By Order of Ole, this place is unique and cool. It was a great park to stop with my dogs and get…read moresome fresh air. There are so many different unique and interesting outdoor exhibits to check out. The church is absolutely stunning and cool as was the replica of the Norwegian shop. They had a Dutch windmill, a man made waterfall, a few statues of famous scandanavians, a giant rooster from sweden inspiration if I recall, etc. And walkways connecting them all. Using Yelp as our…read moreguide for places to camp, eat, and site-see, we were stoked to find this gem of a Road Side Attraction. Coming from a very Swedish background I had a such a wonderful time here. We arrived early in the morning and had the place to ourselves to take wacky photos with the Dala horse and enjoy the quaint little buildings. The woman working in the church was wonderful to chat with and told us everything we could possibly want to know about the architectural history of each structure. The gift shop had some really unique gifts and was moderately priced. I stocked up on postcards and Leif Erikson magnets. If you are in Minot it would be a shame to pass this place up.
