If you call to reschedule, they won't answer. If you're late and even offer to pay extra, they still won't let you ride. Even if there are available spots on the next ATV tour, they won't let you join. And if you insist, they might get aggressive. In the end, you may have to call the police :) Stay away! read more

The trail was wide with dry and muddy areas so dress appropriately. My GPS kept taking me past the location but it will be the yellow building with a black roof on your left!! I came into this thinking it would be a walk in the park...boy, was I wrong. Due to the recent snow and rain, 90% of the trail was muddy and wet which made for some hardcore ATV riding. Because of these heavy-duty full-size ATVs running over the same path over again & again, the muddy parts were at least 1-2 feet deep making for an extremely treacherous and bumpy ride that will jolt every bone in your body. Since I am light weight, half the time my tush was off the seat. I saw the middle guide stand up on his ATV when the bumpy parts came up so I followed suit. It helped but you have to hold onto your gears for dear life or else. Our ride consisted of 10 people and three guides. One guide leading the way, one in the middle and one at the end. If one rider gets themselves in a pickle, the guides will throw a hand signal for all of us to stop. Please pay attention during training to the instructions. It is important since it involves everyone's safety. I didn't think we would go so fast given that there were so many of us following one behind the other but we were going at a fast speed which made it exciting. Keep your eyes straight ahead and keep one ATV space between you and the one in the front. Stay alert at all times because the terrain will change on you within seconds. Tight turns were my favorite parts. There is a break in the middle of the ride for you to enjoy the scenery and take some pics and rest. The second part of the ride consists of going uphill and downhill. Propel harder to move uphill & brake going downhill if you have to. At the end of it all, you will get "Mud in Your Face" and all over your clothes and shoes. I spent an extra $5 for some plastic shoe coverings. Money well spent. Because I wore shorts, I had mud caked onto my legs. The people here are friendly but they are a bit like drill sergeants. Just pay attention and listen to them carefully. read more

Never done ATV's in the winter but since we happen to be out here, we figured why not it was something fun to do. Once u check in & settled in get your equipment they go through a small lesson of rules etc , then u are off on the trails. Fun tour you follow along , through the wooded area , get go to through water , mud .. nice scenery as u drive along. if your group is good u get to go & try the advance track we did , it was fun. This was a fun tour to do , take .. maybe not the best in winter as I swear my hands were going to fall off from the cold, I was glad to be properly bundled up!! I have mixed feelings about our hour ride at Pocano ATV's. WE had a party of 5. Anthony was our tour guide. Everything was going great. 10 minutes in, we stop for a 15 break. Why? He said that we can get off, take a smoke break (none of us smoke), walk around etc. We paid for an hour. We DO NOT want to stop. Let's get going. We are experienced riders as we have ATV's at home. So after the break the ride got more challenging. We went up some trails on a hill- very rocky, mud, etc. Some interesting sites. Went around and around for the remainder of the hour. read more

A boring experience. ATVs aren't allowed beyond 10 mph. Only allowed in a strict line, like I'm on a choo choo train for kids. Better value elsewhere. Not worth $100+. Also, I heard one of the staff along our journey call me a "fucker" under his breath because I went 15 mph (he was wearing a tie dye shirt today, and looks gaunt in the face). Downloaded yelp again just for this review. Anthony is rude and said he doesn't care about our concerns regarding our tour. We went 10 mph for like 45 minutes and were complaining . They stagger the instructors and have them all go slow. Your paying $100 to go a consistent 10MPH through the trails. I can promise you on foot I would of looked like Usain Bolt beside everyone driving. On top of that they all have eagles gear on like they are stars on the Philadelphia Eagles. It probably would make sense for them to wear reflective gear in the case someone needs to identify them for any particular reason. Anyone seeking any ATV exp in town should seek another business. read more

We booked this tour on a nice fall foliage Sunday in October. About 8 ATV's go out at once after you get your tutorial. Easy instruction although I rode on the back with my husband so about $140 for an hour for 2 people. Wasn't too muddy for us although it rained heavy that last Friday. Would love this more if you could book private because you can't go at higher speeds because of the line formation with others. They are big on safety and not having your cell out even if you're the passenger... overall it was fun to be on the back trail of memory town smelling the pines. Probably more fun with smaller group, but ours seemed full and the time riding was more like 40 minutes. read more

I did this experience a few years ago and there used to be some leeway allowing the ride to be more exciting for those who wanted it and can handle it. Unfortunately now it's structured almost for grandma. Take paths, slow speeds, straight line with no passing, drive in a big circle. And you spend 5 minutes of your 55 minute ride drivIng around the test track to make sure you know how to stop and 10 minutes on an unnecessary break in the middle of the woods... so it's really a 40 minute tour for $100. Had absolutely worst experience. The staff was really rude. One of the workers kicked us off the ATV and told us to WALK back because we were pressing gas too hard, in reality nobody was going more than 10 MPH. When I asked why do I have to walk, he punched the ATV I was on, and yelled "get out now or I'll drag you". Pocono ATV is a great place to ride ATVs. Most of our party hadn't ridden ATVs, so it was the perfect place to start learning. The first part of the ride is on more flat terrain, but takes you through forests, fields and mud. Then you move on to the second half which is awesome! It's more advanced, and takes you up steep inclines and around tight corners. The trail was muddy, and that was cool. We were hoping to get to go through some water, but that's ok! The people there are laid back and helpful. Brittany made the registration process easy, and answered all our questions. Brittany told me that they are moving to another site soon with different trails. Shout out to Amanda, our tour guide! We'll definitely come back when they open at the new place! read more

Being in the Poconos and looking for attractions we found this place only minutes away. Very friendly staff and fulfilling experience. Called ahead as we were a group of 8. Also have options for doubles if you have companion that is scared to drive. Although rules are strict there is available room for your demon of speed. As much as they say that you can't slow down and create room to accelerate freely it seemed like nobody cared which was a huge plus. The tour started off easy but yet it made you feel comfortable with the vehicle and this was my first time which really made me feel comfortable. The tour accelerates and there is room for crazy fun although specified as not possible or illegal ( lol ). Barely any price difference for a double seat if you have companion or a loved one. Helmets are provided. Expect to get dirty as you will go over water and puddles as well as areas that are tricky to control. Overall had a blast. At the end we found out that we could have asked for shoe protector bags. Still 5 stars for the ability and open space to drive at your own pace. Great establishment and very friendly staff. Expect to get dirty and ask for shoe bags if you arrive with brand new sneakers. read more

ATV tour anyone?!! Wind in your hair. Splashing through puddles. Mud everywhere. Hills, cliffs and rocks! And deer! Love them cute timid ass track stars. Me and my sister booked my dad's first ATV experience in the Poconos and he had a blast. We signed a waiver removing them from liability if we broke a finger, arm, leg, neck or drove off a cliff. Hmmmm.... YOLO! At 5pm the tour began. We warmed up. Practiced hand signals, acceleration and turns for 10 minutes and through the woods we went. The trails were well groomed for the most part, and there was plenty of daylight left which was super awesome because I associate the woods with death: 'Michael Meyers', 'Freddy & Jason vs. Kelly Rowland', and 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'... I plays no games, I wont hike too far and I won't camp. You would think it's because of the animals and it's that too... but these psychos be out here WILDIN. I'm too cute to be Friday the 13th'ed. Hard pass! But the ride was very cool. I caught myself cheesing at times. I felt like Kanye when he smiles that one good time every 2 years. The trails you tour are for beginners. The bikes are automatic. The trail guides make sure you stay with the group. You only get a little dirty and that also depends if you ride through huge puddles. You stop for a picture break before you step up the fun on the other side of the woods. Nothing you can't handle. I had fun but I give it 4 stars because it wasn't a full hour and I wanted more adventure. It was a pretty cool family activity though. read more

I found this site on a random search of activities in the area of the cabin we were staying at for the weekend near East Stroudsburg. Going up to the site the day we decided to to ride, we had no problem getting a walk-on registration for the trip. The staff was friendly and easy-going, the instructions were simple, and the tour was a lot of fun. I've been riding since childhood, but my girlfriend was a first-time rider, and with their demonstration, she was off and riding happily in a few short minutes. The trip is an hour from start to finish, with plenty of mud, switch-backs, and scenery to be had on both sides of the main road.
