I've been wearing glasses since 1986 and have had the experience of dealing with a ton of stores in multiple states over decades. I've never worked with anyone quite this bad. Also, the icing on the cake with her nastiness was the UNAUTHORIZED $50 she tried to charge me to look at some different lens color options for some sunglasses. I called her on the carpet this morning as to why she "snuck" this unauthorized charge in and she politely and quickly removed the charges. I'm certain if I would have went above her head on sneaking that $50 charge on me she would have got in trouble from her managers as she threw this charge in out of PURE nastiness. What makes this experience sting even worse is that I was a returning customer. On a positive note I spent $650 with them in December of 2013 and the lens quality of the glasses I ordered was AMAZING. Their lab makes an excellent quality lens. I'm going to keep working with this company just certainly not with Jessica.

The second surgery was done in Sioux Falls at Opthalmology Limited. I was diagnosed with Wet MD this August & have had eye injections done by Dr. Thomas. The last two injections have been done in Mitchell at the Mabee Eye Clinic. The appointments are run like a well oiled clock. Yesterday, I left at 11:50 from work, had the scan, eye test & injection. I was back at work at 12:30. Great professionals and staff!

And then, on top of that, they tend to "try out" new non-formulary treatments (read expensive and not covered) without any real discussion with the patients. I wouldn't be surprised if there were financial incentives between the pharmacy sales representatives and clinics to push those instead of less expensive options that work as well. And their financial people seem to have difficulty with communication. They struggle getting even simple pre-authorizations and seem offended if you call with even a simple question. If they're short…read morestaffed and extremely busy how else would they be able to call you ahead of time to say they're busy. You're not the center of the universe. There are a lot of people who get seen besides yourselves. Think about that. People need to learn and respect health care workers. They take a lot of time caring for others and sometimes miss their breaks to help inconsiderate and ungrateful jerks like yourselves.
