A friend and I stopped in on a wine walk because... free pizza. The word was out amongst the…read morewalkers & when someone says "there's free pizza 2 doors down", you go, even if you aren't a pizza fan. We walked in &, apparently, all walkers had the same lost look, as we were pointed in a direction with a "the pizza is that way" by a very pleasant gal. We found the staircase,(guys, I know... yes, the idea of free pizza had us in a strange place taking a staircase to who knows where/what), and popped out by an order counter that very much resembled a bar for kids. I was very impressed with the way staff interacted with the kids bellied up. If you have kids definitely worth the visit. If you don't have kids, still worth a pop-in! Oh, the pizza turned out to be from domino's & was, in fact, a lure to get people in to check them out - brilliant!

The owner was happy and helpful, and I could tell that she was working her butt off! -Unlimited toppings. What?! -Unique flavors. My husband and I shared the flavor, "Big Muddy" which was chocolate overload. It was really yummy! There are lots of cool flavors, and the owner told us that she takes requests for ordering new ice cream flavors and toppings. -Free arcade games. So cool that they don't make you pay to play them! Here's what could be improved: -The space felt a little dingy. It still has cool seating and a unique feel, though, so don't let that deter you from coming here! -There were two sizes of cups sitting on the counter, but when I told the owner I wanted the small size, she said they don't sell that size. I was confused why they had that size of cup sitting out if they wouldn't sell it. Oh well! Magic City Sweets seems like the kind of place I wish existed when I was younger! It has such a cool feel that's unique to Minot, and the service couldn't be better. Go give it a try! And don't forget to try the Big Muddy flavor. (;
