The one lady is older and has a hard time understanding me, which would be fine if her counterpart wasn't such a nasty bitch. I have never been treated so poorly by any office staff and I will not be returning. Its also safe to say that my FIVE brothers and sisters, their families and my father will not be returning either due to this rudeness. They are condescending and do not listen. They listen to react, no to understand. Sorry Dr. Angelini but after starting there OVER 20 years ago, I am going to find a new provider.

The extra exam fee was never disclosed and when I tried to advocate for myself (which I always find so awkward and uncomfortable and something I've had to actively practice throughout my life to gain courage to do) I was told I wouldn't be able to order any new contacts without paying this fee and getting an updated prescription. I felt like I was getting fear mongered and taken advantage of and it was awful. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, in fact I called several other eye doctors on the same street and got a quote for $40 for a contact lens exam. Unfortunate for me and a hard lesson learned.

He apologizes, makes excuses for her but this last time sent me over the edge. I tried ordering contacts on-line (I guess she didn't like that?) but she wouldn't confirm my prescription with the company. They shipped me the wrong prescription, but they refunded me. She then contacted them 5 days later and (according to them) said my prescription had expired. Dr. M claimed she confirmed my prescription. So why did I get the WRONG lenses? Because she isn't telling the truth. The online company said when she finally responded to their SECOND request, she told them my prescription was expired. Dr. M said "no, she confirmed the prescription." He then informed me that he and his staff don't have TIME to contact patients. That did it for me. Oh, and he requires you to come in EVERY year for an exam while other doctors (my NEW one!) don't! I guess he just wants the money.

It was my first time coming here and I was here to look for new glasses only. The front desk was…read moreso friendly and welcoming when I had come in and after verifying my vision insurance, showed me a large selection of frames. While I can't speak on Dr. Cardillo Sr., his son Dennis Cardillo Jr., an optician, helped me with the process of getting new glasses. Dennis was friendly, answered all my questions, and never rushed or pushed me into buying new glasses. My prescription is high, and so Dennis explained the different options for my glasses, including pricing. To ensure my glasses would be right, he had me try them on, marked my optical center, and measured my pupillary distance. He said it would take a week and a half for my glasses to be ready which it did (10 business days). Instead of just picking them up, I made an appointment to have them dispensed. That meant Dennis would have me try them on, and adjust them if necessary. This step I definitely appreciated. They also offer lasik evaluations. They are open Monday-Thursday only. There is street parking. 5/5.
