I had such a wonderful experience at Daisy Field Farm. I was camping nearby and on a whim decided taking a ride on a horse was something I needed. The farm is adorable, as is the couple running it and the giant angel cloud of a dog who insisted on pets. My horse was lovely and a bit sassy. The guy running the trail rides is an absolute sweetheart. We chatted the whole ride, and it was such a nice experience. The trail is beautiful. Absolutely worth checking out! read more

Super friendly. My friends and I rode the horses while another friend spent his time chatting with the owner. Soooo friendly! (She even encouraged our friend to do their proposal at the farm when he is ready wink wink ) although he wasnt a paying customer he still got to explore the farm and watch the chickens and peacock and sheep. Great time! Trip was 4 of us and had their 15 year old grandson (Milo?) who was awesome! He was extremely friendly and made sure no one was left behind! Located on a private farm, Daisy Field Farm offers a unique twist on the classic Poconos riding stable. The owners give each rider a great deal of personal attention and make sure everyone has a good time. Even children as young as 4 or 5 are able to enjoy riding, which is almost unheard of at local stables My kids especially enjoy seeing all the wildlife up close. Every time we've gone, we've had deer and turkeys come within inches of us. This is THE place to go with little ones. Besides the beautiful trails, there are farm animals to pet, grassy hills to play on, and, perhaps best of all, the quirky owners to chat with. Mick is a biology major and photographer and can tell you anything you want to know about local fauna and wildlife. His wife, Judy, handles the office, and brings a warmth and vibrancy to the place which makes everything more fun. I can't recommend this place highly enough!! read more

This weekend was going to be the first time I ever went to Mount Poconos. We only had half a day on our hands and horseback riding was one of the things I was dying to do. A short google search later, we found Daisy Field Farms and spoke to the owner who was kind enough to find us a slot that matched our schedule. We even got 20mins late while getting there because our GPS totally screwed us over, but they were kind enough to wait and immediately got us horses when we got there. I got Stella who was a beautiful big horse, strong and obedient. We trotted with our horses in a single file over a small hill/mountain. I don't know what to call it, only trust me when I say this IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. The farm looks like it's come out of the pages of an adorable old school english farm illustration. There are wagons here and there, Dumbo the dog is super friendly, there are goats you can feed, and rabbits too. During the one hour ride, you're taken up and down and around a mountain, through forests and fields and by small lakes. It was a gorgeous day when we went and everything looked 10times prettier. The couple who run this place are super nice and the horses look very well taken care of. Summer vacations are on and their three adorable little grandsons were helping around the farm too. I was positively jealous and swear I never wanted to leave. I'll be back again for sure, this place just made me so so happy! read more

My Family and I loved this horse-riding experience! Our guide was very friendly, and even offered to take photos along the way so that we would not have to. The horses were well behaved and it would be a great ride for someone experienced or inexperienced in horseback riding. The scenery was beautiful as well as the wildlife, as we were able to spot a Baby Deer in broad daylight as well as the Mother was not too far behind. It was my son's first trail ride ever and they took note of this right away and carefully selected his horse. Mick was kind to my children and pointed out sites and animals to them along the way. I highly recommend this family run horsefarm. The guide, Mick, is awesome and his grandkids are very helpful. Even "Mrs. Mick" is wonderful. The ride was relaxing and well worth the drive. My 12-year old daughter was so happy, she asked to come back as soon as possible. The tour was relaxing, private, and enjoyable. I loved the conversation with Mick and am glad that he elected to own a horse farm. We need to patronize our farmers and keep them in business. This farm, in particular, is owned by a family of loving people who care about horses and each other. This shows in how they each interact with their customers. I had a really great time with my girlfriend on a weekend getaway. The owner was an older gentleman and he was very kind, helpful, and humble. The horses were beautiful. It's a beginner level ride, so helmets are recommended but completely optional. We opted not to use them as the horses don't go very fast for this trail ride. The owner told us stories, cracked an occasional joke, and overall just came off as a humble man that has a love for animals. We saw deer, chickens, and some other animals throughout the ride. The horses were very well behaved and I couldn't believe how easy they were to steer. Everything went so smooth that for our first time there, we felt like we had been there several times. Wife and I were staying at Mt Pocono area and wanted to visit a stable for horse back ridding. The weather was not at it's best as it was drizzling on and off. Called a few local stables in the area but they seemed like they were not too excited about going out on a lousy day. After searching the web we ran into Daisy Field Farm's page and decided to call. Spoke to Mick and he seemed very nice and professional. We took a 42 mile ride to their farm and it was well worth it. Mick and his wife are awesome. I met my boyfriend for the weekend in Wilkes Barre and we wanted to venture away from the casino. We found Daisy Field Farms and booked a ride for 2. After getting extremely lost on the way there, the owners were kind enough to let us jump on the next time slot. It was just the three of us (guide included). The horses were calm and the ride was beautiful. It was a nice change of pace from busy city living. Our guide was amazing. He was personable and very interesting. My boyfriend and I took a trail ride here this Oct. It was really nice and the owners were very friendly. I liked that it was a private family farm rather then a business stable. The horses were very clean and looked healthy, the property was nicely kept that they took us on the ride through. We went through forests, up and down narrow rocky paths which was cool, and over flat meadow lands. They have really great views of the mountains and it would probably be awesome to see once the leaves really start to change. I would def recommend this place and it wasn't too expensive. read more

I have been here twice with my young sons and we plan on going again this summer. The farm is so beautiful and quaint, my boys would have been happy to stay here all day. There are plenty of farm animals for the kids to feed and pet while waiting their turn on the horses. The owners are beyond nice. It is obvious they love their horses and nature in general. My youngest son really loved discussing the plants and animals we saw along the ride with our trail guide. Both times we have gone we saw dozens of deer and wild turkey just feet from us. The trail is anything but the standard boring old path. It winds around the farm through woods and hills offering beautiful views and enough of a challenge to be fun but not scary for kids. To top it off, all this beauty comes at a reasonable rate! This is a little hidden gem that is perfect for kids and grown ups alike and my kids give it 10 stars! read more
