Dr Turner checked my eye and found I had multiple scratches on my eye .Within a day after her giving me correct meds I was starting to see again, I cannot begin to tell you the relief that I had. I honestly could not believe how good she was, not only with the correct diagnosis but she was so compassionate . She is an amazing Doctor and I am so grateful for her I will never go see any other doctor. Plus she had her staff call me the next day to make sure the medicine was working before she left for the weekend. Her staff was so kind, note I was a crying mess.

While I understand offices can run behind, there was very little communication during the delay. There was also confusion regarding insurance and a copay. They always do this. My insurance takes care of that between the two. Two front desk staff members insisted I owed a copay, while another employee later reviewed the account and stated that my balance showed $0 owed and questioned why payment was being requested at all. I appreciated the newer employee taking the time to properly look into the issue and explain things respectfully. Unfortunately, after this situation, I experienced behavior from two front desk staff members that I found unprofessional and upsetting. While leaving, there was snickering/laughing directed toward me, and when I returned to request a note for appointment, one employee was dismissive and very rude. I am not writing this to cause problems, but because the overall experience left me uncomfortable and embarrassed during what should have been a routine medical appointment for my child. I would appreciate this being reviewed so future visits can be handled more professionally and respectfully.

Even though I had to go back a couple of times to make some adjustments, they were always friendly and tried their best to make me happy. That's just my story, but I want to share about my mom's experience as well. I invited her from Armenia to see how our doctors can help her. She had severe complications after cataract surgery and couldn't see hardly anything with one of her eyes. She went to multiple doctors back home, but they couldn't help her. Our great doctor Alex Kilgore surgically recovered her vision on both eyes. Another great doctor Steven Rae prescribed her glasses for double vision which was the culmination of the story! My mom couldn't believe her own eyes! It is wonderful! Thank you, Kilgore Vision Center! Absolutely recommend it to everyone.

She is not a friendly person and I will not be dealing with her in the future the doctors have always seemed nice. Stay Away from Sarah just rude. Dr. Howell worked so well with the kids, making them completely comfortable and explaining everything he was checking and seeing. They were so excited to look through the "binoculars" and see which letters they could and couldn't read. They've already asked if they can go back soon. The office is incredibly beautiful and comfortable. It's a very peaceful atmosphere with great coffee, and the staff is very helpful as well. Also, Dr. Howell was able to answer a question I've been asking optometrists for YEARS about one of my eyes, with no real answer. He took the time to look into it, examine my eye, and explain exactly what is happening. It gave me such peace of mind. He really did go the extra mile to make sure we understood everything. All of my boys checked out with perfect vision, but mama needed some new frames, which I wasn't too sad about! Adrienne was SO great in helping me pick them out. She wasn't rushing me to hurry up and pick, but was actually considering what looked good (and not so good) on my face shape, with my style, etc. I've been to many optometrist offices, and this is by far the best experience I've ever had.
