tasted like Grape flavor Creamsicle. It was very very good. read more

What? A review for a fast food burger joint? Until recently, I haven't eaten at DQ in years. The burgers are outstanding. Fresh buns, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomatoes. I live smack dab between two Dairy Queens on 620, but I always choose to go to this one. The staff is incredibly nice and the restaurant is really well maintained. Frankly, it's the nicest DQ I've ever been to. After a bad experience at the other location, I am so glad to have found this one. I will definitely be back soon. read more

We took our boys there last night. They are 5 and 3. Each got to go to the counter and pick their own ice cream. I took videos of the attentiveness of the employees and loved the reactions I got from my boys. Some were FB worthy. Folks can complain about prices set by corporate and how one order was wrong, but these guys at the counter still treat everyone like family and it is reflected by the enthusiasm by my boys. Terrible food, horrible customer service and priced much higher than any DQ I have ever been to. My bun was soggy, they microwaved my hamburger bun with the burger on it. The employee in the drive through had his pants sagging with his underwear hanging out. I've been going to DQ since I was a kid. My family has always enjoyed the yummy treats. Sadly, on Monday at 4:30AM PM I experienced, quite possible, the rudest employee ever! I can't mention her by name because she didn't give me a receipt and the name on her name tag was strategically covered up...As I looked at her name tag seeking her name I'm almost positive that ...manager was on the tag...like assistant manager.... Needless to say I won't be returning to pay for rudeness....or $11.19 for a small burger, drink, & a mini blizzard... Too expensive! Sad that DQ is supporting this. read more
