They are mainly photos of peoples back of their heads, people feet, random things. Most photos are off-center, unedited, and most were blurry. We could not find one nice photo out of 100. This is so heartbreaking because its not like an annual even like a birthday party where were can "try again next year". This was a once in a life time moment that will never come again. My husband and my family and I are in disbelief and are so very heartbroken. We let the owner (paul) know who has stopped replying. There has been no solution, no refund, not even an apology. Dont waste your special day or event on this 'photographer', let alone the money. :(

This photographer did "school photos" for a non-profit my kids are involved in. We ordered one…read morelarge group photo, and 2 individual photos - one for each child. I received one large group photo and three small group photos. No photos of my kids! WTH? I emailed her several times, with no response. I followed up with the volunteer organizer at our organization, and after checking with Annemarie he was told my kids never showed up for their photo, so Annemarie just made a decision to substitute the group photos. I emailed her asking for a refund, noting I would happily return the unwanted/unordered photos. No response. (Wow - what a way to make a great impression with your customer service skills.) I finally called her today - had a heated discussion, and finally got agreement to refund me. The amount is small ($10) but at this point, it's the principle of things that has me on a tear this morning. Today on the phone she denied *any* responsibility. - She didn't make the order form. (Why wouldn't she provide a standardized form?) - She has nothing to do with the instructions to the kids. (Why wouldn't she provide a standard set of instructions to the organization, and/or bring wranglers with her?) What I understood from the conversation is: her only responsibility is to (a) show up and (b) take people's money and (c) then make random substitutions on their order without making any effort to contact them to find out if that's what they want!) Here's what could happen to improve the situation for future: 1) Reply to emails 2) Have a clear order form with your policies stated on it. (If substitutions will be made, and it's the parent's responsibility to ensure their kids show up for pictures - say it on the order form.) 3) Provide clear and specific instruction to the organization you are taking photos for, with their responsibilities. By the way - another nail in the coffin of customer service - to get my (deserved) $10 refund, I have to mail back the photos she randomly substituted. At this point, with a customer as unhappy as I, one might think she would say "keep the photos". It's likely a total cost of $1 for her. It's an inconvenience for me and I suspect that in her mind she feels like she's getting tit-for-tat. I'd rather just throw them in the garbage - but whatever. I recognize that this probably isn't the easiest business - however, if you are going to work in it, at least do it well. I have never had an issue with other "school photo" type businesses. Based on her website she is not a dedicated "school photo" photographer, and perhaps therein lies the problem. Would I return: No. I'm *very* unhappy with my personal experience with this business. Would I recommend: No. If you choose to use her, make sure she spells out in great detail what her policies are, as her customer service seems to be lacking ( in my humble opinion).
